Should have stayed on the bus BBG if it was headed to the Village of the Damn Sexy Ladyboys in Naklua!

Below are a list of TT branches. The first show the branches that were open over the New Years holiday. The second shows the ones that were closed.

Today at around 6PM Kasikorn had a rate of 30.93 quite a bit higher than TT.

I think as with most financial markets the ramifications of known future events are already baked into the current price.

So if we made an assumption (which would probably not be true) that the dollar appreciates straight up to it's peak and then depreciates straight downhill, when we see the baht depreciate once again on Soi Buakhao then it's time to use the Visa card at the old stale rate which should be the peak.

I would think you would have some protection and I'm sure people do. But let's say you book a round trip ticket. You get to your destination, in Sustra's case Bangkok. Then the return flight gets cancelled. What is the obligation of the airline? Put you on another flight and if so when? Refund approx half the price of the ticket and then you buy an expensive one way flight home? I would think there are many ways it might be handled. In a different case, I have a friend in Thailand now. He is going home by way of China in a couple months but staying in China for a week or so just to see the place. He booked his flight using miles/points. Last I spoke with him he probably wants to skip the China visit. Unclear at this point if he can cancel the stay in China and get his Mies back.

I agree. Go for it! The worst they can do as Arch says is to cancel the flight. When you click through to the various offers, you'll see Air China, Kissandfly, Vayama etc. I wonder if the flight was cancelled would ther ebe less of a hassle getting a refund through Air China or a 3rd party such as Kissnadfly? I've always been a bit wary of the 3rd party sites thinking if there was some sort of problem with a booking that I'd rather deal directly with an airline. But maybe with a cancellation refund, the 3rd party would want to protect their reputation and pressure the airline? What do you guys think? Talking about Skyscanner guys, if you use Skyscanner we really would appreciate it if you use our links. If you click through to a Skyscanner deal, we earn a small commission whether or not you actually book a flight. This helps defray the operating costs of LBR. Skyscanner Link If you are using Agoda or Booking.com we would also appreciate it if you use our links. Thanks!

Big move in the last couple days. Head office of Super Rich at 30.80 today. Farang currencies are gaining and Asian currencies weakening so good for the sex tourist.
-
The dollar closed at 30.80 at the head office of Super Rich Thailand which will be slightly higher than TT in Pattaya. The baht's depreciation is mostly coronavirus related.

Coffee Works on the ground floor of the Avenue Mall is having a Buy 1, Get 1 Free sale on coffee beans. It's not a place to actually drink coffee but rather to buy beans, coffee machines, and to enrol in barista courses. If you do buy 1 and get 1, you don't have to have them grind both, you can have one ground and bring back the other a month later to be ground preserving freshness.

Yanks changing money will like today's exchange rate! Think it has to do with Coronavirus.

My better half said some of the massage ladies she works with were wearing masks today.

Excellent video! The first part of the video also discusses the many rumours swirling about town.

Somebody said that Dada ex-TJ's is working at 69 now. Can anyone confirm?

Although I believe that the Invision software does some automatic resizing there are certain limitations to length, width, and megabytes. There are various resizing programs, but what I usually do with photos is to first post them on Facebook (with the setting only visible to me). Facebook compresses the photo so then I download the compressed photo and post it on LBR. Then I delete the photo on Facebook (which was only visible to me anyway).

I have no idea but it appears one Portrait was loaded. Was good to catch up with you Annat!

Obviously not good news. At least Kev is not in any pain.

It seems rather odd when a low budget guy is told he should stay home and don't come to Thailand unless he going to spend a certain amount of money. I won't be ringing any bells on my 500 baht per day budget (after rent). OTOH, if a guy wants to splash the cash that's up to him.
