But perhaps some thought should be put into what music makes the Katty Kittens want to take off their clothes? We suggest that bars make their threads a Club as it is easier to group threads together and gives a bar greater control over content in their official threads. But it's up to a bar to decide if they want their thread(s) to be in a Club or not. In the Katty Klub anyone can join but the Club Creator can ban whoever they choose and that person would no longer be able to post in the Club. Yes. However, repetitive derogatory posts, such as what New Bar was subjected to last month, will probably result in being put on moderated status or banning. LBR moderation has a much lower tolerance for keyboard warriors than we did a couple months ago and now posters are being put on moderated status much more quickly. To be clear, if you you think a bar is overpriced or has unfriendly talent or just isn't your cuppa go ahead and post your feelings about the bar. If it is in within a Club then the Club Creator can delete (not edit) posts they deem offensive. We have found over the years that some barowners have thrown hissy fits over the most minor criticism. With a Club, instead of crying to the mods they can delete what they don't like and keep us out of the loop. If it is not within a Club, it's probably OK to post most criticism as long as it is not libel or unless a poster is cyber stalking the bar. Yes, Katty Bar is highly regarded here. LBR members overwhelmingly voted Katty Bar the Bar of the Year. It is one of my favorite bars. However, we make the Club offer to all bars. The primary reason for a bar not choosing the club format is the perceived difficulty of dealing with slightly different tech than what they are used to. To me, it seems like a much nicer format. The Upvote Button is an option that became available on Invision forums a few years back based on the popularity of Reddit. In the Questions subforum you have the choice of sorting posts within a thread by posting date or by Upvotes. If you had a question such as. "where's the best place to exchange money in Pattaya" and the thread had hundreds of responses and our forum members all used the Upvote button then it might make sense to sort by Upvotes so that the best responses are near the top. But for the majority of LBR threads, most readers prefer chronological order. Last year, you could sort by Upvote in any subforum but after some upgrades and updates it doesn't appear that you can do so outside of the Questions subforum and we never looked into why as we believe there is zero demand for sorting buy Upvotes here. A rather long winded answer. If you like a post you can either Like it or Upvote it. Up to you!
