I strongly recommend Hello Stranger. It is a Hollywood style romantic comedy done extremely well. It's on Netflix. Also on Netflix, I watched the first season (2020) of The Underclass on Netflix. Although I watched all the episodes, I suspect that most of you won't like it so this is not a recommendation. I like that they use very simple Thai spoken clearly and slowly with good subtitles so I used it to try to improve my Thai.

Can't argue to much with his selection of Grand Ave at 13K, not far from the Hideaway. He seemed to have no love for the Centara Avenue not liking the idea that he would share the pool with tourists. The Centara unit looked quite similar to the unit Dukey rented at the Centara, which looks like one of the units with the terrace facing diagonally which I think is a real plus. I stayed at the Centara Condo for two nights and felt that the quality of the fixtures was superior to the Grand. My impression of the Grand is once they made their off plan sales they went cheap on the fixtures. As I said can't argue with renting at the Grand for 13K. You can stumble home even if mao mak, lagoon pool, nice gym, sauna, and one of the rare condos that has a steam room. Before Covid, that unit would probably rent for 18K with asking prices even higher. Excellent series, the most any series for me put together by any Vlogger but I have a special interest in Pattaya condos.

Tomorrow, Singles Day, 11-11, Thai Smile is having a sale. Nice thing about Thai Smile is that the price u see is the price u get. You get 20 kg free checked luggage and most of their flights are out of Swampy. You can pay at 7/11 for a nominal service charge about 30-50 baht. It is neither booze nor fags . Do you get stamps with that?

By finishes do you mean they won't give out stamp after Nov 23 or you can't redeem stamps after Nov 23? Btw, IMO this is a vey useful thread in that most of our members already knew where to find well equipped ladyboys but did not know that these stamps are more or less a cash equivalent. Redeem enough of them and you have enough to lick a ladyboy while peeling off the back of your stickers.

I just redeemed my first stickers today. So do you put them in a sticker book? if so, how do you get a book? Are there any other advantages to putting the stickers in a book. I'm also trying to figure out All Member discounts. Usually, I call the clerks attention to the discount and then they look it up on their phone and apply the discount. Time consuming for them and for people behind me in line. I just downloaded the 7/11 Thailand app but the comments section looks as is filled with all sorts or Thai Visa Forum grumpy expat comments. It seems you need a Thai ID to register but I suppose if you know the correct number of digits you could make one up. The app is mostly in Thai, perhaps a good exercise to learn Thai, but it's in one of the unusual fonts that make it very tough for me. Truth be told even if in the standard font trying to figure out the details of their promotions would be extremely difficult, almost impossible for me. Anyone use the app?

In the episode above, Lucas looks at the Arcadia Continental. I believe that I looked at the slightly older sister property Arcadia Beach. He says he thinks the units he looked at were 66 sqm and the living room felt spacious. I believe that unit I looked at was 58 sqm and it felt small. Some of the negatives are a lack of closet space, an extremely small sofa and really nowhere to add additional storage space. When I first saw pics of the Acadia Continental's and Arcadia's Beach lagoon style pools I was wowed but when I went there the pool didn't seem as great as the pics. I think a lagoon style pool is a great selling point for a hotel but for a condo, a functional pool is more important. The gyms in both places are impressive. The actual neighborhood outside the complex didn't do too much for me and the walk up the hill to the baht bus isn't too far but a bit of a pain and the walk down at night feels a bit barren. But 17K for a two bedroom isn't bad. There has never been a better time to rent a condo in Pattaya. Eventually sales prices will start falling significantly. Right now the price drops are modest, maybe 20% from pre-covid times. There is a complete mismatch of supply and demand. Lastly, I'm lusting after his real estate agent!
