Sam, torrents are easy once you know how. First thing you need is a download client. I recommend uTorrent, which is available here: http://www.utorrent.com/ Download and install the client, and then go back to your favorite torrent site (such as EZTV), and click on the download link for the torrent you'd like to download. Your computer may ask you for permission to open and download the file. Just agree to everything, and uTorrent will manage the download for you. The time it will take to download the actual file depends how how much bandwidth you have available, and how many seeds and leachers are sharing. It's taken me about 45 minutes per episode downloading here in Thailand; my guess is it should be faster for you if you're in North America. When the download is finished, you can watch the file. Easy peasy. Really!

As if that's a *bad* thing. Part 4 is now up on EZTV and has 288 seeders ATM. Part 5 should be up in about 12 hours, and I'll put up direct links to all parts so searching won't be needed. And we'll have one place where guys can find info on the files.

Wandered past Nuch about an hour ago. Although they seem to have an attractive roster during the day, the late-night roster is not for the faint of heart. Beware there be dragons. Not traded. There are a few NEP go-gos that open around 1PM, and they're all owned by the Nana Group so they let anyone from any of their bars to pick up an extra shift. Cindy left around 5:30 to grab a shower. Was tempted to join her but was waiting for a friend. I gotta quit doing that.

Check to see if your CU or bank will set up a Standing Wire Order for you; if so, that should drop the price to $10~$15 USD per wire. I know that's a fact for 2 of the top 4 US banks. And FYI: Charles Schwab will give one free international wire per calendar quarter (subject to minimum balance).

I'd be willing to bet that BKK Bank is more popular that you think. For one thing, when I retired a few years ago, I discovered that BKK Bank was the *only* Thai bank to which the US government will directly deposit funds. Don't know if that's because BKK Bank is the only Thai bank that the US government deemed trustworthy or the NYC branch had something to do with it. But either way, that's pretty important for US retirees wishing to have their SSA checks deposited here each month. I did not try to open a checking account, but a standard savings was dead easy to open as a visitor after I learned the requirements. Having a certified copy of one's passport opened many doors. Being a long time lurker of a popular Thai visa forum, I would never put much money in a Kasikorn account because I've see too many threads of K Bank's customers complaining of money gone missing. With regard to BBK Bank; some have complained about their fees, but I can't recall many (if any) threads about funds gone missing.

Last month took a motocy from the Pattaya bus station to LK Metro, and they want 60 THB. Return trip was 50 THB.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were also record year for Australians and Russians.

My experience is that most guys (including me) are quite happy hitting both GG and LB bars. But there have been a few that were LB bars only; some were anti-GG, and others said they got enough GG at home. But while you're trying to do a survey, don't forget the boy bars!
