There is some serious erosion caused by flood water going over the curb, and that might have compromised a tree or two. Other than that, I don't see any trees being removed.

Been walking Beach Road every morning. Don't see any trees disappearing.

Next time you're in town, please show me where. Made a couple treks through the last few weeks, and talent was pretty thin.

Could be. But with low season and the lack of customers, the bars are pretty stretched already. The BiB might have to eat this one.

Should be interesting to see what happens. The 300 meters to Soi Cowboy is as the crow flies. If they measure by walking distance, Soi Cowboy should be okay. Or, it could just be another law on the books to ignore.

The girls aren't going to blow you just because you showed up. Try buying a few LDs. Sometimes that can prime the pump; so to speak. Baby Boom can be a fun bar if you treat the girls right.

Had great fun at the party. Many thanks to the guys who made it happen. Here's hoping there's another soon. Must also say it was nice having a room. And the price certainly can't be beat. Will defo do it again next time.

Stockings Night tonight at Baby Boom - July 19. Hope they restocked the cider.

Just checked in to the Cocco Resort. Rooms are nicer than I expected. Can't beat it for 685 THB. Looks like there might be a couple left.

Soi Cowboy in Bangkok. Police made the entire soi close at midnight until Suzy Wong's paid up. Only lasted a couple days.

Friday morning woke up around 8:30, and decided to try some breakfast for a change. The place I'm staying has reasonably good security (if the maid remembers to close front entrance), but they don't do anything to keep people from hanging around out front. Was surprised to see you-know-who waiting across the street. And on top of that, she had a huge bag over her shoulder. Who knows what horrors it contained. Took her to breakfast and back to the room to dirty the sheets. This time she only left one top, a pair of high heels, and another dusting of glitter Gotta find out if this place as a back entrance..

I believe so. The other thing I noticed is that she uses some body spray or something that contains glitter, so every surface in the room is covered in glitter.

I just say, "my ow crap" and keep walking. If they block my path, I stop, look them in the eye, and wait for them to move. They usually remember me next time.

Talked with 4 LBs at the bar, 2 said new boss, 2 said old boss. The two that said old boss, said the bar closed because no customers. When asked why it opened again so quickly, they didn't have a clue. Another LB said they actually did put new speakers in, but i don't recall anything wrong with the previouse speakers, and it all sounded the same to me. Another said a bar is required by law to put a sign on the door if closed for more than one day. Don't know if that's true, but when Suzy Wong's was closed for having underage workers, they too had an "under renovation" sign on the door.

Thusday it was packed. Friday, not so much. Indeed a new mamasan, and some of my favorites are gone. Didn't notice more GGs, they had a few like always. Had a good time, and no bill padding as per usual.

"Today, you do laundry?" "What?" "I want take care my clothes, I want you take care my clothes." "You have clothes too much. I don't know what is clean, and what should go to laundry. You take care." "All." "All what." "I want all clothes go laundry." I figured this was my chance. There's a laundry near her work, so I'll just take everythig over there, get it done, and drop it off when she's at work. A cunning plan indeed. So after a couple LTs and a couple STs, the final count is: 4 makeup bags. Assorted toiletries 10 tops 2 skirts 7 dresses 1 Pant 3 boy shorts/panties 3 panties 2 pair high heels Missing 1 toothbrush I imagine she'll be frosted when I hand it to her.
