Mostly Thais and some low budget farang who live there. If you click through and see the pic, the femboy appears to be in her 20's. Not sure why she is in handcuffs and he's not. If they look too young, they probably are. And even if they don't look too young, check her ID and attempt to verify that it is indeed her real ID. He was invited back to “Arno’s” rented apartment which was at The Shisha House. In the room, “Arno demanded oral sex from the young boy, as well as the use of his hands. After finishing up, “Arno” paid the boy 500 Baht from his services and they both went their separate ways. Then on January 28th, “Arno” contacted the boy once again, but this time the boy refused, because his parents had found out. The parents immediately called the child services, who in turn got in touch with police. There was no sting involved in this case, but definitely is something mongers in any country need to pay attention to. Scarry, Also scarry is that underage ladyboys will be using borrowed or phoney IDs. So how can you verify age? One way is to talk about Thai-Chinese zodiac animal years with those in the 18-23 age category, and make sure that their stated animal year corresponds with the year on the ID card. If they are born in the year of the Rabbit, Dragon, or Snake then it's a no go for someone who claims to be 18-23 although a 27 year old ladyboy could be born in the year of the Snake. If a ladyboy is of Thai-Chinese heritage they will likely know their animal year. It gets a bit tricky though if one was born in January or early February. Also since it's not common bar talk, if a ladyboy doesn't speak good English it will be confusing for her. But she is also unlikely to purposely lie about her animal year because it seems like such an innocent question. This makes Lao, Cambodian, and Filipina ladyboys with passports a safer option. Or only going with ladyboys who look 30+ or only going with ladyboys who have been known in the scene for many years.
