Round 1: Ed McMahon Ed McMahon is best known as Johnny Carson's sidekick on the Tonight Show. He is also known for being the spokesman for Publishers Clearing House. What American hasn't seen those TV commercials. It's a tough one because they don't have shows on him about his body of work. Basically just laughing at Johnny, introducing Johnny and pimping products was his only claim to fame.
