  1. "OK, I will buy that, at least as far as things like our overthrow of a democratically - installed Guatemala in 1954, Diem in Vietnam in 1963 and Allende in Chile in 1973. When it comes to covering American interests - IE, covering our asses - I am sure the CIA and the FBI are second-to-none at that. But that doesn't explain things like UFO's and 9/11 and RFK, birth certificates, etc......it seems like people just NEED to have an alternate explanation, that the official line is never good enough." Yeah, it kinda does. When you look at more recent lies, like Iraq had WMDs, etc. It is obvious even to the common mouth-breather, that we are being lied to BIG TIME. In such an environment, it is perfectly natural that conspiracies theories will proliferate as people with varying degrees of cognitive abilities and thinking skills try and make sense of their world. I guess in technical terms this is called noise. It is exactly what the various "intelligence" services count on--few people know wtf is really going on. Whatever the official narrative du jour may be at any given moment, about whatever topic, you can bet that it is more than likely a cover story. Especially if it involves invading a poor country and murdering hundreds of thousands of their people, just uncle homeland did in Iraq and elsewhere.
  2. No need to look all they to North Korea, when we've got our own home grown gulag right here. http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/the_shame_of_americas_gulag_20130317/
  3. "One of the reasons why conspiracy theories flourish in the US is because long ago, the FBI & the CIA realised the best way to cover their tracks was to "muddy the waters". One of the things I never got around to in our marathon debate about JFK (and I aint going through all that again!) was to repeat an explanation of why there was so much confusion around his death & why there were so many conflicting conspiracy theories surrounding it, is because they were being started & spread by people inside the government." Exactly Pacman! And they have only refined their "art" in the years after. These people are masters of deception, manipulation, murder and every manner of dirty trick imaginable. They have people placed in positions of infuence in most major "news" organizations, both print and electronic. Well, I dunno if the US is the country with the largest percentage of conspiracy theorists. I do know that we have been lied to for so long about so many things, that anything coming form "official sources" and the mainstream media should be considered with deep suspicion and never swallowed whole at face value. Especially when they are beating the drums for war. The 9-11 thing stinks to high heaven.
  4. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree, JaiDee. I do not buy the official explanation of 911. Clearly some buildings came down and something hit the pentagon, yet I remain agnostic as to who and why. Though of course, I have my suspicions. As far as JFK, I don't really care. But to me, the official story is utter crap of the highest order. Just to be clear, conspiracies are going on all the time. It is how the world works. However, it seems to me that there is not ONE global conspiracy that is really in control of everything, rather there are groups of competiting conspiracies. This seems obvious just form the fact that even entities that are regularly demonized, like the CIA, the Catholic church, Goldman Sachs, et al are not monolithic. Instead, there are groups and individuals within those organizations with their own oftentimes conflicting agendas. See: LIBOR, money laundering by HSBC. By necessity these were ALL conspiracies. That is, it took a group of people to pull it off, who then agreed to conceal their actions, viola conspiracy. Happens all the fucking time.
  5. Just for shits and giggles, 33 conspiracies that turned out to be true: http://www.secretsofthefed.com/33-conspiracy-theories-that-turned-out-to-be-true/

  7. Oh man, I so wanna get a taste of Nancy's monster cock one of these days. Next time I am in the LOS, I will make a point to check out Pattaya. Also wanna try out the prostate massage place. Just itching to go full perv.
  8. Let's hope the Venezuelan people are able to get on with things without further depredations/coups/plots/assassinations and various and sundry scams by The Empire.
  9. Well said Jimslim. I could not agree more. I always admired him for standing up to The Empire and for having the balls to call out the shrub at the UN. RIP comandante.
  10. Sorry, guys if this has already been explained, but WTF happened? I really liked that place:(
  11. The guy is another fascist tea bragger douche bag. Fuck him. That said, given H.L. Menken's quip that "No one has ever gone broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." is probably truer now than it's ever been. It is very much within the realm of possibility for the republicans to simply soften their rhetoric and manage to install that piece of shit or someone very like him.
  12. It's too bad these sick fucks will not get what's coming to them. The Nazi Pope will resign. There will be some noises about "a few bad apples," and things will go back to business as usual. As bad as these instances of abuse have been in the "developed world," can you imagine the horrors going on in places like Latin America and the Philipines, where the Catholic church is still looked at with awe and reverence by the poor and iliterate masses in those countries? Talk about "The horror, the horror."
  13. This just further confirms the old adage that goes "You know how dumb the average person is? Wel, by definition, half of 'em are even dumber than that." -J.R. Bob Dobbs Been shaving my man bits and ass for years, never had any problems; thank fuck.
  14. Hey DT, happy birthday:) Hope you're enjoying life.
  15. [quote name="Rickshaw" post Call me a helpless romantic if you must, but if my partner of the moment does not enjoy sex with me, I cannot enjoy sex with them. Totally with you on that, you hopeless romantic. I'm not hung like a porn star by any means, but I am quite happy with what I've got. Never had any complaints about size, at east not to my face. I've even had a ladyboy or two tell me I was to big to stick it in their ass, but that was surely more a case of them just not being into getting ass-fucked and not being up front about it in the interest of getting paid, than me being too big.
  16. These commie bastards will stop at nothing to destroy capitalism and take all our goodies. Now this: http://www.disinfo.com/2013/01/atmospheric-oxygen-levels-are-dropping-faster-than-atmospheric-carbon-levels-are-rising/
  17. Everyone knows that global warming is a hoax perpetrated by pointy headed, buzz-kill liberals, because they hate the USA, Jesus, baseball and apple pie. There, I said it!
  18. Interesting to see people posting negative experiences with the Thai medical system. I guess I was lucky. I had my man-boobs reduced there and had a great experience and have been super happy with the results. No complaints from me.
  19. For me, it's money, damnit! Just got back to the US in early October after spending the previous 6 months in Colombia and Peru. I was on the medicine trail, ayahuasca and San Pedro (Huachuma). Did a lot of good work and got much needing healing of various issues. Thank you, Madre Ayahusaca:) Once back, had to get my shit outta storage, rent a new apartment, and worst of all go back to work for the fucking courts. I need the money, so here I am, back in smell-A, working, saving money and planning my next move. Not sure when I can get back to the LOS. Would very much like to explore the possibility of working in the kingdom, but the pay is so low, and I'm not getting any younger. It's all bout money and especially how I can set myself up to live without having to worry about a fucking job, ugh. No idea yet how I'm gonna make that happen; rob a bank, play the lottery, grow weed and use the money from the grow to invest in rental property . . . I don't fucking know.
  20. I think that is a Dalek ship. "Exterminate, exterminate, exterminate!"
  21. I'm really looking forward to warp drive technology. Apparently this is being worked on right now. http://io9.com/5963263/how-nasa-will-build-its-very-first-warp-drive
  22. I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions. That said, I guess just to continue to trust life as it unfolds and not be so freaked out about the future and trying to control things. That, and to keep myself entertained in various ways, getting more into playing guitar, reading about whatever I happen to be curious about, continued adventures into transpersonal realms via various entheogens, and of course, saving up money for another trip to the LOS to get my femboy/ladyboy sex on.
