  1. PATTAYA — Cops were called in Wednesday night to apprehend a Caucasian man who went on a naked rampage in Central Pattaya. The man, who remains unidentified Thursday, was seen wandering at about midnight with a knife in his hand close to the Mae Wilai Market located downtown on Central Pattaya Road. Thongyib Chomdee, a vendor at the scene, said the man charged at several people and tried to damage property, prompting many vendors, including herself, to close down their shops and bar their doors. Police officers arrived about 20 minutes after someone alerted them and arrested the naked man. He was reportedly taken to Pattaya City Police Station to calm down. But a call Thursday morning to the police station found they had no record of the man, indicating he was likely released soon after without charge. “We don’t have any information regarding this person,” deputy commander Lt. Col. Sompan Suksamran said. http://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourtscalamity/2017/02/02/pattaya-terrorized-knife-wielding-naked-farang/

  3. I was helping a buddy search for a good flight the past few days and was using the Liligo, Gezi, and Skyscanner, all mentioned in this thread. Without a doubt, Skyscanner offers the best user experience IMHO. But probably best to heck ll three and/or others you like as not all airlines work with every airline search engine.
  4. Then this is probably Beer who worked at the Korean sex show in Pattaya. One of the things she did at the show was to bang the drum slowly with her well endowed tool. Same same Beer?

  6. This year is a very good year for us. It's the year of the golden rooster. The value of the roosters has gone up," said Banchej Changyai, 55, who was running the contest south of Bangkok on the second day of celebrations for the Lunar New Year. Each fight involves two roosters facing off in a pit. They lurch at each, inflicting damage with beaks and wings. Each round is 22 minutes long, and there can be up to six rounds depending on the roosters' endurance. "Today, the rooster brought me a lot of money. I love cockfighting, it's a hobby of mine," said Narongsak Sealee, 22, after winning 500,000 baht ($14,170) at the Thedthai cockfighting stadium in Samut Prakan province. Unlike in many countries, the Thai cocks do not fight to the death. Instead, the first bird to cower away loses. "This rooster is so good that it gives me, the owner, a great reputation and makes me very happy," said Virat Patcharaphangkorn, after buying the event's prize rooster for 2.5 million baht ($70,840). http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN15D0T9

  13. A teen girl who committed suicide by hanging herself left a suicide note for her ex-boyfriend with descriptive instructions of what he needs to do if he wants to avoid being haunted by her every night for the rest of his life. Busakorn, 19, whose last name was not released, was found hanging from the window in her Nakhon Sri Thammarat apartment on Saturday. Authorities said she was wearing a T-shirt with a photo of her and her ex-boyfriend printed on it. Sanook reported that she left three letters on the wall, one to apologize to her landlord for killing herself in the room, one to her grandma, and the last to her ex-boyfriend, called Mind, who had broken up with her. The first paragraph of the letter said “I love you so much. I cannot find someone to replace you.” But then it followed with specific requests: “Do what I say or I will haunt you every night, for the rest of your life. When I die, you must come to my funeral. You are going to wear the black T-shirt with the printed photo of us that I gave you, stay at my place on, at least, the first and last night of the funeral,” demanded the letter. “Also, make a video about me and post it on my Facebook. You must do this. You will also add the song ‘The last thing of you that I own,” in the video. The young man later posted a compilation video of their happy memories at her request. The description went: “I’m sorry for everything I’ve ever done to hurt you. Never thought this day would come. I love you” Sanook also reported that the girl’s family believes that she drank insecticide and hanged herself after a fight with Mind. http://bangkok.coconuts.co/2017/01/24/teens-suicide-note-says-she-will-haunt-her-ex-boyfriend-life-unless-he-completes-her
  14. Police catch Thai male selling drugs on Walking Street At around 8:30pm on January 16th, Pattaya police were called down to Walking Street to investigate a potential suspect, thought to be selling drugs to foreign tourists. The suspect was reported by a foreigner, who called police after he had been approached and pushed into buying some drugs, which he politely declined. Police made their way onto the scene and quietly observed the suspect, before moving in. Selling Drugs 3 of 3 They immediately searched the suspect, 26 years old and found what they were looking for. A total of 22 ‘yabaa’ tablets were found, as well as some crystal meth or ‘ice’ as it’s commonly referred to. After questioning, the suspect received that the drugs were actually his, but were fake. Instead of the suspected ‘yabaa’ and ‘ice’, he told police that they were made up of legal drugs such as paracetamol, and that he was selling them to tourists as a way of getting money to pay for his room and food. Police were not buying this excuse at all, and did not believe that the drugs were fakes. The arrested the suspect and took him down to the station for more questioning. He will be held until further tests are done on the drugs, to find out exactly what they are. Once the police have the full report, they will then proceed to file the appropriate charges against the man. http://pattayaone.news/en/selling-drugs-walking-street/

  16. BANGKOK, 19 January 2017 (NNT) - Executives of commercial banks have forecast that the baht currency will likely fluctuate more than last year mainly due to the uncertainty about the policy of the new US President. Executive of Kasikornbank Kiit Charornkitchaichana said the US politics was the key factor affecting the Thai currency during this period. This year, the baht will have a tendency to fluctuate either by depreciating and appreciating quickly. The bank therefore forecast the baht’s value this year will stay around 35-37 baht to the USD, said the executive. Meanwhile, TMB Analytics of TMB Bank has predicted that this year’s baht currency will be on the depreciation side although it appreciated against the USD in the last two weeks. This baht appreciation was the result of USD currency speculation, said the bank. TBM added that the Thai economy and other economies in the Asian region will rebound this year, leading to capital inflows. The baht will likely move between 35.50 – 36.80 baht to the USD. http://thainews.prd.go.th/website_en/news/news_detail/WNECO6001190010016
