  1. ^ At your service BB :) CM is a back water for action but if a guy lives here its no problema to collect a few numbers and by pass the bars. I like to ride and the mountain roads are great up here. I heard about a Thai joint that supposedly has a promotion for five large Leos, 199 baht, before 8 pm. I need to check that one out :) Maybe I can talk Lung Somchai into going too, his Uzi might come in handy if the situation becomes tense... 555, joke na :)
  2. Yep, a very nasty and complicated problem. I see some well intentioned government Welfare programs that had some terrible unforeseen consequences. President Johnson's Great Society program had one flaw that is one of the root causes of many current problems: To qualify for Welfare Benefits it was advantageous to be a single Mother, no man in the house to support her and the kids. But the problem is that young boys need role models and the old man around to lay down the law. A lot of these young black guys either don't know their Dads, or know them only casually and they aren't much of a positive influence on them. Then there is the rage some of these guys feel against their Mothers. Think about it, your Mom doesn't work, there are three siblings all with different Fathers and some dude stops by occasionally late at night to fuck your Mom. You're pretty much on your own and exist by acting tough and not taking any crap. Mom says be home by 10, tell her to fuck off. Bored with school, that's easy, just don't go. So Mr. Tough guy has never learned the concept of consideration for others so a cops tells him to stop walking down the middle of the street so we know how that pissing contest will turn out... On the other hand, I've heard that 10 shots were fired. WTF? Can't you just put one in the guys leg and let him go down? In times past cops walked a beat, knew the neighborhood and the people knew the cop. Todays cities are so spread out that the cops patrol with vehicles. The cops and neighborhood residents only meet when there is a problem. Not good, no good will or trust established... Let's face it, black guys are murdered every day in the USA. Usually its black on black gang related but a death is a death and its all totally unnecessary. A really nasty problem that won't go away soon because there are several generations of black guys that are mad at the world and not making positive contributions to society. Of course there needs to be opportunity for employment too. Detroit, once home to two million people now has a population of around seven hundred thousand- and not a lot of jobs. Lance says: 1 Improve intercity public schools. If kids can barely read how will they be employable? 2 Stop incentives encouraging single Moms. If you subsidize behavior, that's exactly what you'll get. 3 Make family law fair. if there is a divorce, why can't Dads have custody as well? Keep Dad's involved with their kids, don't treat them as ATMs for child support. (I believe in supporting your kids but give the Father a say in how the money is spent.) 4 Stop militarizing the police. Do cops really need armored personnel carriers? 5 Rethink foreign wars of choice. How many Americans are killed every year by terrorists? How many are killed -murdered- by their fellow Americans? As a US citizen, I'm far more likely to get whacked by some dude in the hood -or die in a traffic accident- than I am by some ISIS thug. 6 Spread the word about traveling to Thailand and banging Ladyboys. Get these dudes in the scene so that they work hard for 50 weeks of the year to spend two weeks in Pattaya, 555! Lance out :)
  3. Don't flame me guys but my prediction is that the Junta is reigning in some of the excesses. Yeah there will always be sanook -this is Thailand after all- but as I observe the new sheriff, he appears to be a no nonsense, conservative type of guy. I doubt he is impressed with the 'in your face' aspects of much of the foreign night life scene. Thai guys are notoriously naughty, but they do it discretely. My prediction is that Pattaya will slowly become more of a main stream beach/party town. The naughty scene will probably always be around, but pushed further away from Beach Road (better returns from high rise hotels) and possibly toned down a bit. Interesting times ahead :)
  4. ^ I would but doing so would blow my 'Secret Agent' cover here in CM :) I was out again yesterday evening, so I stopped at Blue Sky bar, just past Soi 1 on Moonmuang RD. Its a billiards bar but I go there for the cheap beer and no hassles. A large Leo is70 baht before 8 pm and staff is attentive, making sure you always have ice (if that's your thing) I left and thought, ah, why not stop by Shamrock Bar at the boxing ring. Just walked in the door and the heavens opened up- man it rained cats and dogs! I think the girls there are hurting -or maybe just aggressive- because I said hi to one girl and her reply was "Buy me drink!" 555! I gave her my goofy smile, acted confused and moved seats. Another gal popped down beside me, I said hi, she said hi, then followed immediately with "Buy me drink na." Me "How much for lady drink?" Her "150 baht." Me "Kid gon." (I'm thinking) I then engrossed my self in my cell phone and she wandered off, only to return periodically with her chorus "But me drink na, not expensive na." But in fairness, I've been in there before and was not asked for a drink.
  5. In my opinion a Rabies vaccination is an important one, especially here in Thailand. Most soi dogs are too lazy to bite- but not all of them :)
  6. I was out solo in CM about one week ago and things were quiet on Loi Kroh/Boxing Ring. Stopped for one at Friend's Corner and was waited on by a tall, older LB that I had met previously at Lizard (?) bar further up on Loi Kroh, nearer to the moat. I'd bought her a LD (160 baht)at her former bar and tipped her 100 baht when I left but she didn't remember me and I was cool with being unrecognized and politely ignored her :) She wasn't gonna get me for another inflated price drink, som nom na... Another LB stopped by (near shoulder length hair and heavy tattoos on the front both thighs) I'd seen her there before, and she got me some ice. She sat beside me and gave me a pretty good deep tounge French kiss. Well that was a positive development so I bought her a drink. She was delighted and rewarded me with another smacker, then whispered in my ear "I like you suck my big cock and I fuck your ass!" Ah geez, the romance went out of that little encounter :) She was fun to talk to so after we finished our drinks I check binned and the tab was a reasonable 240 baht for my large Leo and her Sang Som and coke. 120 baht is the correct price for a LD in my opinion, especially in a relative LB back water town like Chiang Mai- but some bars are really proud of their establishments and charge accordingly :) Next I called in at Shamrock Bar and there was a tall (5'10"?) young LB there that I'd exchanged Line info with and she clocked me, even though she was sitting with another guy and fawning all over him. The Line messages began "Wait me, I want talk to you!" I was amused because its all a big game and the girls are always scouting for their next victim, I mean customer, 555! I was just relaxing and taking in the show, content to observe, then the guy check bins and she pounces on me. She is a cutie, I'll give her that and seems new to the scene. I buy her a LD (140 baht whiskey & coke) and I did enjoy talking/flirting with her. I finish my drink and call for the bill and she has a blank look, batting her lovely eyes and exclaiming "You no take me?" "No darling, tonight I sleep alone na." I'm still getting Line messages from her. And I really think I'm the only name in her Line directory as well :) Pretty exciting up her in Chiang Mai guys, 555!
  7. I once picked up a GG in a Pattaya music bar that gave me such a GFE that I was in the dilemma BB describes: I don't want to insult this girl, but... I put a 1,000 baht note around her cell phone. Needless to say, she was delighted. I've also 'dated' a couple of TF LBs, took them to eat, dancing, then for some boom boom. Said hello again on TF and got kicked to the curb with the: "Not say hi me, you not give me money" If nothing else the Thais are pragmatic; money is most always appreciated. Just be a gent
  8. ^ +1 Yeah, we all have fellow country men that don't make us proud :) Up here in Chiang Mai, the Thais were so upset with the Chinese flocking to Chiang Mai University that supposedly they initiated an entry fee to discourage them from entering. I have to chuckle because TAT targeted the Chinese and Russians, seeking to increase their arrival numbers, you know, in the vein of 'quality' tourists. I've said it before: Be carful what you ask for, 555!
  9. I love the Russians and Chinese- they make we Americans look good :)
  10. You are not really a newbie Billy, you know the scene pretty well :) Having said that Lung is a stand up guy and knowledgeable about what goes down in Thailand. We can all get along if we want to :)
  11. I too thank the big spenders for throwing their money around. I figure a GG/LB needs a certain amount of money to survive -don't we all- and if she gets 95% of it from guys flush with cash, she will be more likely to agree to my value for money price. If she is into me at all, that is :)
  12. Yep, Thailand has become over touristed; the Philippines gets only a small fraction of visitors. Fewer foreigners is your friend :)
  13. Hey! Can not say like this! Can Not! 555! Joke buddy :) The happiest guys I meet are the ones that split their time between Asia and home. I'm fast coming to the conclusion that Thailand is a better place to visit than to live :)
  14. That's the spirit, 555! For me, I could care less. They either like you- or they don't :)
  15. OK, I'll bite :) Beauty- Slight edge to Thai LBs, probably from taking hormones at an early age Body- I prefer natural tits, so slight edge to Pinays Communication- Pinays big advantage. Thai LBs in general speak better English than Thai GGs. IMHO. Honesty- I'll get flamed, but in the vein of better 'communication' a few Pinays -both GGs and LBs- have really told me some whoppers. I knew they were BSing me, but I thought to my self, its a pretty amazing and plausible BS, 555. Hygene- depends on the person, but Thais in general are squeaky clean. I think showering is one of their hobbies, along with sleeping and eating, 555!
  16. See how you are Lung? You promised you wouldn't tell on me, 555!
  17. Naa, I say fuck all of them as long as they have long hair, live as a woman and are reasonably feminine :) Banging GGs doubles my chances of getting laid 555 :)
  18. Hey young fella, I got a beer that says you stroll past a few beer bars and you will be hailed as YOUNG Man, come inside! (or my personal favorite, come inside me please, 555!) Back OT, yeah funny the locals pick the lowest low season ever to implement stricter rules. My hunch is that the Junta is playing politics, pandering to the locals. Xenophobic rhetoric always useful to divert attention from the elephant in the room :)
  19. ^ I like his videos; he will actually call a spade a spade :) On the one hand all countries are entitled to enforce their Immigration laws as they see fit. On the other, some guys younger than 50 don't have that many options to remain in Thailand long term. The ones I know of are: 1 Ed visa. But can you be a student forever? 2 Going back home and getting a 12 month Non Imm O. Good luck with that. 3 Thailand Advantage card. Very pricey, no thanks. Yeah, some guys are working here illegally, but often in a field where they are not poaching jobs from the locals, such as a freelance architect, designing buildings in say Germany; day traders; authors, etc. Many expats spend money and support the economy. Expat earns 100,000 per month, spends it all and pays 7,000 THB in VAT (7%). Some Chai earns 10,000 THB per month and pays 700 THB Vat. Which guy supports the local econmy and government more? Strange timing since over all tourism is down. I'd say we've worn out our welcome :) You heard it first from Lance, 555!
  20. On second thought Spike, I'm not gonna drop by, cause if I do I might get married, 555. (Joke na) Really nice talent Buddy :)
  21. So much for the universal LB refrain 'I not like laaadeee!'
  22. I got a better idea- you go alone, then we meet up at another location, I buy you a beer and you regal me with tales of your adventure :)
  23. Nice talent there Spike, compliments. Next time I'm in Pattaya I'll drop by and say hello
  24. And BB makes a good point as well. Just because some of the popular bars get rave reviews doesn't mean that a newbie will get a really warm welcome and hassle free visit. Bars in Thailand can be very hit and miss; the vibe can change from day to day and some times even from hour to hour. My advise for newbies is sure read the forums, but trust your gut and form your own opinions. The one exception is High Boss- you couldn't pay me to go in there again. I posted that on another forum and got flamed by several "admirers" of the joint. I know what I know, that's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

Interesting. When I listen to them speaking Thai they usually refer to the Ruskies as farang. In any case, I wouldn't want to be here if the rebels had shot down a Thai Airways flight. I doubt the locals would actually check nationalities before taking revenge. Pretty much any white long nose would do, but YMMV :)
