Hi fellas! After a long holiday from LBR I'm pleased to be back keeping you informed of what's going down in our end of Soi MiT!

Your post is atypical of your approach to anything I put on the forum; I view it as an attempt of forum bullying to stop any input I may wish to make. So guess what, just for you I'll restart the Newbar thread to keep everyone informed of whats going on at our end of Soi MiT. Thankyou very much.

Lets call it 'Shed Town'... The condenced version; Covid hit, everything closed, management company didn't charge rent. Land owner asked where his money was for the last few years...his cousin ran the management company, bit of a falling out so he pulled it all down; there were bars there folk had just paid 1m thb for. Alledegedly put up for sale but no one will sell prime real estate in Patts if they have any sense. They were looking for a 25 year lease with 100% investment; there was no intention to sell. So...another management company arose with a plan; divide it into 50 lots. 50k initial deposit, once construction started 100k, then 300k key money. The math; 2.5m from deposits paid for things to get going, 5m to build the bars, 15m from key money which I'm guessing will go straight to the Land Owner for rent of the area. The Dodgy Gits Several Soi 7 ladies bar owners bought multiple units which they've since rebranded & are asking 900k takeover plus everything else... First concrete pour yesterday...

It’s a self defeating policy that sends a negative message. I understand the ethos behind it by boosting the guys fairly low salary but for every guy that would have normally bought the fella a drink there’s now going to be many that simply won’t.

I'm saddened that information regarding the passing of a lovely person many of us knew well has invoked some negative response, this actually reflects back on the BM's who obviously never knew her though chose to make such ignorant comments. Krit was a fantastic enthusiastic lively person, turned her back on the bright life & started up a dress making business. In the last 4 years she took care of her sick mother until she died last month. Krit went downhill fast after that. The cause of death was listed as lung disease, a medical fact & not a personal opinion. Again, sleep well bright girl.

Her mum died last month & Ice had been looking after her for the last 4 years; it's listed as lung disease as Ice was a smoker it fits. we're heading up tomorrow for the final ceremony. Farewell bright girl.

A lovely person has just passed, Big Ice formerly a 69 star more recently Why Not in BKK and her own dress making business. She was a personal friend & always made us happy with her bubbly presence & quick wit. Bless you Ice. Pic from Ying's FB.

I read it yesterday, saddened, disgusted and ashamed.

Many relationships fail for the usual reasons, sometimes folk just get fed up with each other after a while. I seen the video a few years back and it atypical of how a bar girl traps her prey, gets what she wants, then said benefactor is spurned ready for the next victim. They are far more practical & better at it than us mere Farangs. We've all heard the horror stories so more fool us if we get caned. I've personally never understood the part where the seed is planted that it's a good idea to build the house in her village... In saying that there are fellas who have settled with their partners in the boonies and are quite content with their lot, good on them.

We had a couple of BKK girls in last night who told us that all BKK bars were closed and Pattaya would be today. Read the news this morning to learn it was just a few clubs. There's an announcement coming soon following meetings and decisions made today. Latest news feeds state that the virus is still second phase here.

I really enjoy photography and in particular...pics of Thai ladyboys currently on the ground in Pattaya. Patty in Sweethearts floats my wee boat, Lily in TJ's is a star, Benz in Newbar makes me swoon, Cyndi in La Bumbar has always caught my heart, there's one in Sensations I'd marry...we could go on.
