  1. Not so expensive down Rowell Road for a short time...unless you break it down to $$/minute then Little India is expensive, I reckon I had about the shortest short time ever there. Not complaining though, I left the wife browsing in Mustapha's department store and was back with her before she missed me
  2. Message for Soul brother Jim: Did you notice a mutual friend of ours on the Pating Ladyboys clip, at about 9:36min. Think 131
  3. Here's the plan Dave: Make a montage of all these young lads in frocks, plaster them all over the walls of the Gents, then let it be known the next "Pub outing" is to Pattaya, by the time you close the bookings, you will have enough punters signed up tha you will clean up when you have got the best rates for a Thomsons Jumbo charter and the whole of hotel rate at the PBR. Let me know nearer the time and I'll see what rate I can get from Mr. T for the Airport transfers....and don't forget who gave you the idea
  4. My vsits seem to be getting shorter and possibly less freqent, but I will do my best to get there again in early November. Maybe Kliome's Birthday at Paeng's Bar next time Best of luck to you both for a sucessful venture in Action Street. That is PBR in te background of some of the pics isn't it? Perhaps the management could be persuaded to knock a hole in the back wall for easy acess, really, no pun intended.
  5. Like Azza, I never noticed the shadows, too busy eating it up It was about 2005 that I finally made my first solo trip in search of LB's On that occasion Lusi Mustang took care of my cherry and from then on it was all down hill to the "dark side" :happy0065:
  6. Thanks so much Jai Dee, a remarkable tale, glad you have a long winded style it enhances the "flavour". Thanks also for those nostalgic links to what seems now like another age.
  7. A great inteoduction, a lurker maybe, but not a newbie. Remember to pm TT Chang, he will certainly introduce you to every one who's anyone around Guess bar and the Nana cultural centre.
  8. Unfortunately I won't be there, but I will think of you as I heve my own little private shiraz tsunami at home on Saturday night. Say a big hello to Moo for me. Cheers,
  9. Just to echo what others have already said, a fantastic read Jai Dee, your story is unique, but so many similarities for us all. As BB said above that realisation that we are not alone, is a great thing, even better when we later meet so many good "same same" guys in the flesh. I'm really looking forward to each new installment.
  10. For someone not from our green and pleasant land, you do have a way with the language
  11. Hi BB, I haven't visited the forum for a couple of months, slap wrists. If a regular Wednesday night gets going I should be in attendance on 28th of this month, trying to organise a two night stop over en route home from China, als should be in BKK for one night only on 24th.
  12. Happy Birthday Kung, Let's hope management are kicking a bit in, not to mention all those BM's that are still in town. Hopefully BB has not decamped to Cambodia yet and will record the event, Kung is a nice person, I've always looked up to her
  13. Not sure I would descibe Germany as "largely socialist" Compared to the US all western countries have more government involvement i.e. welfare state and even the odd remaining nationalised industry, like rail in much of continental Europe, but they remain capitalist countries, at least to Europen eyes, of course Europeans were non plussed when Obama was branded a socialist for trying to introduce a system of universal Health care.
  14. You're right hound, here's the link: My link Not sure if it's the same Thaivisa folk that think LB's are the devil's work, but many of them do.
  15. Yes I was sorry we didn't meet hound, Lung was introduced to me later in the evening and we had a good yak. I am in China now, but head back to Pattaya tomorrow, I was supposed to be back in Chiang mai on the night of the 3rd, for dental work, but I've just changed plans, now Chiang Mai will just be a daytrip, enough time for a bite of lunch with you know who, followed by an hour and a half of less pleasant probing and I'm on a 1730 flight back to BKK and then the Big bash. I'm sure Lung told me you would be at the party so it would be great to say hello, you have the advantage of knowing what I look like so I can leave the rolled up copy of the Bangkok Post and the white carnation at home. I must say you sound like an argumentative Lancastrian cunt with right wing leanings. That's fine, I was married to one of those (Burnley) for 17 years, although her only leanings were towards the bar. :diablo:
  16. You forgot to mention the seconday sell....not "do you want fries with that", "but and one drink for Marina" Yes I always get the impression that most of the girls are scared of Marina, my friend an old hand, is probably the exception, she told me don't give into the constant drink requests, let me manage that! It is the Old slappers Birthday party tonight, she told me that she expects 200 people, it's probably the only way to get their own back, at least there will be free food.
  17. Said to be the same management as Guess Bar and apparently to open now on 1st November....Yipee, I won't miss it
  18. That's great news....except my next flying visit to Pattaya ends on the morning of 3rd November :growl:
  19. I'm getting a bit worried about me. Guitar seems to enjoy almost universal praise, but she really doesn't do it for me, maybe she has more appeal in person, but I think I'll stick with King Kung
  20. Patrick

    Corner Bar

Yes sad news, I'm glad that I will be able to make my first visit in two weeks time, got a spare rod BB?
  21. For me it is usually that mind numbing Tai pop music, but one night walking down Soi Diana with my best girlyboy on my arm, this ripper seemed to be coming from every bar, an hour later I was screaming for Mercy...nice one Lek
  22. Onyer Soulboy....mind if we call yer Paddy
  23. Thai visa, Chiang Mai sub forum has been in meltdown for the last 24 hours. I suppose you can excuse the fact the students are ignorant of the background history, but it would seem a bit improbable that this fairly elaborate show did not involve some input from teachers and/or parents, if so that would be an inexcusable situation.
  24. See the post above, I mentioned she is now in Phuket. Cheers, Patrick
  25. Just visited my Leeds United forum (Leeds United Mad) they've started a Northern Soul thread too. Apologies if I post any duplicates: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5bzi_sbyNQ&feature=related
