  1. And the others were Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and I think George Harrison.
  2. The Travelling Wilburys (not exactly sure of the spelling there) was the super group Roy was part of
  3. I've been ringside at a cock fighting venue, and to me its a very cruel "sport". It was interesting to watch the other patrons, their excitement (or dismay) and the betting. But not for me. But cock fighting in the bedroom - now thats a sport !
  4. Yes fair point, Topcat. I was looking at it from the point of view that the guy may only be here a short time, and spends his time with his new GF. So, he calls her his GF. When the holiday ends, but the fantasy doesn't .... yes, I agree with you.
  5. I only clicked onto this thread by accident and I'm still smiling. These last 2 posts (SiamSam and Tomcat) are just brilliant and have lifted my spirits on a dismal Bangkok rainy evening. Thanks, guys.
  6. Easy to be cynical; geez, I'm as cynical as anyone, but I think it can work ok if you can accept a certain flexibility in the relationship. If a guy goes in (no pun intended) with his eyes shut, then yes, hurt may be only a step away. But in the right circumstances, with the right couple, I think its possible. And again, depending on that relationship and the people in it, determines if it will last. But lasting was not the question - if its two people spending time together, even p4p, why not be BF & GF? Individual choice.
  7. Yes, The Doors took their name from a book title "The Doors of Perception" by Aldous Huxley. (and I believe even that came from a quotation by someone else). There is an Australian blues band THE BONDI CIGARS, who took their name from the sewage outflow at Bondi with reference to the turds floating in the sea from said outflow. Interesting idea for a thread Sam.
  8. Getting old(er) and slowing down, obviously, but once the brain kicked into gear - those Halloween Costumes! BB, just magic! I'm glad the "Naughty Schoolgirl" costume is still available - its easily the best one there.
  9. In answer to your question, RamenD, I don't know from first hand, but on Craigslist Bangkok today there is a ladyboy (name Nana, I believe) who says she has a small one "that you will love" (or words to that effect). The advert says she is 25, and she looks rather nice in a pink dress. I hope that helps; and welcome to the forum too.
  10. I read the title of this thread, and the comments as well, but I just thought it would be a case of poor translation - but when the subtitles started ..... bloody hell. Yes, I'd like to know what they really said too, but it couldn't match these subtitles! On the serious side, she really does have talent IMHO.
  11. Absolutely - what a brilliant idea - I'd feel so much safer with a wristband on! Seriously, anything that limits a tourist's freedom will have a negative impact on the very people Thailand needs to be encouraged to come here. And a "buddy system"? Electronic tracking? How about "glow in the dark" condoms so you can see where you are going? (or cumming)? I'm sure we all are saddened by the latest murders - no joking there of course - but if steps are to be taken, they need to be clearly thought through before rushing into print with at best some half-baked suggestions.
  12. I wouldn't have the balls to shout that, BB. But I really must get out more often - talent aplenty.

    BDSM

This is an interesting topic, and I have sometimes thought about it. But it is not for me - I'm into enjoyment (mutual enjoyment if possible) without pain. I voted #4. As such I would choose someone who seems to fit this style, and thats where a ladydrink or two is good, to try to size up what lies ahead, through conversation and a general impression.
  14. I can relax more in a bar; less pressure and more enjoyable. I find it easier to talk with the ladies there too.
  15. I agree with you, seven. I'm sure she has a huge fan base, but IMO the voice doesn't match the view. I'll pass on the concert.
  16. Geeez, you could give yourself a heart attack with a sudden dowsing of ice water, especially at my age. Give to charity by all means, but be sensible about it.
  17. Alex, that is a very well written post, and while I support Chris with his version of events, I must say I admire the way you have responded. Darkside is great, and I agree with Stoolpusher on his post as well. Best of luck to both parties for the future.
  18. The law is one thing, but the real people affected deserve better. Thankfully not all Australians are the same as the couple responsible; and the agents need looking into as well.
  19. Lefty and KenW have said it all. So why worry? Just enjoy, because we do only have one life (as far as I know).
  20. Yes, lance, agreed. Sometimes I get the feeling that they can't see the wood for the trees. I live here now on a retirement visa, so less of a problem for me, (except I'm old 555) but a big percentage of my income is spent in Thailand. Yes, any country is entitled to enforce their own rules, but when its a low season for tourism for so long, there ought to be more consideration for genuine tourists to encourage them to stay/come again, with less hassles.
  21. Oh yessss - I can see the pics, thank you. Anytime you want something checked out, just ask, lol
  22. Absolutely no offence taken. Thanks for your reply, route67.
  23. Yes route67, agreed. (sorry I'll have to learn how to do quotes). " MY skin" would've been nicer, but at least she was thinking of me. BTW, I do enjoy reading your comments on many topics (just thought I'd add that).
  24. Lung - you facetious? never!! Its just that I am a philistine, obviously, and can't help myself when it comes to skin colour. I understand your serious comments too, rx, and the dangers of too much sun. But I do like the dark skin on a lb ...
  25. There can be exceptions, of course, but as a general rule its the darker skin for me too.
