Jimmiti, If this is your first visit to Asia, and one of your main goals is to shag as many lbs as possible, Myanmar is not a good choice for a first visit. If you're after adventure, with lbs being a lower priority - then it might be ok. You should know the Myanmar is not well set up for tourism and is only now developing following decades of isolation and suppression by their military dictatorship. If you're an experienced traveler well used to going off the beaten track to countries with less developed tourism infrastructure that would help a lot, but you cannot expect lbs all over the place like Thailand.

BB, I know you can get the keyboard easily fixed for low cost in LOS. It will be quite pricey to fix in the UK. As a temporary measure, you can buy an external keyboard and mouse and use those until you get back to LOS. If you dropped/spilled anything on the keyboard, it may be possible to clean it depending on what the substance is. You can google for the correct procedure.

Woofer1, that photo is of Lio (Cleo/Leo) and she is postop. She has also been with Calypso many years, but not as long as Tuk Tik. Don't be too biased against postops, some can be quite fine experiences! However, in the case of Lio - there has been a couple of reports she has a Diva attitude and takes advantage by asking friends to go along for dinner (if you go that route). Also may be quite a bit more pricey than a regular bargirl. However, this is probably the case for a cabaret showgirl if she is a "star". The banana belts in the new show light up! One of the issues with rating performance is that "YMMV" in many cases. It can make expectations unrealistic for a first time encounter if someone posts that "she gave me the most fantastic ___________" fill in the blank. With any human interaction, especially when it comes to sex, chemistry is the mysterious ingredient that can make it fantastic or forgettable. The expectation that if you pay someone they will perform well enough to "rock your universe" is unreasonable, if there is no chemistry - no matter how much you pay her. We've seen reports where "she didn't do it for me the second time, I saw her, etc." My suggestion, especially for newbies, is to ignore the performance reports, and see how the chemistry works between you and your possible companion of choice. As Dixon has commented it isn't always the "superstars" who provide the best experience. Of course for this to work, it would also mean you probably shouldn't have your judgement too impaired. However, if you see reports about someone "ripping" off customers regularly, that is something different.

While I would say it may be possible, I don't think it is a major contribution to the total number of lbs in LOS. The above photos are of Oil. She has a Turkish father and a Thai mother. She was 2nd runner up in the Miss Tiffany Universe 2007 contest, and also in Miss Cascade. She use to work in Casanova Bar, and then moved to Cascade Bar. She was working in the bars part time, while studying at university, earning money to pay for her hormones, operations, makeup, and support her mother (father had dropped out of their lives). She has disappeared from the p4p scene I have met a few other Thai/farang lbs as well, but they are still in the minority of the total number of lbs in LOS. Also there is certainly discrimination against lbs that make it very difficult for them to obtain higher paying jobs. So, is it exploitation? If they could get good paying jobs, I think there would be significantly less lbs in p4p than there are now in LOS. I'm not being morally righteous, but it is something to think about.

Hard1, it is actually quite easy. This is probably the most secure way to post your photos and not have them shared with lbs. Once your private area is set up with an initial list of people you trust, start posting away! It could be other members you have met on your LOS trips, or trusted members from another forum.

I agree KenW, it's an important part of many people's lives now. There is a solution to this, as I face a similar problem when I visit my parents - they don't have internet since they've never used it and don't want to learn (age the ages of 86 and 81 - I'm not going to press the issue!). Many ISPs will offer a prepaid combination of USB Wireless Modem stick and sim card. I'm attaching a screen grab example from T-Mobile. In the early days, most people didn't secure their wifi routers and one could easily poach a signal, but those days are pretty much gone. Using the mobile internet stick is a good option for a reasonable cost. The only drawback is the speed isn't as fast, but it's still much better than the old days of dial up.

The real truth is probably somewhere in between. Not an angel, and not a demon. The real measure would be was Venezuela better off before he took over? In some respects it was - and in others it was not. The poor are better off, but is the country's development better? Are there more opportunities for people in general? I think it is a bit of a wash, but things don't look too bright economically for them. High inflation, no real diversification from oil, the loss of people who could innovate. What will happen to the country once the oil revenues decrease - there doesn't seem to be any provision for that.
