You know he was a real smart Alec ? Only just seen this Pixies were one of my favourite bands I saw them in Ireland in 1991 just before they split Black Francis screaming from a PA loudhailer they were something else . Not too keen on their new material since they reformed , hard to capture that old edge again .

Depends who I'm with , I have my favourites who I always like to stay longtime nothing beats a little cute one you like cuddled up in your arms in the morning when you are poking them in the back with a rampant morning wood . Similarly I have other favourites who even though they are dynamite in bed a couple of hours in their company is just enough . One consideration in all this is someones sleeping patterns , if they want to stay awake all night with the TV blaring then sleep all next day that's a nuscience as it upsets my plans . I like to get up and get out to the beach so if I'm with a vampire ladyboy who I know well enough I give them the option of sleeping on in the room when I'm away or taking the option of going out in the dreaded sunlight .

I spent a few nights in Bangkok on my very first trip to Thailand in 2005 and wasn't very impressed , after a couple of weeks relaxing in Koh Samui there seemed to be too much hassle and too many people trying to rip you off . Not long afterwards though I discovered the wonderful world of the ladyboy forum and quickly realized the majority of ladyboys I lusted after were based in Bangkok , in the bars of Nana and the newly opened Guess Bar . And so I vowed to give Bangkok another go on one of my trips . That was July 2007 and I haven't looked back since , it was probably my best Thai holiday and I spent 50% of my time in Bangkok I've been back for at least 3 days every trip since and wouldn't miss it now . My first Guess Bar experience was with Jane (sister of Jay ) who was fantastic , the only downside was no one else in the bar would approach me afterwards .... she clearly was the leader of the pack . Luckily for me though one night I got there early and she was already barfined .... I loved the original venue in Soi 1 , it was never quite the same when it had to move . Some good nights in both venues however , it was always a good meeting point to start and end the night .

Bia or Beer is in Phuket now . Joy , Pear and Ohm are all post op . Joy has been home a long time and I haven't seen the other two in about four years . Fern and Nan pop up every once in a while in Bangkok . Jane (sister of Jay) seemed to disappear completely . My favourite from that era was Prang (far left with the tattoo on her belly ) I'd love to bump into her again .

I've just watched Shemale Idols 7 does this count ? I would thoroughly recommend it , not a great plot but plenty of action .

In my 10 years of coming to Thailand this has always been a mystery to me . The best I've seen is 73 Baht to the English Pound (in 2005) the worst was 45 Baht (in 2013) I thought things were heading in the right direction earlier in 2014 when I was getting 55 Baht to the Pound now it has slipped back under the 50 mark . I'm careful with my money now I've had to be since 2008 , anything over 50 is a bonus anything under and things get tight .

They certainly aren't . Same as any city in the world drink prices will range from dirt cheap to extortionate depending on where you drink and what you want to drink . Nana Go Gos are expensive places to drink some quiet bar 10 mins walk away will be cheap .

Wear a different disguise each time , say a different hat or wig and a false mustache . Then back in the room da da ! All can be revealed .

Looks like it ! The pound has been gradually slipping against the Baht for the last 6 months its down to around 50 again now . How the Baht stays strong is one of the mysteries of the universe , in a country that stumbles from one crisis and coup to another it doesn't seem to vary much . I gave up years ago

That's true for sure , an idiot is an idiot no matter what environment . To be honest RX I think you over estimate the misbehaviour of tourists and the Thai reaction . I've seen Magaluf in Majorca in the late 80's/early 90's , Malia in Crete , Kavos in Corfu ,Playa das Americas in Tenerife same era and I'm not exaggerating to say it was crazy , you had gangs of people running amok smashing up bars and riot police on the streets . I remember a blackout in Magaluf and the holiday makers robbed the shops and rioted with the cops . The point is all these places survived and pretty much reinvented themselves , Thailand has never suffered that to my knowledge . Thailand will have to reinvent itself as a Holiday destination in the future all the publicity over the last few years has been negative . Oh and as a side note if you misbehaved in the Philippines I've no doubt someone would shoot you , they seem to like their guns there

To be honest I think the problem began with the recession . The old style of tourist - British , European , American all but disappeared or at least their numbers dwindled . These were the people who drank in bars and spent their money in bars , its still that way just in lesser numbers . The tourists who replaced them - Russians , Indian's, Chinese etc just don't seem to have the same bar culture , that may or may not be a good thing but in resorts based solely on entertainment its gonna hit business . I believe in an ever shrinking market the Thai's have got greedy , prices have gone up instead of putting on offers , bill padding , rip offs and bad attitudes are all too common now , instead of encouraging people into bars many seem more content to make a fast buck and alienate them . Too many people believe we owe them a living . There have always been badly behaved drunks in Thailand the English lager lout or the American sailor has just been replaced with a clueless Russian , I don't believe that's the cause . That said I still love the place but its changing but then again in this world nothing stay's the same forever
