  1. You're right pdoggg. There's been much speculation but finally a reasonable source to link to on this subject: http://www.pattayamail.com/news/army-formalizes-baht-bus-routes-cuts-fares-159701

  2. I dont think ThaiFriendly will affect the bar scene that much... its to hit and miss if you ask me I had a new date 4 days ago and she could not make it and tonight i get a LINE message , "cant come out but send 3000 please as have no money " ....... Wow, i mean ,i never even met this bitch and she lives in Bangkok but wants me to transfer the bahts and no meet up. Cascades to close by July is my prediction

  3. Baht bus drivers might then seek for employment from the army and run even at 5 baht. at the end of the day they are private enterprises. maybe it is not a good sign, and doubling seems a lot, but FFS we talk about a twenty baht ride... are we going to see trip cancellations now? 7-11 will then suffer dramatically as probably those cancelling for the baht bus fare increase are their key customers too.

  4. 2016 was a year of extreme lows and highs. Lost a few family members but the highlight was adding a new family member. My wife.

  6. Bretto's is showing in street view under it's previous name of Paradise Beer Garden. When in AC early November there were only 2 or 3 ladyboys inside when I visited with most congregating outside Phillies. The article in Philippines Red Cat is a general summary, you may note that 2 of the girls in the video appear in my trip reports 'March in the Philippines'. I note, however, the article's first pic is actually taken outside Makati Palace Hotel in Manila!!!!

  8. I stay in Indra Place, Baiyoke suites which has no sex, maybe 1 or 2 hookers loitering in the streets but no bars, no pubs. Clean for family i think

  9. Whenever I go to Bangkok I stay at the Natural Ville Residence in Soi Langsuan. This is north of Lumpini Park on the soi that leads to it. The rooms are luxurious, it has secure covered parking as I drive there and an awesome equipped gym and swimming pool plus the coffee shop is facing the main soi so people watching is a must. There are a number of excellent healthy food choices in easy walking distance. I wont pay Bkk prices so don't bother with tricks there as I have a regular girl that enjoys a cuddle when I'm in town. The highway is easy to get too aswell so easy to get to Pattaya and enjoy stretching the expat budget to its limit.

  10. Anybody interested google has street view of AC, seems from around Aug 2015 judging by signs up. Here's Bretto's which apparently has a lot of ladyboys according to this account: http://www.philippinesredcat.com/ladyboys-in-angeles/ https://www.google.com/maps/@15.1674509,120.5892292,3a,75y,135.75h,77.64t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sL7Dlj6xBEe0YHHDcYf3m8A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 And here's Phillie's at the other end of Walking St https://www.google.com/maps/@15.167123,120.586139,3a,75y,237.32h,81.47t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sW21CZJYKkrRu23vCP5H2Xg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
