So flew to KL from Manila for only $130 return airfare. You can get a large apartment off Airbnb within walking distance of Changkat Bukit Bintang for about $35-40/night. Drunken idiocy is also the reason a lot of clubs have insanely expensive drinks, because they don't want out of control drunks in there like that Russian goof punching cars. When I was in Veracruz, Mexico they had a plaza full of bars where other Mexican tourists went to get drunk.
