duke007 Posted October 13, 2012 Share Posted October 13, 2012 I've hesitated a few days before opening my big mouth, but it certainly seems like the worst Low Season of all time is finally over. Thank God ! And currently running at twice the pace of the last 3 months, which were truly fucking awful. Although it has to be said, it still doesn't look like the place is exactly falling down with europeans. We're very fortunate in Phuket to have direct flights from Singapore, which of course isn't suffering the same plight as most of the rest of the world. Its these higher earning individuals that are forming the lifeblood of our bar just now. A weekend in one of Thailand's playgrounds is so easy for them. Anyway, lets hope the worst is behind us, and get on with a few pictures. But first a thank you to inmarset who brought over a pot of Harrods marmalade. We're busy preparing for our conquest of P*****a, which is giving me a nervous breakdown ! I will never ever ever again try to organise an outing involving both staff and customers! Deep respect to Karl & Lita who managed to stage many Road Trips without seeming to have too many problems. Fantastic time at the volleyball, and you can see some pictures on the separate thread. Amazingly the girls were on time - in fact they were early for everything!!! They were very excited and have since asked me if we can do it again next year! It certainly was a great time. Easily the best event i've been to. I don't think streetwalker's nerves will stand doing it again next year, but hopefully we can persuade him to do it the year after. Unless somebody else can step into the breach? Just thought i'd put up a few snaps from Patricia's party. They're of Kiss Bar who's cabaret team gave a special show.
