bumblebee
Good to hear your experience was positive about the place. It is perhaps my favourite place in Los. The draw of Pattaya for me is that I know so many guys will be in town, but if that was the case in HH I'd stay there much longer. It does not take long to become known around the sois of HH, both a blessing and a curse lol. but for me that adds to the relaxing, community feeling I don't get elsewhere in the kingdom. Glad you made it there finally, many guys say they must check it out, but they never seem to get round to it. I have been singing it praises for a while now, is certainly suits an easy going, laid back minded type of person. Quote Link to comment
JaiDee
Yes, by all means people should check it out, especially if they have a long time in Thailand. I can understand a new guy wanting to visit only Pattaya and BKK if they want non-stop action and sex; but as Bumblebee says, if you like a laid-back spot and have some free time to kill, do check out Hua Hin. I know I will go back some day! Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
As I mentioned on the Natalie thread, I'll post a few photos of my first LB experience in HH. I had been in Hua Hin once before for a few days on my first trip back in 2002 and really liked it. So when I got back to Los in October 2004 I decided to head there and check it out for a bit longer. I really did not know what to expect LB wise, but as luck would have it, on my second night there, there was a fashion show in the Hilton for Halloween with some LB models. Well I thought I need to get my hands on one of those, and like all good things in Los it came to pass. First some pics from the show, then Nok, one of the local models. Ah the innocence of those early years. Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
As you will notice in the previous photo, Nok has her hand on her hip. Well this is to hide a small gash. According to Nok, she had been working in Nana Plaza and some LB shot her in the ass with a small pistol. The bullet only grazed her ass luckily enough. I'll let you guys decide if it's true or not. I wouldn't mind grazing on that arse....great pic BB-very informative account of HH...I 'll definitely consider it for future....what does a decent GH cost there BB,?I heard HH is expensive ,being that the King has a house there and lots of hi-so Thais Quote Link to comment

HH is no more expensive that Pattaya really. The only difference would be HH does not have cheap expat bars with beer for 40 Baht or so like you find in Patts. Most bars in the main area charge 65 to 80B a beer. Also there aren't the abundant cheap farang eating places like you would find on and around the soi Buakhao area in Pattaya for example, but they are some around town. Overall if pushed and considering what I have said above I'd say HH is about 5 to 10% more expensive than Patts if you didn't know where to find good value places to eat. I'll do an update shortly. bumblebee
Spent a very pleasant few days in HH in the company of Foggy, RocketSquirrel, Route67 and FanofTS last week. The latter 3 were there for the first time and all seemed to be happy with their first impressions. Here are a few shots of the train station, a very nice intro to HH if you arrive by train. 1 Quote Link to comment
RocketSquirrel
I really enjoyed our trip to Hua Hin. It was the perfect "antidote" to spending many days in Pattaya this trip! Thanks for being a good tour guide :) Quote Link to comment

SiamSam
Rocky, I stayed at the Hilton last December and my room had the exact same view of HH to the north. I liked the place a lot. Great location and overall good facility. BTW, I always wear my helmet when I go fishing also. Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
Some wonderful captures there Rocket, good to see someone else enjoying what HH has to offer. Sorry no photos of Rinn, come to think of it I didn't take many photos at all in Caddy Shack. Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
The LB scene in HH last week was perhaps the weakest I have seen in a few years now. Sure there were the usual suspects around and to anyone new in town any one of these would suffice for a naughty encounter. But there was no noticeable new eye candy about, the wild cards that I have spotted on previous trips. Caddy Shack was its usual LB central, but besides that, there just wasn't anyone new in the other bars to spark any interest from me. The Blue Angel cabaret appears to be no more also. 1 Quote Link to comment

deepthroat
Very nice stuff! It's funny, after this last trip and hanging out with a bunch of you guys a lot more than in previous visits, I'm really excited to start to see more of Thailand in the future, and this is a perfect starting point. If the LB scene is rather low-key, is there at least a good GG bj bar in town? I could survive on that if need be. Quote Link to comment

That now is gone. I am unaware of any dedicated BJ bars in town just now, maybe some of the other guys who were there recently discovered some places. Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
For beach lovers HH has a good 5 km stretch of sand, excellent for walking when the tide is out. 1 Quote Link to comment

Foggy
It was a pleasure to make the trip to Hua Hin again and meet a few more esteemed BM's. I too was a little disapointed with the LB action there as I remember it being livelier before but thankfully was not the only reason for my visit. Do u mean this Rinn RS ? She's a good one for sure  Quote Link to comment

She's a good one for sure  It was great to meet you on this trip Foggy and also great to hear about your travels. Now I'm confused about Rinn. For some reason I thought Rinn was that was rather siliconed, veneered, and otherwise worked upon. Not sure if your photo is is actually the "love of my life". BB, do you know who the love of my life is??? She was sitting in the bar across from Caddyshack on day 1. Foggy, the photo you posted above, I like her too! Quote Link to comment
bumblebee
Rocky I think you are referring to Lay/Ray, she had the white teeth, silicones etc. This was her 2 years ago. Quote Link to comment
SiamSam
I looked like that 2 years ago also. Rocky took a shine to me then but he hasn't written recently. Quote Link to comment
