pdogg
How do you get to the airport in Bangkok? My first choice is the Bell Bus. How do you get to the airport back home? Guess there's lots of ways depending on the city. Our friends over at Asia Hotel and Travel just affiliated with a limo company. They specialize in JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia airports. But they have strategic partnerships with limo companies throughout the world. Check them out! http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/68-transportation-to-the-airport/

I normally pay 1000 Baht which includes all the tolls from Mr. T. 3 pass. Sedan - Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi, Thailand (BKK) From $48.

Quietguy
What's a bell bus? Bell Bus run a service to Pattaya, Bangkok and Don Muang Airport from BKK airport. Costs 230 Baht to Pattaya, takes about 2 hours and they transfer you directly to your hotel in a minibus from their Pattaya bus depot. Times from bkk airport are 0800/1000/1200/1400/1600/1800 From Pattaya to bkk 0600/0900/1100/1300/1500/1700/1900 - they will pick you up from hotel. You should book in advance on their website, but might be able to get on bus at airport if there is an empty seat. www.belltravelservice.com/
Rukki
Thanks BB and Quiteguy for the info. I live in BKK and I always take the train to the MRT. Unless it is late and no traffic, then just grab a taxi-meter is the best way.
xyzzy
Is Bell still doing Don Muang Airport? I thought they gave that up but not sure.
dixon cox
Is Bell still doing Don Muang Airport? I thought they gave that up but not sure. You thought right Xy, they packed the DMK connection in months ago. I only managed to use it (Bell Bus - Pattaya-DMK) twice but them stopping the service stopped me using AirAsia again, which was a shame. I really can't be arsed getting to DMK anymore, despite the free shuttle bus between airports, which I used once, but that was once too much. The airlines at DMK that were shifted over really were fucked over, IMO.
