bumblebee
Those of us who have been to Pattaya for any length of time will, no doubt, have attended a party or two. While most have a token roast pig, others have that something special that makes them stand out. I was unsure whether to call this thread Best Parties or Memorable Parties, but settled on the latter as best to one person could be crap to another. But certainly some were memorable. Arguably one of the most memorable I ever attended was the THPon party over the Xmas/New Year week in 2008 in Ezy bar. This one stands out for several reasons. First off there was a free bar until midnight. Secondly THpon generously covered all bar fines for the night. If I recall correctly Foggy took full advantage of this particular aspect and did at least 3 short times up those famous stairs. Also it was a night when i finally got to meet some well known guys on the scene at the time, guys who up to that point I had only known through their online persona and who went on to become regular friends who i meet to this day. At one stage during the night, a group of us headed up to the Sunee area for a short sortie, to check out the mini mart which i had stumbled upon a few weeks earlier. That place could be a thread in itself. Basically it was opposite the entrance to Sunee, with some wooden chairs and benches where you could chill and drink from the shop. It even had a decent toilet, magic. So were you at this legendary night, and if so what are your memories and what other parties stand out from your times in Pattaya? ciobha
The most memorable for me, although I will obviously be slightly bias in my view, was my fortieth in La Bamba, November 2011. A great party for several reasons, not least because the bar was packed to the rafters with great guys from the forums.

In transit between both bars.

It was a great party and your honeymoon suite with Nancy was the "topping" on the cake....
ciobha
Well there was that part at the end of the night of course ET, but being a gentleman I prefer not to divulge those aspects. And of course there was the after party in Famous - I forgot about that because errrrr, well because by that stage I was so hammered I can't remember much about it. Yikes. Back to LOS tomorrow, so will keep you boys updated on any parties or events as they happen. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. Magic.

I think the second part of the night is a bit of a blur for many who attended. Myself and a few others were flying to Cambodia the next morning and tried to take it easy, which meant staggering home at 7.30 am and getting into a taxi to the airport at 11 am. These shots may help jog your memory Ciobha.

pdogg
The GOTC parties were excellent! All this talk is making me homesick. The Thpon party was great! Free Drinks, Free Barfines, that's a good combination!
mardhi
When was Ciohba's 40th? I am wondering if it was before my time and I have been here 10 years up already. Maybe I attended his 50th in some shape or form. Joking aside, there have been some great parties and over many venues. Its invariably the group of guys that make it and the bar becomes the sideshow. I can remember early parties in Guess when in Soi 1 as being great. More for the group of guys and looking back, how we were all breaking ground - parties in a ladyboy bar - unheard of. Having a group of mates all knowing each other, all into the scene and BINGO. Good days for sure.

Good days for sure. I was fortunate enough to make it to the 1 year birthday party of Guess. It's so true what you say about breaking ground Mardhi, the buzz of arriving in the place and seeing so many like minded guys having banter was fantastic, if i recall it was my first time at a ladyboy bar party. It was also important as it was the first time I ever met Jimslim and Ciobha, and if it hadn't been for that do it may have been years before I got to know them. Here are a few shots from the end of that eventful night. A bit of a where are they now shot.
mardhi
I actually don't keep any old pics. The only places they stay are on forums. A nice reminder to an otherwise blurry night !!!!!!
mardhi
Jesus, fancy seeing Pear there. I have a lot to answer for with her LOL, not least of all being an accessory in my break up with someone else. Pear is in Chayapoom now I believe. No idea about Ohm, but Nan is still around (albeit with a skinhead) as apparently is Fern - but I never see her in Temptations where she is alleged to work. Jenny is working in London, England. Not sure about the others though - the grey matter is clearly suffering.
SiamSam
I always wanted to meet Fern. Never had the pleasure.
mardhi
aside from the usual birthday parties - two stick in my mind at Guess. One was the Stringfellows pool party (and the re-match at Goldfingers with jenny chucking the water over herself and tossing her hair around dancing - poor DonneyK nearly had a heart attack as I recall) and the other was the Victoria Secrets party - the effort that went into those outfits was amazing. Must look back on other forums for some pics.
bumblebee
Come to think of it, Jimslim and Ciobha were the first guys from the forums that I actually met in person. Until that party in November '07 I had always been a solo hunter, so it was my first encounter with the larger LB loving community. So much has change in the meantime. mardhi
This should be what it's all about - the kinship. shit happens with girls but buddies should stick together through all of it. The old days were good, even excellent, but the best should surely be to come ???

donnykey
aside from the usual birthday parties - two stick in my mind at Guess. One was the Stringfellows pool party (and the re-match at Goldfingers with jenny chucking the water over herself and tossing her hair around dancing - poor DonneyK nearly had a heart attack as I recall) That brings back memories Mardhi. You know that night at Goldfingers was way back in August 2007. It was a gogo dance contest between a number of bars in Pattaya plus Guess Bar. I was one of the judges, that was fun. Jenny won the event. Here she is in one of the heats. Cheers DK By the way that's you Mardhi in the mirror lower left of pic in the striped shirt with face edited.
donnykey
Here are a few more from that night. Have many more but there are so many Bm's heads in the background too much editing. The bar was absolutely packed that night. Would have had to be well over 30 LB's in attendance. Cheers DK

I'll root out some photos later. Found them. So many photos from Party Season 2 last November it took a while to locate the folder. I wonder will the boys organise anything as wild for this coming October/ November.
Jimslim
Come to think of it, Jimslim and Ciobha were the first guys from the forums that I actually met in person. Until that party in November '07 I had always been a solo hunter. Ah happy memories and it seems like only yesterday . Like yourself I spent 05/06 ducking and diving which was fun in itself but in 07 I began to meet like minded guys in ladyboy bars and a certain kinship became involved .... I reckon if I was still ducking and diving from other friends or flying solo the whole thing would have died a death for me long ago , certainly the novelty has long since worn off but good friends remain . That first Guess party was in itself a watershed apart from meeting BumbleBee I met the notorious Baklaboy who left me with the warm glow of no matter what perverted activities I would get up to they would be tame in comparison and appear quite normal ...... It was like meeting the Aleister Crowley of the ladyboy scene .......... "Do what thou whilt shall be the law !" Seriously though good friends and friends for life . In and around that year and up until the present day I'm still meeting so many good guys from different backgrounds and different countries I wouldn't even attempt to list them for fear of forgetting someone . Other memorable parties would have to be of course any of the parties in the early days of Guess Bar , pretty much any party held by Karl and Lita in the original venues off Walking Street , the Stringfellows parties (Complete with impromptu floor show ) In recent times Fogmasters birthday at Sensations , some great ones in La Bamba and Famous and of course the 3 guys party at Baby Boom . The Anaconda parties were great too . Special mention must go of course to Ciobha's and Juri's parties in Nov 11 , two wild nights . Anyone would think I'm a ballon chaser ... now where did I put that spare plastic knife and fork ?
