So who changed what?. It is a serious question. I have never delved into it. Just seemed to be very confusing.

Woodie, may I suggest you make an attempt to answer your open questions.  You would be best served if you researched them yourself.   You may find answers to your stated confusion.  If you have a debatable issue, i.e., this vs that, then I will attempt to address.   

I said it is a brilliant document, The Sith, agreed.  I have made an attempt to show difference, in the hope to increase understanding and argue for my comments.  The US Constitution is not the 10 commandments, never to be altered by man.  The US Constitution was written, with the expressed understanding changes could be made.  Otherwise, it would have stated so in the constitution.  But, the ability to make a change, is very difficult, much more so than others, to the best of my knowledge.  Feel free to challenge me on that.   Also the original wording of the constitution, has never been changed or altered.

Supposedly the reason FDR set up SS the way he did, having workers and employers contribute, was to make it extremely difficult for Congress to abolish SS in the future since people paid into it for all their lives. Brilliant move by FDR.

Freedom is great. It is somewhat ironic though that those who shout freedom the loudest usually want to restrict the freedom of women who want abortions forcing them into the slavery/forced servitude of motherhood for the next 20 years. In fairness she is only required to be a slave for 9 months and could give up her kid for adoption.  Serves her right for opening her thighs.

 

 

yeah FDR was a genius, he is the father of socialism in America.  Maybe your not aware, but SS is bankrupt.  They already changed the age from 65 to 67 for full benefits, Regan did that.  Now, in 2025, they may cut everyone's benefits by 25%.  You see what happens to social programs, the gov runs out of other people's money.  But, not to fear, just print more money.  Then you have inflation, which is a tax on everyone, but only the poor and middle class suffer from it, until there is no middle class anymore.  Then soon the Gov can't make the interest payments on the debt, or all the income goes only to pay the interest.  No growth in income from that strategy.  Look at france, they protest any change to the benefits.  Once it become an entitlement it is no longer a privilege. Once people expect it and count on it, then they become reliant on the government, and the government then becomes more powerful and more controlling of the people.  Also, the people get lazier.  So what will be the solution.  Simple, raise taxes.  You got to love socialism.  

BML didn't use guns in America when they burned down many cities, having guns didn't play a role in that, so point not taken.  Now bring back the guillotine, is an interesting point.  No guns requirted, so that should make you happy, but wasn't that used on the elitist and high rank officials, oh dear you must be jesting.  As if they were the problem.......

So, when Sir Wallace shouted freedom and fought and dies for it, was because he wanted to abolish abortion and enslave woman........I must have skipped that day in school.

When America fought the British for there freedom.  "Give me liberty or give me death"......I don't think abortion and enslaving woman was the reason.

I can go on and on, but shouldn't need to.  As for your premise that those that shout the loudest are trying to force woman into slavery.  First, abortion is not a constitutional right.  Secondly, it is a dividing issues, that all the politicians just love and can use for there own selfishness.  Thirdly, in America abortion is not unlawful.  The power to have an abortion is regulated at the states level and not at the federal, as it should be.  But, maybe i miss the point, people should not be responsible for there action, the central power should be responsible for people's action........ Go Socialism......

I wonder if Ukraine, Crimea, Hong Kong, Georgia, soon Taiwan, as well as many African countries, and middle east states wouldn't agree with you.
