The 3 girls that moved from LaBamba to Baby Boom were Nanny, Pinky and Poppy. Pinky was back at LaBamba last week, but just freelancing, according to Nok. I can confirm that Cindy (La Bamba)will be leaving in May for a 3 month tour of duty in Germany, but apparently the bf is no longer on the scene. Rumours are rife from various (reliable) sources, that the Soi Diana beer bar bar complex which houses the likes of Nong Bar, will close by the end of the year, to make way for a new hotel. Linda Bar is not much mentioned anywhere these days, but I find it a fine venue for a late night beverage, with some very hot LB's mixed in with the old skankers. Well worth a visit. There are two massage parlours on soi yamato, half way down on the left hand side coming from 2nd road, that are staffed with mainly LB's, from what I could see.

I was sitting in LaBamba last March with Jimslim, Donneykey and a few others, when a couple of young Russian lads came in and went straight upstairs with Cindy and Patti. I remember saying to DK "This will be the shortest short time in history" Sure enough a few moments later they came hurtling down the stairs with horror on their faces like they had been given the electricity bill for Las Vegas. It was quite funny, as BB would say - you had to be there. That said,the same LB's confirmed that they do get a fair enough Russian trade, and they generally tend to tip pretty big. In general I find the Russian visitors quite rude. Whether this is just their general demeanor, or simply the language and cultural differences, who knows, but I can't say they have ever done me any harm personally.And IMO, you are more likely to receive a nasty/aggressive comment from a British or Aussie bloke, for being with a LB, than from one of our Russian brethren.

That volterra restaurant brother route67 mentions is basically on the doorstep of the Yensabai Condo, or "home" when I am in Patts. Have to say there were most definitely no LB's working there last November, but shall for sure check it out again in a few weeks.
