Visited Emmy Bar tonight and had a chat with Emmy, Teya, and Pla. The new bar should be an improvement. There will be a proper shorttime room with a shower. There is a mezzanine level. It's unclear if it will be part of the bar. Perhaps a VIP area much like the original LaBamba. Jomtien The Dog won't be at the new bar as the owner lives next door to the old bar. The Mapmeister is busy creating a map pinpointing the new location but it's only a minute's walk from the current venue. Happy times at Jomtien Beach!

Just had a quick listen. Interesting because it's the Stones. Quality of the songs seems pretty even, nothing bad but at the same time nothing jumps out at me as wow. If the Stones did not exist and I had a listen not sure how excited I'd be. But hey, they exist and well, it's the Stones. My intention was to pick out a favorite or two but can't at this time.

As kids the best athletes dominated in all sports. Perhaps in high school the bruising running back was also a great power forward and home run hitter. But he might be too short for the NBA and also incapable of hitting the curve ball. I enjoy Aussie Rules Football and Rugby. I get why many non-Yanks find baseball boring.
