  1. Bitter herbs and double dipping.
  2. Dublin and New York have huge St Paddy's Day parades. But Pattaya has one too. There'll be plenty of guys wearing the green marching down Beach Road, Supposedly starts at 3PM. The staging area is at Alcazar, booths are there, and an opportunity for those inclined to donate to the Father Ray Foundation which has done great work with orphans for over decade. I've also heard that in the evening there will be a party at Sensations. Happy St Paddy's to all our Irish Forum Members!
  3. I guess that's shortime. If there are places in Italy where you can get hot ladyboy sex for 50 Euros, please tell the guys in the Europe section.
  4. With St Paddy's Day coming up, my guess is the quiz night we're in every week will have some Irish questions. So if you have any hunches as to what questions could be asked, please post them now!
  5. I hate it when some people try to tell other people how they should spend their money. If some people want to splash cash around and ring bells, up to them. It's their money! Others are on tight budgets and are careful with expenses, up to them. It's their money! I'm a Cheap Charlie although I prefer to think of it as living within my means. I also like Lance's term "value for money". My budget for daily expenses after rent is 500 baht a day or 15,000 baht a month. This obviously does not allow for expensive farang food, at least not very often. Or buying ladydrinks because some guy on some forum said that's what's expected of you. Expect THIS. This year I made the choice of upgrading my lodging. Got tired of my teerak and I living in one room. So my rent is an extra 250 baht a day. I guess, I could suffer with one room and then buy ladydrinks when out on the town cause some guy on some forum said that's what I should do. Other guys don't mind living in one room with their teerak. Hey, I did that for the last 6 years. Up to them, it's their money, Guys should do whatever the fuck they want to do with THEIR money and if someone tries to tell me what I should do with the money that I worked hard for then they can just go fuck themselves. And the horse they rode in on! So back to my budget. It might appear undoable. But there are many days when my only expense is cheap but delicious Thai food. That means the extra 400 baht can be applied to the next day or the day after. Sure it'd be nice to have extra spending money. Could go for massages etc. But I don't feel deprived. So maybe I walk home instead of springing for 10 baht on the baht bus. Or hold it in rather that spending 5 baht for the bog. My money, up to me.
  6. I quit my job 5 years after I discovered the sexual freedom of Thailand. I wasn't enjoying my job anymore. If I was enjoying my job and had more vacation time then I wouldn't have quit. If I was better off financially I'd now split my time between New York and Thailand.
  7. Google translate is a tad better than the Facebook translation:
  8. Seems like it happened outside the Marine Dico in wee hours. Here is a really poor Facebook translation:
  9. Quinn is the Jomtien and Rompho expert and it all jibes with my experience although I only go to Rompho about twice a month. June is one of the prettiest ladyboys in Rompho and also speaks great English despite being about 19 years old. I agree with the band that used to be a Naughty being a bit better than most and if sitting outside the volume was good but since they don't have fans outside on the wrong night it could be muggy and buggy. Though being at the very back of he complex on some nights there's a decent breeze. Inside the band was a little too loud for my taste. Tick Bar has a sofa inside and there used to be ladyboy there who would be about as hands on as you can for Rompho on the sofa but haven't seen her there this year. Mint Bar, I just went to once and didn't like the vibe. But I guess right now, the bar with the most ladyboys. GT mentioned front vs back, and I prefer the back as there are less customers and I like breathing space. Generally I just walk up one of the middle aisles to scope out the scene and if something looks interesting have a beer. It seems this year San Migs and Heineken are 70 baht rather than 60 at most of the bars but the wider variation in price is with the ladydrinks. Ma Mak used to be a regular stop for me when Pop/Poppy/Popcorn used to work there. She was clever and funny. Have you see her around Quinn?
  10. The idea is to make it useful for our members.. A compact list in one post so that a guy who is new to a particular city can find ladyboys. How this started is I got a PM from a member who doesn't know Pattaya well, and was wondering if we could put together a list of bars with their locations. I thought it was a great idea. This guy might want to identify himself or might not, so that's why I'm not using his name. So for Pattaya, I reckon a bar that at least half of the staff are not GGs would qualify. TJ's and Sally's would make the list. Miami A GoGo would not. But standards as to what makes the list would be lower in Udon where it's not as easy to find ladyboys. If I was going to Udon, I'd like a list of the places where I'd be likely to find action. So a beer bar complex in Udon that had a couple ladyboys would be very useful info. In Pattaya, that probably would not be useful for the guy here for one week. Although the guys who live here might be interested in off the beaten track locations. In the spirit of usefullness, I would think Tootsie's Massage in Phuket and Nuch Salon could be on the list. I suppose a very short description would be useful. For example, if there is a post-op gogo in Nana, a guy might want to know it's only posties. Or might want to know if it's 30% postie. Or let's say in Udon, if a palce was a few miles from the main source of action, that would be good to know as might be no big deal to a guy with a motobike but a guy just walking around might not want to go there for two ladyboys. I figure there are guys who are experts in a certain city and if we put our collective heads together we can come up with a good list This will evolve, so might turn out different over time than you or I envision it. There might be a guy reading this who has never been to Thailand but knows something of the ladyboy scene in Rio or Sao Paulo. By all means means chip in and either we can start a thread about Brazil bars or you can.
  11. There are photoshoots of Sophie on two porn sites: Ladyboy XXX http://www.ladyboyreview.com/forum/index.php?/topic/2695-ladyboyxxx/ Frank's T Girl World http://www.ladyboyreview.com/forum/index.php?/topic/2636-franks-tgirlworld/ Hey Guys, if you decide to join either of these great Grooby porn sites please support the Ladyboy Review Forum by using our links. Karbp khun khrap!
  12. We will be posting a thread of a Master List of Ladyboy Bars. We want to keep it short and sweet. So it will be a "read only" easy to use thread with each post devoted to one city. We will list all the bars in each city, their address, and a link to a thread on Ladyboy Review devoted to that bar. Perhaps a very short description. BB and I will handle Pattaya. But we need to know the bars in the other locations such as Phuket, Chiang Mai, and so on and so on. So if you know a city, please list the Ladyboy Bars you know in that city and the location of those bars. Then we'll add it to the Master List. Thanks! Bumblebee started a great thread about the Ladyboy Zones of Pattaya. It's almost complete. If anyone wants to take on a more ambitios project like that then go for it! But I think a simple list in a short thread that covers every ladyboy bar in Thailand would be helpful.
  13. 500 to open the account and 50 baht per month per month service charge after a year of inactivity if the account has less than 2000 baht. I'm not sure what constitutes inactivity as I had no deposits or withdrawals for over a year and was not assessed the service charge. But my passbook was updated once within the year. I now have over 2K in the account and want to keep it that way. Even though I don't use the account, I feel it is useful to have backups. Could need it in the future.
  14. Think you're spot on Trenton. I reckon that girls who hate their dick are likely candidates for SRS.
  15. I believe that as of March 10, the baht bus route is back to normal. There had been road construction which disrupted the route.
  16. Jomtien would be my choice GT. Rompho is not the least bit gay. Think you may be confusing Rompho with the Jomtien Complex. Jomtien Complex is extremely gay. There also Soi 5 Roadhouse which used to be Sally's in Jomtien. And the only gogo in Jomtien, We Are #1, which is str8 has a ladyboy dancer named Bee and one or two ladyboy waitstaff. But Rompho has about 15-20 ladyboys. I saw 4 or 5 in Mint Bar the other week.
  17. People changed lots of other personal things all the time. They dyed their hair and dieted themselves to near death. They took steroids to build muscles and got breast implants and nose jobs so they'd resemble their favorite movie stars. They changed names and majors and jobs and husbands and wives. They changed religions and political parties. They moved across the country or the world -- even changed nationalities. Why was gender the one sacred thing we weren’t supposed to change? Who made that rule?” The above is an excerpt from Parrotfish, a novel written for teens about a transgendered teen. Guess this is the type of book that's OK for school libraries in Northampton, Massachusetts but doesn't play to well in Kansas. You can read most of the book with only a few pages removed on Google Books. http://books.google.co.th/books?id=JrOJH_MVhEAC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_atb#v=onepage&q&f=false
  18. Seven's post was originally in Ramblings and Replies. I thought it was an extremely interesting post but would get lost there. So I suggested it get moved to it's own thread. But I had to give the thread a title, didn't give the title too much thought. Seven, if you have an alternative name for the thread title please let me know.
  19. She certainly will turn off most guys that I know. And it does sound obnoxious. And she will lose customers. But I reckon it's better to find out now what she won't do than find out in the loom.
  20. Many of our newer Forum members are planning trips to Souteast Asia to meet ladyboys. What specifically can Ladyboy Review do to help you plan your trip? If it's your first time to a city, what do you want to know? We have a thread The Ladyboy Zones of Pattaya which we think is helpful. http://www.ladyboyreview.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4196-the-ladyboy-zones-of-pattaya/ But anything that the old hands write is what we think you might want to know rather than what you really want to know. So let us know how we can help guys!
  21. The dreaded cashier. Although their are a few cashiers I care for, Lek formerly of both Club 131 and So What spring to mind, most cashiers seem to have sour attitudes. I don't want my tip money to going to these cashiers. At Sally Bar, one of the ladyboys told us the cashier, Sally's brother, kept all the tips for himself. I try to make sure that someone I like gets the tip money. MY money. MY choice. Especially in the type of bars that cater to expats and long term visitors, such as the Rompho Bars in Jomtien where ladydrinks are not expected. If a ladyboy has been attentive with a pleasant attitude, I might give her 100 baht and the bar zero. Better for her to get 100 baht than a ladydrink.
  22. I had/have boatloads of nerdy friends. One guy memorized Pi to 200 decimal places.
