    Coronavirus

I would think you would have some protection and I'm sure people do. But let's say you book a round trip ticket. You get to your destination, in Sustra's case Bangkok. Then the return flight gets cancelled. What is the obligation of the airline? Put you on another flight and if so when? Refund approx half the price of the ticket and then you buy an expensive one way flight home? I would think there are many ways it might be handled. In a different case, I have a friend in Thailand now. He is going home by way of China in a couple months but staying in China for a week or so just to see the place. He booked his flight using miles/points. Last I spoke with him he probably wants to skip the China visit. Unclear at this point if he can cancel the stay in China and get his Mies back.

I agree. Go for it! The worst they can do as Arch says is to cancel the flight. When you click through to the various offers, you'll see Air China, Kissandfly, Vayama etc. I wonder if the flight was cancelled would ther ebe less of a hassle getting a refund through Air China or a 3rd party such as Kissnadfly? I've always been a bit wary of the 3rd party sites thinking if there was some sort of problem with a booking that I'd rather deal directly with an airline. But maybe with a cancellation refund, the 3rd party would want to protect their reputation and pressure the airline? What do you guys think? Talking about Skyscanner guys, if you use Skyscanner we really would appreciate it if you use our links. If you click through to a Skyscanner deal, we earn a small commission whether or not you actually book a flight. This helps defray the operating costs of LBR. Skyscanner Link If you are using Agoda or Booking.com we would also appreciate it if you use our links. Thanks!

Big move in the last couple days. Head office of Super Rich at 30.80 today. Farang currencies are gaining and Asian currencies weakening so good for the sex tourist.
  4. The dollar closed at 30.80 at the head office of Super Rich Thailand which will be slightly higher than TT in Pattaya. The baht's depreciation is mostly coronavirus related.
  5. Coffee Works on the ground floor of the Avenue Mall is having a Buy 1, Get 1 Free sale on coffee beans. It's not a place to actually drink coffee but rather to buy beans, coffee machines, and to enrol in barista courses. If you do buy 1 and get 1, you don't have to have them grind both, you can have one ground and bring back the other a month later to be ground preserving freshness.
  6. Yanks changing money will like today's exchange rate! Think it has to do with Coronavirus.
  7. Guys often talk about how the PI girls have "botched circumcisions" but IMO a less than perfect circumcision is preferable to an anteater style cock with the foreskin covering the whole head. The Philippines is a great hunting ground for guys who prefer a more natural femboy look.

My better half said some of the massage ladies she works with were wearing masks today.
  9. Excellent photo-journalism! Interesting shot of the girl wearing a Fuck You shirt to a religious festival.
  10. For some excellent Province pics check out the ROMSCAR Club
  11. Excellent video! The first part of the video also discusses the many rumours swirling about town.
  12. Somebody said that Dada ex-TJ's is working at 69 now. Can anyone confirm?
  13. Although I believe that the Invision software does some automatic resizing there are certain limitations to length, width, and megabytes. There are various resizing programs, but what I usually do with photos is to first post them on Facebook (with the setting only visible to me). Facebook compresses the photo so then I download the compressed photo and post it on LBR. Then I delete the photo on Facebook (which was only visible to me anyway).
  14. I have no idea but it appears one Portrait was loaded. Was good to catch up with you Annat!
  15. Obviously not good news. At least Kev is not in any pain.
  16. It seems rather odd when a low budget guy is told he should stay home and don't come to Thailand unless he going to spend a certain amount of money. I won't be ringing any bells on my 500 baht per day budget (after rent). OTOH, if a guy wants to splash the cash that's up to him.
  17. Nice post and welcome to the forum Markm! I think the timing factor also works for farangs too. Something clicks in one's head and it's time to settle!
  18. Friends of mine who had a days long sex romp with a dozen Filipina ladyboys in Angeles told me there were one or two ladyboys who nobody had sex with but insisted on staying in their multi room penthouse suite as they wanted the free food and booze and also get to hang out with their friends in such luxurious lodging. There seems to be a culture of ladyboy friends looking out for each other and it seems to me that ladyboys are not accepted into Philippines society to the same degree that their Thai sisters are accepted in Thailand.
  19. Interesting observation QG. Thinking about it, I might do that when talking to my girlfriend (ladyboy). It's kind of like baby talk. I'm just sort of parroting back the way she talks to me.
  20. Patriotism should be a 2 way street. But it doesn't seem to work that way. I guess to many Appalachians, the Culture War is more important than Class Warfare. I was a slacker for most of my life but managed to get one good job and then got very lucky which allowed me to quit at a relatively young age. So I do appreciate that there is opportunity in the USA. I believe that if the swamp is drained (the real swamp, not Trump's swamp) there will be even more opportunity for Americans. I posted something similar a few years back and I sure got lots of pushback! In a macro sense, we are taking advantage of these gentle souls. That's an inconvenient truth. I think the typical Thai ladyboy is much nicer than the typical farang. However, In a micro sense, our P4P interactions are a win-win for both parties; Adam Smith's invisible hand guiding dick into ass for 1000 baht.
  21. Might be a good charity auction item. Like Cinderella's glass slipper or Dorothy's ruby slippers!
  22. Was the answer to a question at last night's pub quiz! A friend of mine visited Thailand for the first time two years ago and was excited about the opportunity to catch rare Asian pokemons. He didn't monger at all which I thought was a shame but hey different strokes. That's the problem with barfining, Coconut Bar, or Thai Friendly/Pina Love booty calls. Those activities lack the thrill of the hunt. Some mongers like iBar because there is at least the illusion of the hunt. A traditional hunting ground for ladyboys has always been department store cosmetic counters but in Pattaya one of ours can usually be found working just about anywhere, Tuk Com, cosmetic counters, restaurants etc.
  23. I suggest the streetwalkers on Lower Sukhumvit or Sukhumvit Soi 4. Have a quick conversation of less than a minute. If interested just say, "jet roi baht, chai mai"? It is highly unlikely you will get turned down.
