  1. Damn Strocube, you take "go big or go home" to heart eh? Good on ya!
  2. Oi, I had no idea so many had axes to grind here. And people wonder why I never discuss politics or religion. Just curious: has anyone that has commented on this thread ever been to Venezuela? By "been to" I mean spent significant time there: a month or more outside of the conference room/business class hotel? Failing that, does anyone actually know citizens of the country? And I don't mean long-time expats/immigrants in your own or some other country, but people who have lived the bulk of their lives in Venezuela? And by know, I mean know well, as in enough to actually have some sort of insight into their lives? And I'm not trying to make *any* implications one way or another vis-a-vis the quality of anyone's posts. As i say, just curious: no judgments implied or explicit.
  3. Like any other lounge type of bar, it can be hit or miss. La Bamba, for example, gets a few girls barfined out, and a few more go to get something to eat, and suddenly it's a ghost town. More often than not, though, I've had a good time here and been well-treated and had a good time in this place -- even when I'm the only customer in the bar.
  4. I reserved May the other night ... oh, wait ... Thank you ladies and germs. I'll be here all the week.
  5. JaiDee, do you have permission of the website's owner to post those photos? 5555 Sorry, couldn't resist. Wish I'd seen this before I did the transportation gauntlet back to my 'hood. Was just on Suk Soi 4 an hour ago. But thanks for the heads up. There is always tomorrow.
  6. Are you related to some of my ex-girlfriends? 555 Fortunately a select few of said girlfriends. As for the original topic -- eating snails as well as clams makes the world a better place, yes. I have an equal opportunity oral fixation (at least when it comes to people that look good in a bikini/dress etc.). I think after dining at the Y, so to speak, so much, I didn't give it much thought the first time I was with a transgendered woman; I guess it was just a given. But then it was a crazy, freaky GG (ironically enough) back in college that erased any taboos by surprising me with a snowball one drunken night after going down on me (I remember thinking "so that's what it tastes like; that's not so bad. Next time some girl complains, I'll know she's full of shit.). Ah, everything was on the table, with that crazy kid.
  7. Ah, in that case, perhaps: Pas joueurs Français ... No French players.
  8. Ah, youth. I remember the first time I (consumed illicit substance) ...
  9. Still not quite clear on your meaning. It's meant to keep French people out, or explain something to them? In any event, I would keep it simple: Pas peuple Francais = No French people. As in no French people are allowed (in here, to go inside, apply for the job, etc.). That's should be clear enough, n'est pas? If it's that you don't want the French people to speak French, then Ne parlez pas Francaise. Don't speak French. So I gotta ask ... what's the issue with the Froggies?
  10. Literally laughed out loud, that was indeed brilliant. Had to pass that along to some mates back home, of both persuasions/genders.
  11. Oh la vache! Not a native speaker, but used to be fluent, once upon a time (pretty rusty these days, admittedly). But that's close enough it seems to get the original meaning across. But it's not clear from the original English whether you mean spoken French, as in the language, or actual French people ...
  12. I've unsuccessfully resisted the urge to be a pedantic nerd and point out the fact that we're comparing flash memory drives with hard drives, which are in point of a fact a different storage medium, but still a point well made regarding capacity vs. price vs. size with regard to storage media over over the years ... I remember the good old days of Compuserve, and how exciting it was to get a 28.8 baud modem ... and those crazy fast 486 pentium machines. And how about those amazing 1.44Mbyte floppies! All that space on a 3.5-inch disk. Lawl.

    The fuck's a womble?
  14. I'm assuming the amazing Tunch is just freelancing out of here, like May, et al? Inquiring minds want to know. I had intended to stop by tonight before making the trek back to my neighborhood, but I have to get up (relatively) early to stop in at my school for visa paperwork, so gave it a pass. But I'll say it again: I've had a nice time every time I've been in here, be it busy or slow.
  15. 5555 And it would now be this ridiculously beautiful shitter who only works when it feels like it because it has so many customers chasing after it, it's so popular ... due in large part to BB's early pictures.
  16. He was fed up with all the Russians, 555
  17. Diva's in San Francisco called; they want their two missing trannies to come home. Aw, that's mean. I'm sure they're sweet girls and good on 'em. Thanks for cross posting all this, Duke. Having met the one and only Nicole last weekend while she was on a visit to Sewage-on-Sea, I'm seriously thinking about a jaunt down to Bucket.

    Guess Bar Update

Ah, the boyfriend thing hadn't occurred to me. One would think the girls wouldn't want their Thai boyfriends hanging out when they are trying to get customers, but then I've been here long enough that it wouldn't surprise me. I got taken to see the (outside of) one of those places that caters to the Thai gentleman in Suphanburi once (I convinced my this local Thai girl I knew to show me as I was curious and bored on a Sunday afternoon; not a lot to do in that town). Would never know that it was a brothel; looked like just another Thai house in an upper-middle class neighborhood. So back on-topic, I stopped in tonight briefly and ran into Juri, who is back in LoS; he's in BKK for a few days before heading down to Pattaya for a bit (that's the sound of girls rejoicing in Chonburi). Besides us there were five or six farang customers and a few Indian guys about (first I've seen that, come to think of it -- Indian guys in a ladyboy bar). There were plenty of girls and few lookers, although I didn't see anyone I recognized. I did ask the bartender about Gate, if she was still around, and she assured me that she was (I had her number once, but that phone was nicked in Sai Gon awhile back). There were no Thai guys that I saw; maybe they were reading the forum. 5555

    Guess Bar Update

Mardhi you mention Thai guys; on that other forum guys were complaining about this. I'm asking honestly -- I'm not trolling or otherwise trying on a windup -- do a lot of people have problems with this? I understand they are probably scamming free drinks but beyond that why should customers care? I'm asking because I guess (heh) I just don't see what the issue is for those bothered by it. Am I being naive? I mean this *is* Thailand; it's kinda full of Thai people, 555.
  20. Will do, DT. I'll ping you and Thaibound. Prolly be about around 8ish, after I finish reviewing my lessons/homework. No. really.
  21. If any of you gents will be in there tomorrow night -- Wednesday -- I'll stop in. Well, I'll probably pop in regardless, but if anyone's about, the more the merrier.
  22. I can confirm what Deepthroat says about Rabbit, at least outside the room -- haven't had the pleasure yet -- but she is a real sweety and fun to hang out with (or share a cab with; turns out we're not-quite neighbors).
  23. ... soon to be seen wearing sandals with dark socks, a loud Hawaiian shirt and propositioning a glamazon on Beach Road at 3 a.m. ...
