  1. Yes, Wat Yan, the Chinese temple/museum, Buddha Mountain, and the Italian Vineyard (fresh cold grape juice on a hot day), all just in the same area ether beside each other or no more than 2 kilometers away from each other. Like BigTel said, 30 minutes away on the bike from Pattaya. Was surprised that for all the years the girls (Pon & Ann) had been working in Pattaya, didn't know these places existed, and thought it was weird two farangs where doing tour guides. Wat Yan, is right next door to the Chinese Museum, where you can see Buddha mountain in the distance, which is 2 kilometers away. Right next door to Buddha mountain is the Italian Vineyard, and makes a great day out to see all 4.
  2. Some latest photos of Aun/Ann....... day out with Ann
  3. Some photos of Sensations on our last trip a couple of weeks ago! Sensations was by far the busiest bar this trip, when the rest of the bars were crying out for customers!
  4. I have to agree with zaronxas & flat pack on all points.... it was a great documentary, and did exactly what it set out to do. It was set out for family viewing, and Jerry you seem to be more disappointed in not seeing cock.
  5. LaaMok (root admin/owner) over at Pattaya Addict has been kind enough to open a banner, and holding their meeting in Sensations on Friday the 15th....it reads as follows; Friday Meeting at Action Street - Sensations Scott & Paeng's bar is called 'Sensations' in 'Action Street' They were featured in this documentary 15th June 2012 8.30 p.m - 10.00 p.m They open a day before our meeting. He has posted photos of the bar, that Scott posted here, which I put a couple of arrows in to make sure they know which bar it is.... they might even start their bar crawls in the whole complex later.
  6. May first came to Pattaya, and worked in a bar in Soi 7, at the age of 14+. Same with Dear, she is just celebrating her 21st birthday, but last year she told me she was 24. Took her first time from Pooks the year before.... so she was 18 then. But she worked in EZY, Obsessions, Soi 7 + 8 for a couple of years before that, and Bangkok before that, for an escort agentcy. When I took her first at 18, she had already 4-5 porn movies under her belt, usually doing 1 or 2 a year. Doing the maths, she had to be 15 at least when she did her first porn movie.
  7. Point taken Larry, I have edited that to make it more clear, and I think it should read alright now!
  8. The set-up here in Holland is nothing like the UK,and she isn't a bad old dear. I believe the state only covers her and one other member of the Dutch royal family, the rest including the prince's have to have they're own income, or all have to have real jobs. Being a member of the socialist party here in Holland, we do make the drastic protest of sticking a postage stamp with her head on it upside down when mailing a letter.... but it still gets delivered...lol But way back in the day, the hell angels here had a beef with her, with all sorts of threats & protests. So she invited a bunch of top dogs over to the palace for tea,and when they came she dismissed the servants, and served the tea her self to them, and more of less played house maid for them. They came away with a different attitude...lol
  9. It's actually the Dutch Queen's birthday that date, and as Lita's boyfriend is Dutch, I guess he would be throwing the party.
  10. Welcome QG, took you long enough, but now your here
  11. Glad you made it Eldiablo.....welcome buddy
  12. Transvestites or Real Women, Sexy Dancing in Sattahip Wan Lai, Songkran Sattahip was very vigorous, there were many people celebrating Songkran and splashing water in the market area and around the City. SATTAHIP – April 17, 2012 [PDN]: The journalist reported that in the city and market area of Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi, there were plenty of people coming out and splashing water in Wan Lai, Songkran. The roads around Sattahip were packed with plenty of vehicles that contained families in their pick-ups, out of their house’s to splash water and powder on to other people. The roads around Sattahip were paralyzed, almost all of the people were out to play, there was children and teenagers between the ages of 13 – 20. This year, all the teenagers were more tender and polite, so there was no disturbances like previous, but there were a lot of teenagers drinking alcohol, some of them carrying liquor bottles, drinking openly and some of them were clearly drunk. There were transvestites who looked like women and it was difficult to tell them apart. Most of them were dressed in lewd clothes that left nothing to the imagination, such as bras and miniskirts that were very short and their panties were visible, whilst they were dancing on the stage. There was not any Police Officers on duty. The Authorities are concerned that Sattahip’s reputation could be severely shamed and disgraced. 13. Foreigner and 2 Thais, Randomly Shot by Pattaya Teenager A teenager in Pattaya, Banglamung, fired his handgun randomly at some passerbys, this action injured innocent victims, the Police rushed to the scene. PATTAYA – April 17, 2012 [PDN]; At 1830 Pol.Col. Thammanoon Mankong, Director of Pattaya Police Station, Chonburi, with Police Officers went to the scene of the incident, there were 3 victims, who had received gunshot wounds. The victims were taken too Pattaya Memorial Hospital. The scene of the crime was at a beer bar, at the top of Soi 8, Central Pattaya Beach Road, which is only 30 meters from the local Police Station and near the Tropicana Hotel, Pattaya Beach Road. The information from the hospital regarding the victims was, there were 3 victims, one was a Foreign Male, Mr. Michael Golop, 66years of age and the other victims were 2 Thais, the first was Mr. A (Aliase) 17 years of age, who had received a gunshot wound to the middle of his back and Mr. Anont Kaeochit, 18 years of age. Miss Thawarat Plookmor, 39 years of age, who is the Thai wife of Mr. Michael, stated that, while they were splashing water at the beer bar on the top of Soi 8, a teenager with a gun came in to the bar and randomly fired shots and said “ who hurt my friend?” then everyone tried to avoid him . She later discovered that her husband had been shot. Mr.Keen Kasin, 22 years of age, who is a witness, helped the injured victims, stated that, the criminals were 5 teenagers who were riding a Honda Wave Motorbike, the shooter was sitting behind the rider, wearing a grey T shirt. He randomly fired his weapon before escaping. The Investigation Team was rushing to Arrest the Suspects. The outside area of Pattaya City, there was another apparently random shooting incident in Wan Lai Suttawas, Banglamung. Pol.Col. Somnuk Chanket Director of Pattaya Police Station received a report that a male had been shot in the head, but the bullet had only grazed his skin, his name was Mr. Chuchai Mankong, 23 years old , and the other male, Mr. Tualek, a Burmese National, 20 years of age, received a gunshot wound and he was transported to Chonburi Hospital. At first, the Police knew only rough details, that while the victims were splashing water in the Temple’s Wan Lai party, suddenly there were gunshots, resulting in 2 victims. The police had no knowledge of the culprits, but believed that this incident was from the impetuous teenagers shooting randomly to some passerbys. 19. Not forgetting the redundant owner of the XXX Bar, is now managing the Kings Bar II on Soi 8 since December, and is now employing LB's as usual. @Pdogg; is there any truth about Pook buying the Billabong Bar, in LK Metro,as all the straight forums are up in arms about it with, "Oh no they're letting in LB's to our favorite watering hole area, there goes the neighborhood!" Personally I think it will put a bit of class to the place. But I believe it was a toss-up between Pook & another lady, as to who was buying it. Any ideas Pdogg?
  20. Great news BB.......... We're going to have to rename Soi Buakhao... to Soi Katoi pretty soon. By the way great idea for a thread.
  21. For the guys like myself who enjoy a bit of a jamming session with the guitar, or like to get up and do a turn on the mic, wile enjoying a few beers in your favorite live music & Karaoke bars in LOS. Here’s a warning that is happening in Chang Mai at the moment. But just wait until the Pattaya boys in brown get wind of yet another money making scam! The Music is Over! “Open Mic nights are over! Musicians & jamming sessions in Chang Mai are over!” Chiang Mai's fledgling music scene has suffered a setback of late due to the crackdown on foreign musicians playing live music in the city. A number of arrests were made during the months of March and April at Guitarman and Northgate, nightspots that have gained cult status within the foreign community, among local Thais as well as tourists. The arrests, which the immigration police have said were an action against people working without the requisite work permits, has created confusion and a small void at a time when Chiang Mai was fast becoming a creative nexus for foreign musicians. Since the arrests, the expat community, musicians, bar owners, as well as music aficionados, have been voicing their opinions, though mostly in the shadows, debating the issue of whether the arrests were just and in accordance with the law, or whether it is yet another attempt to intimidate foreigners out of money and how much affect it will have on Chiang Mai as a whole. Questions have been raised as to what is exactly illegal concerning playing live music. One of the arrestees at Guitarman was in Thailand for just one night when he was arrested, on the other hand some of the musicians were regulars and have admitted that they were paid for their services, thereby undoubtedly violating the law. An anonymous musician from a popular foreign band based in Chiang Mai told Citylife that his regular venue is now virtually deserted with no music being performed anymore, "Open mic nights are done, musicians in Chiang Mai are done", he said. He also explained that a large number of foreign musicians have cancelled their gigs out of fear of being arrested by immigration, and a growing number of foreign musicians who have settled or retired in Chiang Mai are leaving as they feel that the city no longer offers what was once a creative hub for performers. Chiang Mai is currently asking United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to grant the city 'Creative City Status', a city where cultural and creative activities are an integral part of the city's economic and social functioning. If Chiang Mai is to be internationally recognized as a creative city, would it not be in our interest to promote creativity through music, art, poetry...or even karaoke? On the other hand, the law of the land surely must also be upheld and enforced. The recent crackdowns are not only affecting foreign musicians in Chiang Mai, but also businesses and local tourism - though to what degree depends on your standpoint regarding this issue. Business owner Toni of Happy Pizza (Chiang Mai-Hod Road, Hang Dong) has been forced to put his pizza and pasta restaurant up for sale, "since the recent musicians arrests in Chiang Mai, I can no longer sing and play music in my own restaurant, this is the reason why I am selling," said Toni. Basically, the law states that without a valid work permit foreigners can not earn money for a living. And if musicians play regularly in a venue, it can be argued that they are increasing the sales for that business, even though they are not remunerated, therefore they should have a work permit. Tourists cannot reasonably be expected to understand that they may be caught up by the police should they stand up on stage to play a song. And in fact, there is nothing illegal about that act, since they tend to be one-off occurrences. Immigration police are trying to uphold the law whilst musicians, claiming to be unaware of immigration laws, may be risking their freedom and could end up in jail. While naivety can be claimed as a defence, it will not hold up in court. Ruchuchai Potha, Chiang Mai Employment Office, Department of Work Permits, explains that his department and the immigration police both have the power to arrest for on-the-spot employment breaches. The two departments also employ investigative officers who specifically focus on larger case infractions. When a complaint regarding illegal work activity is lodged to the immigration police it is their duty to investigate, if they fail to follow through it becomes a dereliction of duty. In the case of the Guitarman arrests, an official complaint was made by someone and immigration followed through after investigations. Ruchuchai said there were similar circumstances surrounding the Northgate arrests, although unfortunately an innocent backpacker was swept up in the net without doing anything wrong. While he may have had to go through the legal process following, no charges were laid nor were court appearances required. So when is 'work' officially considered as employment? Ruchuchai answered, "If you work at home it's none of my business, gardening, sweeping, painting, it's all fine. It's when you perform activities which help someone (or yourself) earn an income, that is not OK." If you were to make furniture at home and gave a set to a restaurant owner friend, that wouldn't be a problem," when asked if one were to make 10 sets for a restaurant, Ruchuchai responded with an ambivalent, "ah..." which I can only assume that means 'not OK'. The second an individual or group begins to promote their work through portals such as websites, posters, etc. regardless of whether they are for profit or not, "things get wrong" says Ruchuchai. “There’s a process in place, if you’re following it, and can prove it, you’re innocent! NO problem, jamming is OK for sure! No judge is going to punish you for it, but you may have to go through the legal process nonetheless!” According to the Alien Working Act, B.E. 2551 (2008), any non-Thai nationality may not work inside Thailand for wages or benefit without expressed official permission, i.e. a valid work permit. And while the Labour Department can issue work permits quite easily and with few restrictions, within permitted fields of work, the problem is often the monetary restrictions required by the Immigration Department in issuing visas (a westerner has to earn - and pay taxes and social security on - over 50,000 baht per month to receive a visa). Though musicians 'jamming' for no wages, as one Chiang Mai lawyer put it, is a different matter and a complicated issue. Many foreign musicians may in fact not be accepting payment and are just 'jamming' for enjoyment and therefore not breaking any immigration laws. However, this can be difficult for immigration police to discern who is 'legally' playing, and who is not. Ruchuachai says, "There's a process in place, if you're following it and can prove it, you're innocent. No problem, jamming is OK for sure. No judge is going to punish you for it, but you may have to go through the legal process nonetheless." Laws like the Alien Working Act, B.E. 2521 (1978), a legislation which includes criteria designed to protect the Thailand domestic labour department, is an example of what kind of factors complicate the issue. Under this legislation, the Department of Employment will consider whether the 'work' could be undertaken by a Thai, whether the foreigner is appropriately qualified and whether the job fits the needs of Thailand. After these factors are considered, the individual requires an organisation such as a company or charity to sponsor them. Any foreigner with intent to work, or 'jam', can apply for a 15 day temporary work permit through the Department of Work Permits in Chiang Mai. Ruchuachai says, "I'm a reasonable man, we can give permission, the law says if a foreigner is going to work for less than 15 days they can - just come and ask me." Although he makes it sound so easy, we do wonder how many people will take the risk of applying for such permits. Then there is the problem of confusion amongst the government agencies themselves. Ruchuachai claims that his staff are all quite sensible and are not out to get people for minor infractions, but says "that cannot be said about other departments who may have another agenda". He even goes so far as to mention the tourist police in Chiang Mai, who employ foreign 'volunteers' who are technically working without official work permits, "please tell them that that is illegal! They need to come and report to me. The same goes for many government agencies and not-for-profit organisations which employ foreign teachers, also for apparent 'volunteer' duties, again without permits." "We're all going to end up arresting each other soon. Authorities are not respecting our department or the law," he bemoans. "Basically, the law is the law but it's up to discretion. However, discretion is one thing, everyone has different standards", said Ruchuchai. "Some Thai authorities are too uptight. I don't want to insult them but... you know. I'm happy with my staff, they don't go overboard, and they use common sense." It's easy enough to use the term 'common sense' but common sense tends to differ from person to person. When asked about Citylife's recent Unite for Japan concert, where numerous foreign musicians played to raise money for Japan, he horrified us with his answer, "Citylife could have been fined up to 100,000 baht per musician, next time make sure you ask my permission!" Where do we draw the line? Even Ruchuachai says "it's hard to answer". It's a catch 22. If all laws in Thailand were as firmly enforced as the current crackdown, people might possess a greater understanding of the law and the consequences, then the foreign music scene in Chiang Mai may not be hit as hard and fear around performing (legally) would minify. However, if that were the case 'jamming' goes out the window and is replaced by foreign musicians stuck in the waiting line at the Department of Work Permits hoping to be granted with the right to 'play legally' for a 15 day period...an artist's dream, huh? The law will never be respected if groups feel they are being targeted and other law-breakers are getting away with far greater crimes. -- chiangmainews.com http://www.chiangmai...wfa.php?id=3218 So it looks like the jamming session I had arranged in a few weeks, with mates I haven't saw in years, is out the window! We don't want to be sharing the stage, then sharing a cell, the same night, until the boys in brown figure out how much its going to cost us, just to appear before the judge, to be told we were not getting punished. :diablo:
  22. Billy takes a young farm fresh ladyboy from PookSwan, but before he took her back to the hotel room, her seasoned ladyboy mate, told her if she had any problems, she can call her. So off they went back to the hotel, but an hour later, the young farm fresh ladyboy, calls her seasoned mate who was still in the PookSwan bar. "Well," said the seasoned LB, "Every thing Ok?.... he fuck you too much?" ‘No, no, he old man… he cannot fuck too much!” Suddenly she burst out crying. "But I want you take me out of here!..... I come now on motor-ciek, and pick you up!... and I boxing Billy!”
  23. Billy is walking down the street in Pattaya one afternoon, when he sees a ladyboy with most perfect breasts. He says to her, "Hey miss, would you let me BITE your breasts for 100 baht?" "Baaa! You crazy farang!" she replies, and keeps walking away. He runs around the Soi’s, and gets to the next corner before she does. "Would you let me bite your breasts for 1,000 baht?" he asks again. "Listen you crazy old farang!... I'm not work bar… I same, same, law student!... Got it?" So old Billy runs around the next Soi’s, and faces her again, "Would you let me bite your breasts - just once - for 10,000 baht?" She thinks about it for a while and says, "Hmmmmm, 10,000 baht... Ok, just once, but not here. Let's go to that dark alley over there." So they go into the alley, where she takes off her blouse to reveal the most perfect breasts in the world. As soon as he sees them, he grabs them and starts caressing them, fondling them slowly, kissing them, licking them, burying his face in them - but not biting them. The ladyboy finally gets annoyed and asks, 'Well? Are you gonna bite them or not?' "Nah," says old Billy... "It fucking costs too much!"
