I remember as a kid we used to find jazz mags stashed in hedges , that never happens now days don't know why ? I've still been known to purchase the odd Readers Wives with a pizza or a pot noodle from the all night garage at 3 am whilst under the influence of the devils buttermilk .

I think that's about right . I had a chat with a travel agent one time who reckoned it was the best idea to book in and around that period Its all really a bit hit and miss and there can be a lot of price brackets for the same seats , its frustrating when prices go up and down daily . My advice would be if you see a price you think is decent just book it and never check again .

It used to be Stringfellows but maybe thats changed now judging by reports . I saw some sights in there over the years , I remember a big fat fellow sitting in the middle furiously wanking two ladyboys who sat either side of him - put me in mind of the old sports show Ski Sunday . I also saw a big foreign lady strip off and pole dance with her big hairy beaver and beef curtains on full display ....not for the faint hearted ...even the ladyboys were taken aback .

Yes Dave this happened with me also in April I was flying with Philippines Airlines Bangkok- Manila return . Nice to get something back for a change .

That's some crazy driving !!! Add taxi drivers to that list also , and motorbike drivers ...in fact pretty much most people on the roads out there . The only time I feel stressed in Thailand is crossing the road or riding in a taxi . Even a tussle with one of Big Tel's rather sassy "ladies" would be less dangerous .

Yes I'm in that mode now I couldn't care less . I'm bored of explaining I'm on a budget , I have to work hard and save for a holiday , that I don't go out drinking every night at home , that I pay bills etc etc etc ... They still give you that look that they know you come from the land of milk and honey .

The only bar I actively avoid nowdays is Obsessions in Pattaya . No matter how many times I decide to gave the place one last chance it always has the same conclusion ...bill padding and arguments , a shame though as they have a nice bunch of ladyboys working there . I find there is a big difference in all bars whether you are alone or with friends , if I'm with friends I'll go anywhere and more often than not its fun ..... go somewhere alone (even somewhere regular) and you get more of the hard sell . I suppose its like a wilder beast getting separated from the pack

Years ago Stringfellows was great fun but its long past its best now . Baby Boom is a great venue if you are with a bunch of mates having a bit of fun .

Thanks for the review Snowball . When I clicked on the link I instantly recognized Pat/Patty from Soi 8 Pattaya , so if she matched the pics as you say it must be her . It figures as she was in London last year and has just recently returned again . She is a sweet one and does speak good English but is a little quiet/shy , I've always liked her .

The shisha the smartphone and the pool table are the 3 curses of Pattaya right now ....ban them all from bars I say !!!

I'm glad its banned what a pointless habit lets hope they enforce it . And while we are at it lets hope someone actually enforces the smoking ban in bars so the rest of us can get a breath of fresh air instead of inhaling other peoples smoke .
