  1. I'm sure everyone was nervous at first I know I was , but it was more an erotic nervous excitement . Have a few light ales before to shake your inhibitions and go for it . Before you know it you'll be taking in the night air with someone on your arm a foot taller than you in 8 inch heels like it was the most natural thing in the world
  2. I wonder what happens if you refuse another drink ? Ah go on go on go on .... Ye will ye will ye will ....
  3. I've used a laminated ID sized copy of my passport as ID at TT loads of times never been a problem Don't take any of that as set in stone though as logic goes out the window from day to day in Thailand , who'd have thought that you couldn't hire a sunbed on a Wednesday years ago ?
  4. Great pics there like the dress on the one above you Broot real Pattaya style coming to Angeles And PD getting ready to raid the place with the off licence bag over his head
  5. Oh Lordy !! Probably on her way to a shot putt practice
  6. Anyone ever had a massage by a masseuse high on Crystal Meth ? I'd imagine it kinda takes the relaxation part out of the equation .
  7. The leader seemed more interested in "outing" the rest of the guys in the group . I wouldn't fancy spending the night in their dorm the mind boggles a what would go on . He does indeed move in mysterious ways .

    Budget Allocation

My budget has changed dramatically over the years and scaling back on accommodation costs were the first major casualty , barfines and unnecessary lady drinks the second . When I first started going to Thailand the exchange rate was 70+ Baht to the pound and I didn't have to worry about budget so hence I didn't even think about splashing out 1200 Baht a night for a nice hotel in Pattaya and 2000 in Bangkok . That happy state of affairs slowly but gradually slipped away over the years with the pound constantly weakening whilst at the same time a lot of things in Thailand seemed to get more expensive so if I wanted to holiday there 2/3 times a year I had to cut back , so in 2010 I decided to cut to 400/500 baht a night accommodation and I had to be more careful with other expenses . I didn't enjoy things any less and still did the same things I always did I was just more careful , if it ever came to the point that I had to watch every Baht then I'd just simply stop going no point in going there to sit in my room if I'm on holiday . I can't see me ringing too many bells in the future unless I hire a bicycle
  9. I have to agree double pricing is totally wrong . Imagine if somewhere like say England had double prices for foreigners it would make an outcry all over the world news .
  10. Exactly its all about having good manners . Worse than that I've had the odd guy openly groping someone I've been with and I think to myself if that was my real wife or girlfriend that wouldn't happen, just because someone is in the P4P game doesn't give you a free pass to do what you want . We all have been in many's a situation where a friend has been with someone we are already acquainted with and vice versa, in this game It'll happen all the time luckily 99% of guys in this game know the score and show a bit of decorum . To answer the original question it wouldn't make me anymore interested probably less so - I remember many years ago going to seek out a LB I fancied at her bar only to spy her coming downstairs with what I can only describe as the most undesirable slug like barrel of monkey spunk I'd ever laid eyes on , that sure shattered my illusions I still get a shiver down my spine if I think of it .... some things are better unseen .
  11. As long as you don't take it serious its all good fun and normally when you give a bit of romantic tongue in cheek banter back they love it too . I see she refers to you making her warm when she stays with you more than once I hope it is your cuddles that give her the warm feeling and you didn't "pee pee bed "
  12. Are you blowing bubblegum there Dave ?
  13. I agree with all the above comments for me bars are for enjoying a drink and socialising , pool halls where incidentally you can still buy beer are the best place to play pool . I have zero interest in it anyway and only play once in a blue moon and when I do I usually get bored rather quickly , I'm happy enough to get beat so I don't have to stay on to face some steely eyed expert with his own cue who can't take a whoopin' Those that are good at it seem to take it extremely seriously and play like their life depends on it , prancing around like a prize tit with furrowed brows and serious determination etched on their faces , a smug grin on their faces when they comfortably see off someone like me who hasn't the patience to play safe and hits the balls a good old rattle usually sending the white into someone's cocktail glass . I've yet to be in a Pattaya bar that is big enough or well laid out enough to accommodate a pool table and it pisses me right off constantly having to move as some genius tries his latest trick shot . Fair enough its a good ol' earner for a bar owner and it sure is a winner for the staff as it breaks the monotony of hanging around a bar every night but sometimes when I take a shine to a lil' lady I feel as if I'm pulling her away from the pool table or worse still her smartphone to get her attention , she might resent me for it
  14. Each to their own , I know many here who would kick back and relax and order another beer at the prospect
  15. That captures the scene rather well Corporal Kilgore wouldn't have looked out of place with a surf board in the middle of it all . I remember a few years ago watching a big Russian fella launching a Chinese lantern like he was chucking a petrol bomb unfortunately it returned rather quicker than he anticipated ... All good fun from a safe distance
  16. Remember to enjoy sensibly and know your limits I take it Essex Boy is not the designated driver ?

Gene Wilder must be one of the funniest guys ever Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles are pure class and have had me crying with laughter over the years . Gene Wilder and Marty Feldman together in Young Frankenstein was some combination - Werewolf ? There wolf ? What a funny guy
  18. Drop a real stinker of a fart
  19. The stereotype of a single guy who visits Thailand is always the sad guy lacking personality who if he fell into a barrel of tits at home would come out sucking his thumb . Whilst that stereotype is embarrassing to many of us there has to be a certain amount of guys like that around or the stereotype wouldn't exist and we have all met them . The ladyboy scene isn't exempt to this so you see a few guys around who seem inexperienced around people they are attracted too and don't seen to know how to interact with them , these guys are usually guys who are pretty wet behind the ears about most aspects of life IE - not very streetwise, and they tend to be the over payers due to their lack of self esteem Worse still are the boring arrogant sorts who think their chosen partner should just be glad to be with them no matter what because they are paying , I cringe at times and feel sorry for the girls stuck in their company .
  20. Yes luckily I was exposed to this phenomenon in my early days of visiting Thailand when I went to an after hours party with the staff from Stringfellows Go Go in some karaoke club , everyone of them seemed to have a little Thai boyfriend badly dressed with skinny jeans , pointy shoes and a half grown mustache usually a lot smaller and younger and in most cases brute ugly . Don't like Thai men ? Come off it they all do , the ladyboys were buying all the drinks and fawning over these guys . It was an eyeopener for sure but a valuable lesson . Back then this was pretty much the ultimate taboo on ladyboy forums , those that did mention it were shot down in flames by overweight western men 2/3 times their age who seemed to truly believe that they really did prefer overweight western men 2/3 times their age .
  21. I was sad to hear about this , I know its easy to speak in glowing terms about someone after they've died but Aun was a genuinely nice person and liked by all who knew her . Like many others here I knew her from her pre- ladyboy days in Corner Bar where her friendly attitude and honesty added greatly to the experience of visiting the bar so much so that with a change of management and herself and Ning moving on the place was never the same and hardly worth visiting . I remember the one and only time I ever threw a party , just a small gathering in Corner Bar at the end of the evening she produced the itemized bill and insisted on going through it twice with me with a calculator to make sure there were no mistakes , people like that are few and far between in the Pattaya bar business . Herself and Ning briefly worked at the short lived Anaconda Bar after that and as people have already mentioned more recently Duangjai Bar where she mentored the younger ladyboys on the art of not hassling customers for drinks , she understood well where the customer was coming from and what they wanted . I saw her quite a few times over my extended winter trip this year and went to Duangjai Bar regularly primarily because she was there and I always enjoyed her company , she would come round to my place the odd afternoon for a swim in the pool , last time I saw her was the end of April just before I went home . A trip to Pattaya wont feel just the same now without her big smile and welcoming hug .
  22. I really admire the ones who have been around for ages yet still have a lovely attitude It takes a unique person for that I reckon
  23. Pretty much all music has been influenced by something that came before , certainly rock and roll and later harder rock "borrowed " heavily from old blues artists . A lot of the original artists were rightly unhappy at this but being poor and in most cases unknown they never got the credit or royalties they deserved . Led Zeppelin were forced to give credit to bluesman Willie Dixon on I think it was Led Zep 2 as some of the riffs and uses of lyrics were just too blatant . I read a good book on Led Zeppelin a few years ago and apparently Jimmy Page was not just a master of the black arts but a master in using other peoples guitar lines , apparently he stole many riffs from Jeff Beck but Beck didn't really care . Borrowing tunes is fine as long as the original artist gets the credit but unfortunately this rarely happens .
  24. Yes the rumour is that Tuk Com is moving there not sure what's happening with the old one . The original one is a lot more accessible for sure , its quite a walk to The Harbor .
