Re the Nana posties ........ All the post ops in Voodoo (And I guess the other bars ) are determined to pass themselves off as real girls , I'm guessing that's because nearly all their custom comes from guys who think just that . As I was going through a post op day I decided to go to Voodoo , I had also decided that I would let my chosen victim know that I knew she was a ladyboy . A risky strategy perhaps but I feared a lights out "not lick my pussy" type fumble that I'm guessing many guys get . Despite protesting that everyone was a girl my little cutie called Som (Who actually looked very like a girl ) finally relented on the short walk to The Dawin . And so I spent a very enjoyable time licking every orifice with the lights on for starters . Some stunners in Voodoo for those who like post ops but be careful to negotiate as they are used to asking silly prices . Also the mamasan tried on the pay up front tactic a' la ' Pook Bar ...... but got a "No chance " in return .

You always show a bit of consideration Bruce fair play Its not really that hard to walk a few feet outside to light up . Perhaps a smoker needs to become a non smoker just to appreciate how much the rest of us hate it . There were times I could hardly catch a breath, all I could taste was smoke and my eyes were stinging , my contact lenses had dried out . For someone who's never smoked a cigarette in his life ..not nice .

Ah yes I forgot to mention that :) A guy turned up with a real live rabbit in his bag which he kept strapped across his chest even when he was playing pool . Every once and a while the rabbit would pop its head out to see what was going on and was most impressed with the salad but didn't care much for the feta cheese . The beauty of Thailand just when you think you've seen it all .............

I managed to get a copy of this recently , something I've sought after for a long long time .... As close to perfection as 70's soul can get , smooth vocal , great lyrics and an infectious tune . It felt like Xmas morning when the post man dropped it through the letter box I had to play it ten times in a row . This will be getting a turn on the turntable next soul night in a few weeks for sure 8)

I recently returned after a long self imposed exile and was pleasantly surprised , I had a great time on the 3 or 4 occasions I went . Old timers At and Natcha are amongst the nicest around . I agree with the smoking point tough even though bars are indoor and air conditioned the smokers still insist in blowing their smoke in our faces almost like a show of defiance because they can . Spoils it for the non smokers but do they care ?.......................

Farangbah was put in charge of the smoke machine for the evening and appeared to be a little trigger happy , the Bangkok Post reported heavy smog around Soi 4 for the evening . Getting jiggy on the pool table :)

A few pictures from the stockings and suspenders party on the 30th March which luckily coincided with the Irish boys returning to Bangkok . A great night was had by all , ladyboys a' strutin' , beers a' flowin' and a fantastic tasty BBQ cooked by LB's in bikini's . What more could a man want ? Many thanks to Guess Bar for hosting a great night . I think I rolled out around 5.30 am with a LB on my arm , promptly lost her again in the 200 metres or so to The Dawin ,then turned up with a Nana skank with a skinhead .......... all good fun !!!!! Imagine having a ladyboy dancing on your mantleplace at home like this

Good thread lads . I tend to agree with Anthony , I treat them all with respect , have a laugh with them etc etc but if they cross the line of being rude or disrespectful then I just smile , walk away and never go there again .... ever . Example - One LB I've been with quite a few times now and always had a great time with puts a foolish ultimatum to me in front of my friends " If you not take me tonight delete my number " totally out of the blue as she has always been cool . I just shrug my shoulders and say OK and delete it , later I get all the usual SMS and tearful phone calls apologizing .... no probs I don't get angry or argue just make a mental note never to go there again she's getting too familiar . Another who I always rated as a nice one see's me and my friend on the street about an hour before we are going home , a goodbye would be nice but all we get is a flick of the hair and a look like we are shit . We are no longer of value as we are going home . Not a problem this trip I see her many times and her attitude has changed back again , but all she gets is a big grin from me ..... and zero chance of a ladydrink and even less than zero chance of a barfine . Learn to act like a Thai .... a big cheesy grin on your face and keep your real feelings inside :money:

A great report by Rocket J on the Arab bar certainly an acquired taste ! Some of the strangest music I have ever encountered played at serious volume . The one LB I tried to talk to seemed horrified and turned her back on me but perhaps a night drinking Thai moonshine at Morlam had given me Charles Manson eyes. Marine Disco is the best place for LBs in my opinion and if I'm not in luck I can still get a kiss and a cuddle from Farangbah . Two lovely LBs at Titanic Bar in the newly opened Action Street complex . It appears that the black LBs on Walking Street are an urban myth Plenty of big mama's though - I see you baby shakin' that ass shakin' that ass .

It seems it is the handsome test if the boyfriend turns up or not .
