I signed up for DIA back in 2010 before my first trip to Philippines as there isn't much of a P4p tranny scene there. Exchanged messages and a few calls with some likely prospects and met one for a meal at Ayala Mall in Cebu. But in general found it to be a bit too much work for someone who tends to be on the ground for just a few days at a time. I really don't want to lead these girls on as to my intentions and I also don't want to waste time as to my intentions. ;-) On subsequent trips I have limited my advance scouting to the webcam sites where you can get a pretty clear picture :crazysmile: of whether or not you are going to be compatible for the hour or two that most of my "relationships" last for. For Thailand I have not used at all as I like partying and the bar scene. I suppose if I lived there it might be different.

Hey Randi, I have tickets for another quick trip to Phils - 4 day weekend, May 4-8. Have only booked to Manila as of now, as I am of two minds between AC/Subic and getting back down to Cebu again. What are your dates in May? And I take it Cebu is your primary destination?

Thanks randiuno. Well I AM definitely getting older :thumbsd: , but hardly a "pro" when it comes to Phils. But I am enjoying my trips there and happy to add a little first-hand information into the mix. Anyway we all have our own style for enjoying ourselves and you obviously don't feel any need to "push them out". :) I'd be interested to hear how your two dates and you all got along over such a long period of time. Did they play with each other as well as you? My impression is that this is more common in the Phils where the ladyboys consider themselves "gays". And I did see my first sea snake while snorkeling on Apo - really cool the way they move. Which of the 3 dive spots you visited did you like the best?

I've been mongering in Phils a few times now and similar to Pattaya the old 1K note seems to suffice quite well for a long ST - i.e. overnight, but having been out on the piss till quite late and sleeping in until noon. The 1000 Peso note of course is worth about a third less than the 1000 thb note, so that's nice. :thumbsu: I was once stung for 4K (approx $100) by a beauty queen type pro working Greenbelt Mall (a fun hunting site but get your price sorted b4 room) in Manila, but in general the freelancers you see on the street in Angeles City or Burgos will quote you 500 pesos for a ST. In Cebu the action is more around the clubs and discos and generally the girls don't talk price before coming back to your room - but as randiuno states, 2K is quite a generous tip and will make just about any of these girls very happy - biggest problem may be pushing them out the door after that. :lol: I am sure you will have a good time there - hopefully your business there goes well and you will have more opportunities to sample the lovely Transpinays.

Great job on the video there randiuno. I am just back from a week in Dauin, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental and it was nice to see the Rocky Point dive site on Apo Island again - what a fantastic spot! My whole family really enjoyed our time there - although having a nice Filipina ladyboy or two along for the ride would have been nice for Daddy... :diablo:

Very interesting analysis of the scene as it currently stands in Pattaya, Thaibound. Noted the contrast between the parties held at Pooks and Anaconda - although that upstairs space on Soi 6 has never really seemed to work. The parties and gatherings I've attended at Pooks in the past were always on the ground floor - where the girls couldn't get away from us. Just curious, did a lot of the attendees of GOTC 2 bring dates? The vibe I get at both the Pooks bars isn't one where I would expect a welcoming committee for interlopers. But the party I attended at Anaconda last November was kind of a "meeting of the ladyboy world" with girls coming from all over and fellow bar owners in attendance as well. The Anaconda/Guess team couldn't have been more welcoming that night despite having to work their asses off. With a glut of bars, the onus will be on management to make sure that service standards are high in order to make a go of it. And let's keep our fingers crossed that these signs of an economic upturn in the US are solid...

Hey Randy, Nice to see your trip to the Phils was a success. LOVE that dress code you described in one of the Mango Square clubs :lol: I'm off to Dumaguete this coming weekend for a week of snorkeling - really looking forward to Apo. I'm taking the family this time and staying at a resort, but any spots back in town that I should be aware of should I be able to sneak away one evening? :p

To be fair it is not really necessary if you are there on a weekend as I was, but as a first time visitor I figured better safe than sorry. Raz was a real sweetie and while her friends weren't the ones I had requested we all had a good laugh of an evening and my wingman took one of them home. The second night we took the training wheels off :)

I still love the lb bars when I'm in Thailand. Living in China where the scene is completely underground and internet driven it's the bars that make LOS so special and so much fun for me. I'll occasionally pull a barfine free FL in front of Nana or on Sukhumvit, but it seems I rarely do so in Pattaya - I almost always find something to my liking in the many bars of Sodom-By-The-Sea. I'm never there very long anyway, so the extra cost of the barfines is not a biggie as far as I'm concerned. Nothing better than being able to drink and laugh and grope while surrounded by hot young nubiles - and all for sale. I have started using the internet though for the Philippines. While it's more out of necessity than preference, it has been amusing to "get to know" some of the girls while they wank for u on a cam show. :D

I took a short trip to Philippines in Dec - Cebu and Manila, 2 nights each. As Lefty says, with the exception of Mixed Nuts in Manila (VERY mediocre imho) there is no ladyboy bar scene to speak of in the PI, so one needs to change his modus operandi there. I spent some time collecting a few numbers on DIA and also had a few forum contacts (both mongers and girls) to help pave the way, but it would seem that there are a fair amount of ladyboys sprinkled amongst the general partying population - this was certainly the case in the Cebu bars known for having some p4p action. Now that is probably true of Thailand as well, but with the opportunity to shoot fish in a barrel when it comes to ladyboys in LOS, I am ashamed to say I haven't been in a non-ladyboy disco or club in years in Thailand (the Marine's and Insomnia don't count as the former is crawling with lb's and I ONLY go to the latter if I've got one in tow who can get past the door :D). Had gotten mixed reviews on Cebu from some monger friends on another forum, but very pleased that I made the trip. I think the key is to be there on the weekend as opposed to midweek. There is a very lively weekend bar scene in Cebu and the ladyboys seem to be out in good numbers partying with everyone else with no problems that I could see. Went out both nights with a BM from another forum who is resident in Manila and enjoys the occasional weekend sortie to Cebu - I must say I had a blast and am looking forward to going back. Cebu would appear to be mainly a LT scene and the girls I met were really not very commercially minded - 1000-2000 peso tip the following afternoon or evening seemed to please them just fine. After a couple of very late nights in Cebu, I arrived in Manila late on a Sunday afternoon and left on Tuesday evening. Probably not the best nights to be in town and I was a bit partied out from Cebu anyway, so I don't want to give Manila too low a score, but overall I found it a bit boring and time consuming to get about. I stayed in Makati a 5 minute walk from the Burgos St. red light district. Some decent looking LB freelancers about offering to come back to the room for 500 pesos - dirt cheap - but I was a bit wary having never been there before. I checked out Mixed Nuts on Sunday night - probably 20 girls in attendance but very expensive LD and very thin on talent. After about an hour I decided to cut my losses and went home alone for a good nights sleep. Monday night I went to the Greenbelt Shopping Mall which is well known for its p4p cruise scene centered upon the outdoor bars, restaurants, and coffee shops in the plazas that connect the various wings of that sprawling development. I ended up with a pro that I picked up in front of Haagen-Dazs. :D This girl stung me hard on the price because I made the stupid mistake of not pre-negotiating her fee over ice cream - so I'd say you need to approach Manila differently from Cebu. But once I got her back to my hotel I was too horny and really couldn't be bothered to go back out on the prowl, so I agreed to her outrageous 4000 peso tariff - I'm guessing that's twice what I would have paid had I been smarter. That said, she was a fantastic fuck - great kisser, a lovely bottom and equally enthusiastic top - much better value than what I'm used to here in the Middle Kingdom . Again she stayed until I had to check-out the next day and was horny through out. I actually had a few girls lined up in Manila via DIA that I had hoped to get together with for some afternoon ST's, but the city is so sprawling and choked with traffic that spontaneous requires planning. The PI ladyboys are a mixed bag for sure - as Lefty says ops and hormones harder to get and more expensive. In five days and four nights I was only with 3 girls - no Soi 6 quickies easily on offer. The girls were all pretty - one that I would characterize as a young femboy and two of the more highly evolved sort :lol: that participate in pageants. It's requires a bit more work and advance prep, but this monger found being able to really have a conversation and partying with the girls amongst the "straight" population to be a very enjoyable change of pace - so much so that I'm headed back in Feb, this time to sample the plethora of slutty cam girls that appear to be on offer in AC. Last thing to note for anyone who's traveling from China is that the cheap airfares available on Cebu Pacific are a big incentive if your trips are quick hitters like mine. If you catch their promo sales, Beijing - Manila RT clocks in at around $125, vs minimum of $350 to get to BKK these days.
