  2. I recently took the Victory liner from Pasay to Dau, the bus was going to Olongapo with Dau as the first drop off. Bus had Olongapo as destination above windscreen but had Dau placard in window on dash in front of driver. Cost 150 which included bag in the hold. Trike should cost 100 -150. From airport the coupon taxis are white wagons with set price to destination, the Yellow are metered. For a standard white meter taxi you will either have to go upstairs to departures or exit airport to get one. (Edit of post..Sorry I was referring to terminal 1 for white meter taxi,, as I have not arrived at terminal 2 I am not sure of their location)

  3. I remember the first time I came across Tara in Gemeni bar and two friends said what do you think of the LB behind the bar. A casual glance resulted in nobody obvious and it was only after a longer examination of the staff did I focus in on the best looking girl behind the counter....and bingo. Here she is a few years later.

  5. Survived another day of Songkran 2016 but I hardly went out at all today. Thats just the way things worked out. I did make a trip to 7 11 for a couple of things. i got "shot" by a guy but it was a little spritz and I let a little girl, about 6 years old, pour a little bowl of clean water on me. it was charming actually. I dont mind it when the kiddies do it. I think I would get really pissed off if i were going out and about, especially at night, and got doused by some yobbo adults!! At least I didnt take off my shirt!

  6. I've used the yellow taxis several times and never had a problem with the driver using the meter (but I clarify that as soon as I get in.) If I recall correctly, I was charged 115 pesos from the airport to the Five Star Bus terminal at around 0500 hours. Not all busses go by Dau now, some stop at Marquee Mall. The drivers/conductors are very helpful, so tell them you want to be let off at Dau. If they don't pass by there, ask them to let you off at the Marquee Mall jeepny terminal. A trike for there to Fields will cost you 250 pesos- so I'm told. A trike for Dau to Fields should be about 100 pesos, depending on your negotiating skills. Enjoy!

  7. I avoid as hell myself the "shopping area" Nana and surroundings myself...irritating is my word to describe them. But Bkk is huge as its lb scene out of the p4p scene. Leaving for Bkk next week i am not leaving for other places. Tired of screaming silly lbs in the bar, you need time and patience and a good pair of shoes to beat the path of non beaten path..but once you enter into it...never leave it. but you need time...1 day is not enough and 1 life is not sufficient to enjoy it
