As I recall, there were two Addy's in Pattaya at the time. #1 and #2. Cannot recall which one that one was. The other one was down near Walking St, as I recall. I'm over Phuket. The sense of constantly being ripped off just destroys any fun for me. You can't go from Beach A to beach B without paying 800+ baht, the hotels want to charge ridiculous joiner fees and even when you do pay them they still don't allow your guest to use the facilities have breakfast etc.. One time I checked in with a friend, who was going to stay the week, and in the evening security still tried to collect a joiner and refused to give me his name when I compained. All the shops are over priced, unless you go to Tesco...and fuck it, I got Tesco here. And the talent on Bangla is wanting...and a rip off. utorrent is best if you're windows. I use Vuze on linux but the options are not as good. Utorrent will download stuff faster and in some cases files will start to download immediately that don't even BUDGE in Vuze on Linux. KMplayer is superior to VLC, no contest for me. You have to reset audio EQ everytime, it'll start in default. The control options are vastly superior in KM. Sadly y'all are at this a bit late as before they took down Pirate Bay there were jillions of hits on a google search of "movie torrent" and now, yeah, it's mostly just kickass. if you go thru Windows, DL PeerBlock also, as it'll block some intrusions to your system searching for downloads of copyright stuff, etc. Usually file size indicates quality of video, such as high def, or large screen size. Used to be a common movie size was 700 mb, now it seems to be 1.2 gig and i've seen it as high as 14 gig or some such nonsense. Files around 4 gig are often DVD format for folks that want to view the movie on their TV with a DVD player. Tho KMplayer and VLC will play it as well.

Hi QG, I never gone from HH to Pattaya, but have had horrible minivan experiences. The drivers often drive like madmen and think it's OK to put me at risk because they enjoy speeding and passing on blind curves. It's good though when they talk on their mobile phones because then they slow down from around 140 km/hr to 110. They can be cramped and often won't leave until every seat is full. So I don't take minivans anymore of possible.

The area for bar action is quite small as I mentioned before. A block of 4 sois with a few adjacent smaller sois. Takes about 10 mins or less to stroll around. Caddy Shack is usually the main LB bar in town, but nothing on the scale of the bars in Patts. There is a cabaret called Blue Angel, small and touristy. This is 2 min walk between both bars, that's how small the bar area is. There are other bars around the block which have a sprinkling of LBs, always fun spotting them. I usually stay in a guest house on the bar block, I have never heard of joiner fees in GHs there, not sure how it is if you stay in a resort hotel. The prices for the ladies are similar to Patts, 500 ST 1000 LT in most cases, especially for the LBs who can be more than grateful for custom.
