Yikes, that's Songkran day in Pattaya, Last year there was no Bell Bus service to Pattaya on April 19th. Many roads are closed. But think your hotel is a good choice. As I recall Pattaya Tai didn't have much traffic since all the roads it leads to were closed to traffic. But make sure cameras and phones solidly wrapped just in case you have to get out early and walk. Even though Thais are playing water (and flour) in that part of town, there's not many lager louts in that area and most Thais will not douse a guy with luggage. If the guesthouse provides transport, I would recommend you use it to get delivered to your hotel which more or less is in the back of Tuk Com. What time are you arriving?
