  1. Looking back at the database, most of my LBs come from gg bars. I almost always ask why they work there and one relatively constant theme has been that they are afraid to work in an LB bar. The more feminine that they are, it seems the more prone to bullying ("boxing") they are and so working in a gg bar is a less daunting work environment for them. As some form of validation of this, whenever I ask an LB to come to a LB bar e.g. Famous or La Bamba, almost without fail their first reaction is to say that they are afraid that the resident girls might box them....And then Beer of Foxy Bar told me of her first two nights in an LB bar where her success bred such resentment amongst the other girls that they stole all her money and her id so that she couldn't work for a week or more until it had been replaced.
  2. During a visit to the CR in a club in Manila a few years ago, I was having a much needed pee when I was totally unexpectedly attacked from behind by the attendant who proceeded to give me a shoulder massage whilst I was in mid flow. I did tip him if only to compensate him for having to clean up the mess that I made when I sprayed a 180 degree arc in my alarm. Apparently this massage is all part of the service in the place. Funnily enough, he always coughed before laying a hand on me after that.
  3. Following on a conversation that Bumblebee and I were having at the PBG meet mentioned above, how do you pronounce Ciobha?
  4. Ran into Ice in soi honey yesterday. Same same - really pleasant to hang out with. However, in terms of massage and all round good time, I still prefer Natcha (Thaibound - and I hope he doesn't mind me taking his name in vain - reckons that she gives the best massage in Pattaya).. A word of warning - Ice does (or certainly did) have the disconcerting habit of getting you all oiled up and then slipping her cock inside you without a condom (not that a condom would be very good since massage oil destroys them). It tends to interupt the flow of things having to leap away across the bed! If you tell her not to do that beforehand, she doesn't do it, but just lie there and the temptation gets too much for her.
  5. Too late, I'm already here.
  6. I was cogitating on this subject just yesterday - in the Philippines, the incidence of phimosis does seem to be much less than in LOS. I wonder if it is because there is automatic circumcision at birth (as in the US) or some other reason. I shall ask the question about circumcision whilst I am here In addition, the incidence of curved cocks is much less as well. There was a theory that the reason why many lbs have curved cocks in Thailand is that their predeliction for tucking them up their bum cracks which over time gives a bend to them (I can't really see that myself unless their cocks are not in line with their bums, but that seens strange), but again I need to find out if Filipino girls do the same. So much to do, so little time.
  7. Before I go out, it is a low number - once I am out, the optimum number is one more than I have had. Which could explain why I am typing this with a headache...
  8. Really ? Given your pure living and monastic lifestyle, I had you down as a fundamentalist Christian. Maybe I got confused when you said that you liked fundaments.
  9. I agree with the logic but came up with the opposite conclusion.....
  10. Experience would suggest that you need to put the word "yet" into that sentence. Filipino girls are lovely, they speak English but, unlike the majority of Thais that I know, they understand how to play the long game. I would be really delighted (seriously) if you would tell me that I am wrong when you come back from there.
  11. That particular relationship ended last year when Titian decided that Om was not for him - but she had been out of the P4P scene for at least two years in order to have a monogamous relationship with him. The sad thing was you could see the relationship unravelling over a prolonged period as differences in culture, aspirations and personalities came to the for, yet neither of them seemed to recognise it or were prepared to acknowledge and then tackle the difficulties. Maybe they did in private, but publicly they maintained a front of luvvy dubbyness until it went tits up. For those interested in such things, Om is a sweet girl who would make a great GF, albeit with quite high maintenance needs.
  12. Trumpets, heh? Me, I like my trumpet with a silent "s"....

    Weiner

Isn't this a lot of fuss about very little? To quote (and summarised) from one of our papers yesterday.... Eliot Spritzer - bankrolled by his wealthy father, came attorney-general of New York and then its Governor. In both positions, he prosecuted several prostitution rings and made a song and dance about it. At the same time, he was a client of a posh escort service, spending tens of thousands of dollars on high class hookers. He was caught by an unrelated federal wiretap. The madam went to jail, he resigned under threat of impeachment, went onto several jobs in the media and is now standing for NYC comptroller. In addition to the gross hypocrisy of his actions, he exposed himself to blackmail, although as far as I know, nobody actually was blackmailing him - but as AG and then Govenor, to put himself in such a position is indefensible. Weiner texted raunchy photographs and words to other consenting adults. No crime, no sex, no adultery (unless having you can have virtual adultery which is an interesting question for many people on this website!) and no hypocrisy. OK, he carried on after he resigned from Congress and said that he would stop, but so what. Why are people getting their knickers in a twist about this? Surely it is up to the adults (and I use the word deliberately - not children, not convent nuns, but people who have sex lives and who presumable want their politicians to be relatively non-corruptable) in New York City to decide who they elect to govern them. If they decide that they want a man with the moral integrity of a woodlouse or someone who has a predeliction for sending pictures of his member to other consenting adults to be their comptroller, well, it's their choice. Yet the media cover of this appears to be focusing on Weiner, not Spritzer. Perhaps one or more of our North American BMs could comment on what appears to be the assessing of their politicians on prurience measures, not ability or non-corruptability or anything which actually impacts on the job and its outcome. I am interested not least since what happens in American politics tends to cross the Atlantic and take root here in the UK. It would depress me immensely to think that we would get to a position where we consider sexual behavour is more important than integrity and ability. I also believe that people by and large get the politicians they deserve which would make me even more depressed!
  14. The problem in this approach is that "good" in terms of music is totally subjective. And what may make route 65 (is the change in name to do with log on problems or an attempt to appear younger? We demand to know!) sit and purr with contentment may well send me running out into the night screaming. Particularly since his choice in music may well include anything with an anti-Rangers rant, regardless of musical quality. Since it is subjective, bars would find it difficult to choose a selection that will attract all of their potential customer base and thus give up, playing music that the girls like (and keep in mind that the girls are there all the time and mostly bored silly - playing music that they do not like may well increase their propensity to quit). And this, bearing in mind that the girls are both young and from a different culture, is usually stuff I don't like However, my issue is not with the content but with volume. If it is played at a normal level, almost regardless of what it is, I can tune it out. If too loud, then I can't. Nor can I talk to my mates or the girls so unless it is from that very small canon of work that I actually can sit and listen to, I leave the bar. In my view, getting bars to play music at a sensible level would be much more of a inclusive crusade.... It's one of the great advantage of the Philippines - you rarely find the girls in the bars, so it is easy find a place to talk and relax. The disadvantage is of course, having talked with them in English and in an environment in which you can hear what they say, you can understand them!
  15. Really? They do a bloody good impression of sleeping at 2 in the afternoon, snoring their little heads off in my bed when I want to go out!!
  16. Except that the marginal costs for the airline are largely directly correlated to the weight carried i.e. the heavier the plane , the more fuel it uses. And 300 passengers each with a total weight of 120 kilos rather than eighty kilos is an extra 12 tonnes of weight to be dragged up to 36000 feet and flown to wherever. Rather than typing your weight in (how many people would lose 10 kg plus?), a better system would be a total weight allowed - say 100 kg per passenger. You and your clothes and your hand luggage and your luggage would hop on a scale and any excess would be charged. Provided the total was a reasonable amount and everything was explained in the booking contract, it shouldn't be a problem. We had this system in the small Pacigfic Islands where I used to work, mainly because the planes were so small (10 people maximum) that the total weight carried was a major issue. Being at the time a skinny bugger and carrying almost no luggage, it did amuse me to see larger people told that either they went or their luggage went, but not both. It is also in use in the Philippines when you fly to Boracay - I was weighed with my luggage for the same reason - small plane, short runway, bloody big trees at the end of it.
  17. I am sure that, in extremis, she will, but that's not her primary usp. IM (not so)HO it would be a bit like buying a Ferrarri and wondering if it would be suitable for taking stuff to the rubbish tip. Yes it would, but that's not really why you got one.
  18. Sorry - I am confused. Is this money to ensure that he gets home safely or is money to ensure, let's put this delicately, he doesn't get home, safely or otherwise? I find it useful to have this sort of thing clear in my mind before we take the money.
  19. What struck me on my visit to S21 was how small scale it was. As far as I remember, around 7 or 8 people were killed everyday and this went on for 3 years giving a total in the region of 7000. Now to get to the figure of 1.3 million actually executed (as opposed to those who died of starvation or disease) in Pol Pot's regime, there must have been a network of similar camps throughout Cambodia with many thousands involved. Compare this with the system that the Nazis and the Communists under Stalin set up which were industrial scale genocide, this was almost cottage industry genocide - and no less effective or terrible for that. What I find is an appalling inditement on the West and China is that Pol Pot died with his boots on and many of the leaders of modern Kampuchea were members of the Khmer Rouge and have walked away scott free. Not just free, but now rehabilitated into the political system where they are busy abusing their positions of power. If anyone has an iPhone, you can get a free app to a publication called Intelligent Life which is published by the Economist. In the Jan / Feb 2013 edition, there is a sobering article entitled Beyond the Killing Fields which documents the continuing abuse of power of these people, driven not by a mad philosophy but by money. It made me angry (which is quite a rare thing for me).
  20. Maybe something to do with the fact that male homosexuality is punishable with death in Saudi so sticking your photo up with contact details probably ain't the wisest thing to do... In Iran, it is also punishable with death, but lesbianism only attracts 100 lashes. Feminism gone mad!
  21. He was no dictator. He was an elected leader - elected three times if memory serves - in elections which were largely democratic and largely fraud free. He was loved by most of his people. We in the West appear to have the view that democracy is really only democratic if the country concerned elects an government friendly to us. It ain't the case. Democracy means that the Government is put to elections every five years or so and if the party that wins sees fit to follow paths which are not in our interests, it is still democratic and the leader is not a dictator, but the leader of his or her country.
  22. Dear God, there's someone who must have done something wrong in a previous life. What a thankless task, being hauled out of bed at all hours to sort out drunk, obnoxious loud brits who have offended the Thais in some fashion. I am sure that there are some other aspects to the job which are quite rewarding, but that side of it fills me with horror. Having said that, I shall drop in when I am in town just to introduce myself. Never know when it might come in handy!
  23. If you neeed a wingman, you know where to find me!
