I knew Paultain fairly well as it happens. I worked overseas in the Middle East since 2007 and started my own mongering around 2009. As with many lads in the various forums, I met and enjoyed many a wild time of it during those (mad) years, Paultain being one of them, amongst many others. We did have a good yard about the old days - The Troubles and his exploits in Thailand. When I was in his company, I didn't find he elaborated his ''stories''. The longer I knew him, it was just a case of picking up where we left off the previous trip. You can often tell when the BS is blatant and I couldn't honestly say he told a story for the sake of getting some kind of reaction. We would message when our travel dates were and if they linked up, then we would arrange to meet up from time to time. However, the more plastered he got, the more incoherent he would become and yes, ramblings would then be the order of the evening. At that point, ending the night or simply me moving off alone was sometimes the better option. We had things in common and some not but I did enjoy his company, his tales and the stories. Yes indeed, the man could tell a tall tale. Maybe that's just what it was - A Tall Tale. In the end, we lost touch due to my rotations being out of sync with his and then I found out of his passing. So yeah, I think we all in some way or other being a version of Paultain in different degrees.

RIP Josh. If I remember right, back in 2009 - 2013, this was my timeframe of debauchery within our wee community. I found Baby Boom and settled into it like a home from home. Josh made all of us extremely welcome and I got to know him more with each visit. Like you Rom, I was an avid amatuer photographer back then and as most did, wrote many a descriptive TR accompanied with heaps of naughty pics. From shower shows to neon LB painting it was carnage but bloody good fun. Josh would give me the heads up as to what was next on the agenda so I could plan ahead... lol.So I sit here writing this thinking fondly of the time I shared with him back in the day.

Yep, sorry to see bars closing all over the place. I certainly have many a wonderful memory of the quiet night shared in the company of Jimbo in C&D's.... My first LB orgy (all from C&D) Bloody hell, it's a wonder I survived. Just an update, Eve/Sherlyn/Vicky, predominately spends alot of her time working in the Japan region. Comes home often but either to her home province or in Bangkok. Catch her if you can.. And one more thing, no more topping for this girl. She is now a post op lady. Peace

Cat amongst the pigeons time.. lol I have been going to Hoff for years and enjoy it each time I go there.. granted, I have never taken a LB buddy and used it more as somewhere on my own, with mates or with a gg.. The wheat beer is outstanding and bloody strong, the lager is equally as good. Doesn't take you long to get off your face from their liquid appetisers.. Food in my opinion is touch and go although the pizzas are very nice. Petesie and I bought 12, I think for a party at la Bamba one time and they delivered no dramas.. Different strokes for different folks, I guess..

Nowadays, as lifestyles and habits change, I am not at all bothered by this curfew time... It gives me a good chance to get out and about (by myself) in the afternoons at times and do my own thing till the missus finishes work at half 8.. lol I'm more of a take it how it is kinda guy now.. I am in the ''papa'' club myself for shoo-arr... 555 I was telling a story the other night when I had bar fined a cute wee sweetie from Soi 7 years ago.
