  1. Welcome to our newest member, Real Me http://www.ladyboyreview.com/ladyboyreview-profile/realme/ http://www.ladyboyreview.com/ladyboyreview-profile/realme/
  2. The vendors started selling their stuff tonight. Traffic was backed up on Beach Road. As Seven says, this cause traffic problems all over town but perhaps the worst problem is headed south on Beach Road and Soi Buakhao.
  3. Great party! Lots of good friends! Lots of hot ladyboys! :party0011: If you're in Pattaya. it's still going on!
  4. I don't think it will affect Pattaya Tai traffic. I think Beach Road and Soi Buakhao will be affected.
  5. I agree. What they have for #1 is absurd. But hey, anyone can make a list. Will not be easy to guess the #1.
  6. Last year there were 4 stages. This year only 2, the Main Stage and the South Pattaya Stage. Not sure of the exact location of either.
  7. That's Number 2 Paccers! 2. Rick's Café Américain First Appeared: Casablanca (1942) Notable Patrons: Elsa, Victor Laslo, Captain Renault, Nazi scum Signature Drink: Champagne and Brandy There's no telling how many people dreamt of opening a bar before Casablanca was made, but from the second "As Time Goes By" pours through Rick's Café Américain, lacquering a coat of glory over every surface, untold sentimentalists decided to get into the booze business. Rick's isn't just a bar with everyday patrons—the majority of the customers are facing decisions that will permanently alter the rest of their lives. Refugees from across the war-torn world wash up in Morocco, and Rick's is both the place to forget and face their troubles. In the end it becomes the backdrop for love, patriotism, and ultimate sacrifice. A legendary respite and gin joint for the most honorable of vagabonds.
  8. Thursday is a big party at Lita Bar! :party0011:
  9. There are canopies on Beach Road for the vendors at the Pattaya Music Festival. This is on the road itself, not the sidewalk. I heard they were set up yesterday although the vendors won't be there until Friday. Not great for traffic flow but there wasn't too much traffic on Beach Road tonight. There were some nice ladyboys in the Soi 12-13 area though. My understanding is that Beach Road will be closed to vehicular traffic Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons and evenings.
  10. There was some discussion of Dino's Bar and Grill in the Irish Trivia thread that meandered into talk about Thin Lizzy and who are the "Boys" in "The Boys Are Back In Town" Don't think those boys were from Soi Sunee. Googling around to find if Dino's exists, some say it's in LA, I found a website listing the Top 50 Coolest Fictional Bars. Can anyone guess Number 1 and Number 2? Any ideas for a name and a theme for your fictional Ladyboy Bar? 11. Dino's Bar and Grill First Appeared: "The Boys Are Back in Town," Thin Lizzy (1976) Notable Patrons: The Boys Signature Drink: The Drink Yes, until we gave this one another listen, we also thought that the only lyrics to were "The boys are back in town.” Though their needs are simple, the boys at Dino's Bar and Grill are looking to have a good time. “Drink will flow and blood will spill”—this spot isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you go, it should be a good time causing big trouble. Guitar solo! 20. Bada Bing! First Appeared: "46 Long," The Sopranos (1999) Notable Patrons: Tony Soprano, Ralph Cifaretto, Paulie Walnuts Signature Drink: Body shots of tequila David Chase was right to choose "Bada Bing" as the name of the strip club owned by Silvio Dante on The Sopranos. Not only is it a nod to The Godfather, the serious mob film all other serious mob films aspire to, it is a vast improvement on Wiggles, which was the inspiration for the topless bar where the plans for so many whackings are laid. From Big Pussy to Richie Aprile, the deaths of all your favorite characters were plotted here, amidst the silicon and glitz. The perfect training ground for a boss. 21. Cheers First Appeared: "Give Me a Ring Sometime," Cheers (1982) Notable Patrons: Norm Peterson, Cliff Clavin, Frasier Crane, Lilith Sternin Signature Drink: Carla's cocktails Inevitably someone in your life will compare a relationship they have with a restaurant, or bar, or vending machine, as being like that of Norm and Cheers. It's an unavoidable fact of being alive that most likely stems from the fact that Cheers is nothing like a real bar at all. The bartenders never seem to do any real work. No one ever vomits or becomes anything but hilariously eccentric after their ninth beer; and no tragedy ever makes its way into the bar except as plot fodder. Cheers is a pillowy purgatory, disembodied from the real pricks and pleasures of a real bar.

Googling around there seems to be a real difference of opinion about the song lyrics and even if Dino's Bar and Grill existed. It made a list of the top fictional bars on some guy's website: 11. Dino's Bar and Grill First Appeared: "The Boys Are Back in Town," Thin Lizzy (1976) Notable Patrons: The Boys Signature Drink: The Drink Yes, until we gave this one another listen, we also thought that the only lyrics to this song were "The boys are back in town.” Though their needs are simple, the boys at Dino's Bar and Grill are looking to have a good time. “Drink will flow and blood will spill”—this spot isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you go, it should be a good time causing big trouble. 12. Just joking. Didn't call Yank's Septics either, lol http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/prayut-says-its-just-a-joke-for-travel-ban-to-the-us

  14. I think the guys who are are "gutted to be going home" are guys who have stressful jobs that they don't enjoy which is a large percentage of people. There were lots of things that I didn't enjoy at my old job and that's how I felt. The day to day grind of work is a huge contrast to Disneyland For Adults. Most Yanks don't get much vacation time so 49 weeks of work and 3 weeks of vacation is tough if you don't like your job. Guys who are passionate about their jobs are quite fortunate. Guys who "kind of like" their jobs, but have good bosses and co-workers are probably more typical though. Then there are guys who hate their jobs and hate the people they work with but can not duplicate the money and benefits elsewhere. Disneyland For Adults is a powerful drug. Some guys never felt sexually deprived at home. But my guess is the majority of guys never got all the sex they wanted from whomever they wanted it from. So Thailand is like heaven. And Work like hell. I don't regret moving to Thailand. I have many cousins but no immediate family. I had lots of friends back home, two of them are in Pattaya right now. But have loads of new friends. Almost all my new friends are into ladyboys which is sort of strange I guess. I was happy enough at home. It wasn't shit. And I am happy enough in Thailand though the Disneyland has worn off. If I could have my old apartment back at the same way below market price and my old job back (can't have either) then I'd go back and just take holidays to Thailand for awhile. Looking back there's lots I could have done to make my job less stressful. But I needed a break, a long break. I'm kind of surprised that this particular thread stirred up emotions. It's not a thread like "Is it wrong to give a ladyboy less than 1000 baht for shortime" which is guaranteed to get heated. Nobody has mentioned ladyboys in this thread. I would think all the same feelings would apply if everyone here only went with GGs. I guess ladyboy cock is just a bonus.

I used to hang out in a bar that had lots of petty thieves and these guys loved that song. Especially Crazy Jim, a guy I knew back in the day. It resonated these with young toughs who didn't have a clue what was going on in Manchester. To me the lyrics sound very American.
  16. Space Hair Salon has a website: http://www.spacehairpp.com/ Draft beer is only 1 USD (33 baht). By day a hair salon; by night a small gay bar. Sometimes a ladyboy there. So worth a look. Street 136 between Street 13 and Street 15.
  17. This hotel is way off the beaten path so probably not where you'd want to stay. To see the listing of this hotel on Agoda: http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/2-bangkok-accommodation/?p=731 Our friends at Asia Hotel and travel have now found a way to offer significant discounts. Here is the link to discounted Pattaya Hotels: http://www.asiahotelandtravel.com/index.php?/topic/300-pattaya-deals-dynamic-update/?p=724 These discounted hotels are automatically updated. Currently the Page 10, a Forum favorite is 30% off. One of the LKs is 20% off. We will soon have a listing of discounted hotels in all the major monger destinations in Thailand.
  18. Are the little red songtheaws up in Chiang Mai known as baht bussesn or is only Pattaya terminology? http://www.stickboybangkok.com/news/ladyboy-flashes-bus-passengers-in-chiang-mai/
  19. I don't know which hotels near Soi Buakhao have short time rates. In Pattaya, the Full Love Inn has a shortime rate of 280 baht but it's in an inconvenient location close to Club 4. On Soi 13/3 there's a hotel that has a shortime rate of 300 baht. On Soi 13/1 perhaps The House or LaBamba? Near Action Street, Parinyas is 500 a night. Perhaps they have a shortime rate? Think they have a safety box in the room. If you find one, please let us know!
  20. Citibank customers "might" be able to avoid ATM charges at the three Citibank branches in Bangkok. Not sure how this works or if it works. http://www.citibank.co.th/en/static/Location.htm
  21. The Army raided Sunee Plaza on Saturday night. The boys were rounded up and given pee tests at the Double Shot Bar, formerly Corner Bar. If tested clean then the boy's hand was stamped. The video states customers were tested but this is believed Thais who are not actually employees of the bars. My sources heard no rumors of farangs being tested.
  22. Sunee seems to be at an all time low point for ladyboyish boys. #6 in Powerboys on Soi VC might appeal to some of you. Slim pickings compared to just a few years ago.
