I dunno. A cockpit brawl is a very different animal than crashing a plane. My guess is that if the pilot had never left the cockpit there would have been no crash. I'm not sure if a suicidal guy wants to get into a fist fight and kill a man with his bare hands or maybe lose and be shamed while he's still alive. If you walk from 69 Bar towards Soi Buakhao it's on the left hand side just past the huge beer bar complex. If you get to Nina Massage, the all ladyboy massage shop, then you've gone too far. If entering from Buakhao, there's a Kasikorn Bank on the corner. I was on the soi and thirsty so figured I'd pop in for a cold one. My Leo was 70 baht. What are your strategies to prevent theft by overnight guests? I reckon using the in room safe is a good start. But laptops usually don't fit. So a Kensington type lock isn't a bad idea. But MacBook Airs don't have a slot for a Kensington lock.
