Trump has grounded the Max 8 and Max 9. Most of the rest of the world has already done so after the second crash in 6 months.
  2. My teerak was rooting for both the USA and Thailand and started shouting USA USA like they do at Trump rallies. I called exactly who would make the Top 3 after the Top 6 gave their answers to their individual questions. But I would rather have a romp with 4,5, or 6, Malaysia, Japan, and Vietnam than with any of the Top 3. Miss Laos didn't even make the Top 12 but I thought she was a looker. I also called the winner after the responses to the final question. Our new Miss International Queen is quite an accomplished public speaker and she certainly raised my awareness of PEP which was sort of off my radar. The MCs made two interesting comments: 1) something like, Pattaya is no longer a seedy beach resort 2) (to the contestants) "You guys are georgeous"

Thai Airways just reduced their economy class checked baggage limit from 30 kilos to 20 kilos effective April 1st. Bangkok Air has a 20 kilo limit but if you are a member of their frequent flyer program, free to join, you get an extra 5 kilos, down from 10 extra kilos last year. Bangkok Air has a reputation for being overpriced on non-competitive routes such as Samui but I've gotten many good deals with them. Air Asia has this reputation for being cheap but once you add in all the extras they aren't so cheap anymore and fly out of Don Muang. I much prefer flying out of Swampy. Bangkok Air has free meals, free seat selection, and a free Lounge with light snacks, coffee, and wifi.
  4. Heads up, due to advanced voting in the erection, no booze starting 18:00 on Saturday the 16th until 18:00 on Sunday the 17th. Then for the main event on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th it might be even more restrictive.
  5. What is GMM25, the broadcast channel for Miss International Queen? I can't seem to find it. Do most people have access to this channel?
  6. Part of the reason LBR has been so slow is that guys just got tired of the login problems, especially the problems of the last 5 months. But now that LBR is "forum only", once someone gets logged into LBR the first time as forum only, then the problems disappear. So if you have friends who have given up because of the login problem please suggest that they read this thread: http://www.ladyboyreview.com/index.php?/topic/8119-login-problems/ and to email basschcuk@gmail.com if they need help with the password reset.
  7. Hong Nam is free at Katty Bar. It's either 5 baht or pee in your pants at TJ's.
  8. Can you tell how big a ladyboy dick is by her looks. Do you think those with a more manly look are well hung?
  9. Ariana Grande is to play in Manchester for the first time since 2017 when she headlines Manchester Pride in August. The US pop star will return to the city to headline the LGBT+ event at a new 9,000-capacity outdoor venue at an old railway depot on Sunday 25 August.
  10. My time in Pattaya is drawing to a close this year. I don't go out that much and when I do go out it is usually not a ladyboy bar. I think Best Ladyboy Bar might be different than Favorite Ladyboy Bar. What I mean by that is TJ's has great talent in a non-pushy atmosphere and Leos are priced fairly at 80 baht. Maybe I'd rate it the best. But if it was my really Favorite I guess I would have gone there more. My 2018-2019 Favorite Ladyboy Bar is Katty Bar. Great location given there is very little traffic directly in front. Comfy chairs to while away a few hours drinking 60 baht Leos. Non pushy staff and friendly to me despite my buying a grand total of zero ladydrinks. I'm not there to grope or audition for a romp so no reason to buy those damn things. I'm not the typical customer though. What's your Favorite?
  11. I think that is the secret to gaming the system. On a day that I do a transaction, by the time I get home, I see Fidelity has already debited the money. Then the next day they give me back the dollar equivalent of 220 baht. So if the amount of bahts you can get per dollar is rising intraday then one wouldn't want to make a transaction that day getting the stale Visa price. OTOH, if the amount of baht you can get per dollar is declining intraday one would want to hustle to the machine to take advantage of the stale rate. Big moves are likely to occur when the BOT or the Fed make major announcements. I am not sure when the Visa day begins. Might be midnight EST but maybe not. https://usa.visa.com/support/consumer/travel-support/exchange-rate-calculator.html For guys not to famiiar with the website it can be a bit a bit confusing. For Fidelity and Schwab you would be inputing a 0% bank . The rate you will be getting is listed like Then you need to take the inverse of 0.032069 which is 31.18 to see the rate you are getting. If when fooling around with the website you see something like 1 USD =31.38 Thai Baht that is NOT the rate you are getting.
  12. My experience with the Fidelity card has been quite good. Rate seems to be about what I could get at TT in Pattaya. ============================================================================================================ Looking at the Super Rich website, it used to be that the rate if changing USD to baht you would get at Headquarters was only about 2 satang better than what you would get at the airport. But looking at the website recently it's 16 satang better per dollar. https://www.superrichthailand.com/#!/en/exchange This doesn't mean much if changing a couple of hundred dollars but if changing 10K there would be a 1600 baht difference between Headquarters and the Airport Rail Link. My guess if Super Rich expanded their spread at the airport then the other Rail Link moneychangers are doing the same. But if you look carefully at the difference in rates between HQ and the Rail Link the difference in rates only applies to changing dollars to baht but not baht to dollars. As I mentioned before when travelling home to the States change your baht to 1 dollar bills for the best rate. Some of the money changers may have a limited amount of 1 dollar bills though.
  13. Took another visit to Kink and it has to be the premier gogo in Pattaya. The stage lowers every hour on the hour. Pretty girls, great sound system, and quite comfortable seating. Plus an upstairs Sodom and Gommorah although the girls on the smaller of the two upstairs stages/beds aren't that pretty. Here's typcial Kink music, might not be everyone's favorite but the great sound system enhances any style of music.
  14. Most of the guys here on LBR want to play around. So if that's what you're after then the go to dating site would be Thai Friendly But there are ladyboy dating websites that are oriented to guys and ladyboys who are looking for for a relationship. If that's describes you then I'd Suggest You Read This
  15. Here is the original quiz. Just took it again and was spot on for me. I am also very interested in non-American results. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/upshot/dialect-quiz-map.html
  16. Most bars will be closed or not serving today. So it's a Thai Friendly Day for most mongers.
  17. They don't say top of the morning in your town BB?
  18. Do you call the common playground game tag, tig or it? Is that bit of bread on the table a roll, a bap or a bun? And do the words but and put rhyme when you say them out loud? The answers to these questions and others like them divide the various regions of Ireland and Britain just as much as, say, the question of soda, pop or coke splits the United States. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/02/15/upshot/british-irish-dialect-quiz.html My results: Definitely not from around here are you? Your answers were closer to the average person outside of Ireland and Britain than anywhere inside it. The map shows places where answers most closely match your own, based on more than 380,000 respondents who said they were from Ireland or Britain.
