  1. Can’t say I disagree, Sith. Lots of BMs like to see sexy pics, and Rom (and you) do not disappoint in the filthy pics department. But what I appreciate most about Rom’s TRs is his writing. He has written some nice bits of prose in his TRs, and he often does so with uncommon candor. I respect writers who take risks. Most of us don’t have the balls or motivation to write TRs at all, never mind with Rom’s candor.
  2. True. Several of the characters were sensationalized in the news media at the time. The average Joe and Jane rooted for Bonnie & Clyde’s escape, even though they murdered cops, etc in cold blood.
  3. Barty intrigues me. I’ve got an itch for her. She’s a big girl, and has a sweet disposition. I wouldn’t want to get on her bad side though. I reckon she could kick the average bloke’s arse up and down Soi Pothole if necessary. Smart staffing choice @Delirious Bar — bar gurl / bouncer.
  4. I'm a 'Merican and I never heard of him either.
  5. That’s a movie, a great movie, starring John Wayne.
  6. I can guarantee you that all ethnicities are welcome at Katoeys “R” Us. I’ve been there numerous time in the past few weeks and I have seen several Indians in there, having a great time. Everyone is welcome there.
  7. Those videos are still playing! It honestly feels exactly as it did during my first trip to Patts. The pic of the tables above is your spot, and where you and I first met. I believe that was summer of 2014.
  8. I hate it when that happens. Do tell us what you did not like. Is this book available on kindle?
  9. I know some guys who will be in Pattaya soon will be happy to know that the Pattaya Beer Garden is open and waiting for them. I popped in the other night for a snack and it brought back memories of my first visit to Pattaya.
  10. Is this a riddle or a trivia question, BBG!?
  11. Nice. Just added to my list. Can’t leave out the Doobie Brothers.
  12. Excellent tune. Reminds me of happier, younger and simpler days. I’m on a real 70s binge lately.
  13. Good one, bumblebee. How ‘bout some Jackson Browne?
  14. These two songs by Seals & Crofts are on my current playlist. Flashback to the 70s - Summer Breeze and Diamond Girl.
  15. Well, aren’t you mister smarty-pants. Did you recall this from memory or did you cheat again?
  16. A few dates have attempted to ask for B1500 ST, saying the price had been previously agreed upon, one from Delirious and one from KRU. I flatly refused and informed them there would be no future business between us, as I coldly escorted them to the door. I made a hotel stay deal in central Patts, which was not honored on the day of check-in. I will disclose more about this later, when I am out of town. I have not experienced any bill padding and I have been vigilant. I did have one gurl get herself a drink on me, claiming it was a misunderstanding ( it was total BS). I was having a good time and didn’t challenge it. This happened at Delirious. Not that big of a deal, really. Some of these girls are completely broke and need to eat. I will share more experiences later when I can’t be bonked on the head walking down Soi Buckaroo.
  17. I would say the Philippines. If AC wasn’t such a shithole city I would probably be there now. But I still might pack my bags and get out of dodge. Exchange rate of my US dollar is as good if not better in the PI. Another benefit of the PI is the complete absence of immigration woes. No absurd visa runs and tea money BS in the Philippines. My perception is that Thais generally really don’t like Westerners. We are merely tolerated because of the economic benefit. Whereas the Philippine people really do like Westerners more. I have been in Pattaya, Thailand only a few weeks and I have noticed a few things that might just prevent me from visiting here in future: 1. Lack of LB talent. Obviously this is COVID related and the talent might improve in the coming weeks as high season begins. And only a few venues exist in Pattaya worth visiting—Katoeys R’ Us and Delirious. There is great talent at both locations (primarily KRU) but nothing like pre-COVID. 2. The level of shameless, bloodthirsty, money-grubbing has increased dramatically, it appears to me, by both Thais and many non-Thai business owners. This could be a misperception on my part because I have been away so long. But, I do get the impression both Thai and non-Thais in Pattaya are desperately trying to recoup COVID losses overnight. While understandable to some extent, it’s not a smart way to do business in the tourism industry. It has really turned me off and many people I talk to share my concerns.
  18. Tough one. I’ll guess the North Star, but I doubt that’s correct.
  19. We all have different tastes and kinks, Rom. Ours are quite different, but the one thing we do have in common is we like to have fun—“. . . to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life”. It has become clear to me by reading your trip reports that your playmates are fully consenting adults, who you compensate appropriately for your antics. Do you step on lines and provoke? Indeed you do. Do not be discouraged when eyebrows are raised, because that’s when the good and meaningful stuff happens. Thank you for sparing Zammy, by the way. We shall be reunited in the not too distant future. Party on, Dude.
  20. Nice tribute, mate. I lost my best mate about 2 years ago. He died suddenly of a heart attack, aged 57. We’d been friends since our early twenties in college. Death sucks, but I find it is also sobering. For me it’s a reminder of how short and precious life is when someone I care about dies.
  21. I’ll be going to this. I wonder if I should wear a costume.
  22. A few snaps of the Delirious gurls who entertained me last night. @jimbo33was there and we had a great intoxicated chat. Herberth has no mercy on poor Jimbo, always keeping his glass full of Jameson’s. I took Beauty back to my room for a splendid long-time.
