  1. or he's a FAKE ladyman so as to get in easy with the girls pretending to teach dance. You'd let yer daughter be alone with the average 30 yr old MAN? but a swishy ladyboy? oh, ok.
  2. I booked in June as the Ukraine thing ramped up and fuel prices kept going higher. Direct with Delta/Korean Air. $1500 r/t...was not taking any chances on it hitting 2000 if things got worse (it was already 2k or more in many searches on Kayak). At this point I feel HAD. American was offering $1048 a few weeks ago and from a closer airport. AND Delta changed my departure time, moving it up by 3 hours, tho it's no biggie. At the time I booked I was sure most of the low price options were brokers and those could change or cancel easily and leave ya holding a bag of poo. I'm not so much worried about what I'll find in LOS as if the airlines get their act together or not. I EXPECT any low priced offering in LOS, especially the cities, to be GONE, out of biz, deceased, etc. or upgraded with doubled prices. Bound to be a lot of scrambling on the ground to fill those budget slots as 2 yrs of Covid pretty much killed em from the Mom n Pop food vendors to the guesthouses with cheap dorm rates. My fave cancelled my reservation in Nov and I see elsewhere they're now charging almost $20 for a DORM BED! Luckily the good side of my high priced airfare is that it drops me in Bkk around NOON (a first, it always drops me there at midnight other times) so I can wander round at my leisure looking at places to flop. Plus use the Airport link to get into town.
  3. when are you back to LOS Piggy? I'm flyin into Bkk Nov 4.
  4. thanks for the tip. There's a retired detective in Chiang Mai Unseen Thailand in Chiang Mai) that's pretty good sometimes. He goes on a walk and ruminates or tells a story. If you ain't checked out Thairish Times ya should, he's got some good interviews, MOST notably with an old one toothed guy that's been in LOS for 35 years and was an extreme backpacker...as in get to a place spend or give away all his money and see what happens. Where that led him over the years is just FANTASTIC.
  5. I'm not sure how what you said relates to what *I* said. M1 steel runs back to WWII and that was still in use in Vietnam. That German helmet looking extension for the ears came in with Kevlar, the most recent design. I don't recall seeing those trimmed in Stainless Steel, but it would not be a bad idea I suppose as abrasion might make a Kevlar weak or crack I'm guessing. In any even that is NOT a Nam helmet as he was told (I'm not sure he believes it is truth be told...exaggeration is part and parcel off youtube). I also wonder about the goggles, they DO look high quality and he claims they are vintage Spitfire era googles.
  6. from the side ear parts, I'm guessing that's a newer kevlar model. It's not steel or vintage Nam era, that's for sure. I think it's a copy, never seen any US Army issue trimmed in stainless steel. he's got a bit dull lately, making the algorithm happy. Don't seem as animated in general...might be getting a bit burned out. Malaysia..blah...cheap it ain't. He's started bullshitting. I'll tune in again when he hits home for a bit, that oughta recharge him. VN is liable to humble his ass as it did Paddy Doyle, who in addition to other things had his GoPro stolen when he walked away from the bike a bit. Think LOS spoiled hit ass some, they'll put up with anything. Not the zoo guy tho...that made Sean get serious in a heartbeat. his subs numbers are kinda stalled a bit it seems to me.
  7. I'm MUCH more impressed by the Reverend Gary Davis.
  8. music used to be good...now it's mostly bad. Hope that clears things up :)
  9. well, he's off Thailand and out about it, claims Buddhism makes em lazy twats (at least in the cities and tourist areas) and LOVES KL. I thought it a somewhat empty soul less, way too spread out (the fucking airport is like 40 miles from the city for chrissake) city with more highway than street life. He's also off the weed (said he got nothing done) and beer (as it's a Muslim country and there ain't a Leo to be had in any given half mile). His most recent post was a 3 or 4 hour live stream of Q and A which I found quite interesting. He's had some interesting jobs, guy ain't sat still for long over all his years. His energy is quite something. Don't take himself seriously AT ALL. Rather hard to dislike. Now I've watched him from vid 1 (ok, I admit, I was sure someone would knock him OUT in the first couple months...but if you watch his vid on the mall fulla fakes where he has at it with a heavy bag, I reckon it would not be an easy take down) but MOSTLY because he was in THAILAND. Not sure I'll keep up with him as he goes on his merry way thru Indonesia, might pop back in when he heads home to Norwich. He's not nearly as thick as he seems tho.
  10. looks like she's in the former Fun Wan Hostel...drat, I was looking at that one. Wonder if she got some rooms with that rental?
  11. my biggest concert regret was telling a friend headed to the Fillmore East New Year's Eve that I did not have the $5.50 for the ticket price. Tol him I'd see him somewhere else later in the year. Band of Gypsys. It was great goin to a concert back in the day, mostly smaller crowds cept for the Meadowlands, that could be 110,000. Joints would come at ya down the row from both ends sometimes. Big party. We packed 30 joints for 5 people for the Grateful Dead and the Band in 74 I think it was. Small outdoor baseball stadium. Ran out about before 3 hours in. Think the ticket price was $7.50. Not much of a party at 68 now...friends all scattered and NO WAY IN HELL I am paying even $75 for anyone nowadays. Whole nother game. Not sure why people go to these big outdoor thangs now. Seems to have lost it's way.
  12. gonna be hard to beat that one in the kinky category.
  13. that went right onto Wheels of Fire live sides, GREAT stuff...at the end in the photo montage you can see the Filllmore East marquee showing coming acts...I was at that Dead concert on the 3rd. Great era. (don't know how that psychedelic SG got in as thumbnail, it ain't in the vid. Never actually seen him playing that one in a vid). believe it or not Dave, Cream played the small town next to mine at a Catholic high school of all places,, around the time of this vid. Course in 68 I had no idea about concerts yet, totally missed it

would it be ok if I poke an insertion size hole in just the right spot? maybe just a slit? vertical or horizontal? I suppose for those areas you mention...might get looks on the Skytrain huh?

hey, I get that almost every time I hit Bangkok. I call it Bangkok Lung. Oddly it clears up when I go to Cambodia. One year it came and went for almost 2 months. Never have figured out why? dry plane interior for 15+ hours? Bkk pollution? Never happens at home in the usa. Interesting to see what happens in November when I get there. I won't be able to go OUT if it happens. I'll be coughing and ppl will start freaking out...they'll taze me n lock me up in a haz mat room for 2 weeks, heh.
  17. I find it odd that SUDDENLY they GET IT!!! it's more like some supreme being came down and bitch slapped them into sanity (tho I'm sure it's only temporary)
  18. crap, they go OVERBOARD with EVERY fucking THING in that country. Now they'll fuck up Jompty.
  19. NOWWW yer talkin. That Liam guy is ordinary, godlike? Fock boy, don't ever watch Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's on youtube...it'll do yer head in. My favorite Van tune is Into the Mystic, with Tupelo Honey comin in next. He's got a huge body of work which I'm trying to sort thru. What I never realized was just how much crap these guys turn out too, I mean Zappa was a genius but man some of his stuff is only good to listen to if you're raving mad :)
  20. my first concert was MC5 at my high school, end of 69. Lovely boys, quite melodic if a bit loud :) A couple months later I caught Chicago with Johnny Winter as the back up act at the Fillmore East. Pink Floyd was EPIC 3 months after DSOM release. June at an retired baseball stadium. They set up like 16 HUGE STACKS or speakers at equidistant points on the upper tier/rim of the bleachers. You'd hear a small alarm clock behind you to the right, a bigger chime to the left and so on. That weird buzz/roaring sound went in great circles around the stadium. It was THE BEST sound experience I ever had. A year or two later they trimmed down to half that and it was just good. Oh yeah, and I was tripping my ass off on some good acid. And I was the driver :) good times. I lost interest in music as the 80s progressed with all that crap synth and hardly a bass line to be heard. Way too slick, massive venues...blah. Dire Straits was good tho.
  21. I like em thin and flat. IF we are in the minority....more for us, let the big booty boys take those incoming. Right kind of blocking I'd say. As to Sean...well, he's well traveled and done many jobs over the year and been in a hell of a lot of situations I'd say. He knows the limits but pushin em is his fun, I'm sure he's ready for most stuff that might happen. Yeah, ridin like that IS nuts. I still wonder if it was speeded up a bit for effect :) I'm sure I'm not the only one that started watchin him from the first video, expecting to see him knocked down by some pissed local. I think the fact that he's got a BIG shit eating grin on his face most times, and an easy laugh makes the locals think he's ok, or just a bit ting tong. Say what you will about him, he don't get on and brag about any sexploits, won't do it he says. he's got amazing energy and stamina. Up early and walkin the beach? All the distance he travels in an average day would have me waking up at noon. Glad he got off those lux places, we all know what they look like and cost. fuck em. Frankly sick of blue water and nice beaches too at this point haha. how muslim Indo takes hiim will be interesting.
  22. nothin better than small hormone tits...YUM
  23. I have to repeat my suggestion to try Reacher on Amazon Prime...it's a series and NOT the dwarf cruise. Main guy is amazing and creates a fascinating character. It's an engaging who done what? where and WHY? kinda thing with some humor slipped in. So bingeworthy I'll probably watch it again soon.
  24. interesting, just saw Little Spicy tout on a youtube vid, guy was doing a quick walk down that Soi mentioning Retired Working for you's big party at Hemingway's Lush? top floor anyways. Soi 11 no? I'll be interested to see her place if it's still goin by November when I come. No telling with things changing so much of late. Thanks for the reports.
