  1. I'm looking forward to it as always. Be doing a session at my local bar (run by an Englishman!). But there'll be Irish presence. That free Irish stew in Mr Ranger's advert there would be enough to entice me. Back in Oz recently I had the first feed of Irish stew I'd had in years. Wonderful; how I love it.
  2. Thanks for that tip rx. Being the dinosaur I am, I'd never heard of such things.
  3. Yes bb, I was surprised to learn that about myself. I am now totally dependent on the bloody aether. I was like a lost soul withut it. And yes, time does fly - another cliche. Those afternoons in the PBG do seem like just a few days ago in many respects. Sam, it was OK, that's how I'd describe it. Some of it was fun, some of it argumentative and a bit weird. Typical mix in complex situations. I'm glad to be home, and back on the air.

    Greetings

Yes, the Cambodia section in general is well worth a studied read scotty. There is a pinned thread on accomodation, and lots written on Golden House hotel - which you mention specifically - in various threads. There are also threads on 136 St, on LB Tiara Herself - who you mention - and many other things including draft beer drinking, restaurants, the Rainbow Cabaret, and so on. These include various photos of prominent PP LBs.
  5. The primary ingredient for being able to navigate the forum and website is to be able to get onto the internet. I have just returned from 5 weeks in Australia on a holiday of sorts which turned out to be quite hard work, as a result of doing family, which was my aim for the visit. But the place I was staying had no internet access. Can you believe that in a so-called first world country in this day and age? I had to journey to public places to access available wifi. This proved quite trouiblesome also, as it meant travel by hoof and bus of about 45 minutes minimum, heading to a shopping mall or a public library. Hence in 5 weeks I was only able to get on the internet about 5 times, and then for limited stays. I logged on to LBR about 3 times I think it was, but had neither time nor energy to do any posting except for one short comment I recall making on something or other. Significantly the time has taught me - to my surprise, as I'd never thought about it before - how crucial the internet has become to my life. Every waking day I am online, often for hours on end in bursts of 2, 3 or 4 sessions. I read news and current affairs, sport, and general stuff about life, as well as doing research, both serious and fun, I email and lay about on forums, both LB and otherwise, contributing nonsense and comment, I download a bit of porn occasionally, and all the other usual things we all do. But never before have I tried to do without it longtime. Sure, we all lose our ISPs now and again, but only for short times. This is the first time since we all became familiar with it, that I have been forced to be without it for a week or more at a hit. I felt totally disconnected from the world. I took to watching 24/7 TV news trying to keep up with events, but that aint the same. You can't control that the way you can go where you like on internet. For me it has shown up as being absolutely essential in my life, something I now cannot cope with having to do without.
  6. Definitely a better place, for it makes me feel warm content relaxed. And if I am same, then the world must be a better place, surely (better than containing a grumpy surly old bugger anyhow). Can't comment on whether it's truth or not; can only give my own (subjective) view. First time was at university. As a kid I had tasted my own many times, but the above was my first swallow of another guy. Not difficult, and I don't even see it as a crossover. I guess I've always been a faggot even though it might have taken me a while to realise that. I see it as just another part of broad spectrum sexuality. I love it. My favourite sex act: sucking drinking swallowing. Yum. As an old fart I now couldn't give a rats if I never had another fuck. But I have to have my dose of cum. Nourished I am in a whole lot better place. I see GG to LB as a spectrum (see above) and cannot find in my past any leap at all. Just a smooth blended move across the colours of the rainbow.
  7. It has indeed been a tremendous memorable time Sam. Certainly my most enjoyed time in Pattaya; the best. Warm regards & good health to you too my friend. And thank you for the vin; delicious and delightful. O and I nearly forgot to add: the cuff marks were visible on dixon's wrists last evening as he tried to hide them behind his naan bread.
  8. I see neither our guest of honour nor his co-organiser are on the forum. So bb, Rocky, and any others who are reading and interested, how about we meet up at 2? If that doesn't suit suggest an alternative.
  9. I continue to be amazed at the ability of the human brain and associated nervous system to recuperate and recover. Anyone who has been within a sniff of my most recent TR for PP will be well aware that I endured some grief (all over a LB as usual). I was very down during that trip - so my memory tells me - and for quite some time thereafter. Last evening at GOTCIII dixon cox looked at me with his impish smile and made a comment to the effect that: wasn't that a great time we had in PP. Before I could actively think, my brain and mouth just coughed up a reply: yes, it was wonderful. And it was. Or at least the time spent with dixon, the meals, the drinkies, the other LBs, all that stuff. As I was replying to dixon - and this all happened in about 2 nanoseconds - I was suddenly aware of what words I was using in my non-thought-out reply. I then consciously thought to myself: how bloody marvellous the brain is, allowing all those bad memories to fade to a lesser place. Not be forgotten, but to take on much less importance now (cliche: time the best healer). While this is happening same said brain brings to the forefront warm good memories, that when triggered by something like dixon's comment, produce this really positive flow of emotion. I find that fascinating and fabulous.
  10. Earlier the better. (ie more time with the departing man)

    Restaurants in Pattaya

Glad to hear that paccers. My mate bubba also ate it last evening; ordering out of each other's hearing we were both pleasantly surprised when the waitgirl turned up with two of the same. So there's a smallish crowd of us who have it among our favourites anyhow, which is nice. When I began making this dish I had no idea whether you could buy powdered rice - which I see you put in quotation marks - the language name for which I obviously have no idea, in Australia, so I followed my cookbook's advice and made my own. Roasting the rice dry then setting to with a big old fashioned mortar & pestle. Nowadays in VN I simply get it from the market, but it comes in unmarked plastic bags, so I don't even know a VNese name for it.
  12. I know when I'm in the presence of a Master. (And I think I'm a quick learner - at some things anyhow.) BTW, you missed a fabulous GOTC last evening Mate. You were very much missed by all & sundry.

    Restaurants in Pattaya

Last evening prior to GOTC III I ate at Pattaya Beer Garden. Larb Mu; pork. This is a dish usually offered with a choice of chicken, beef or pork. The meat is minced. I always choose pork. It is fantastically easy to prepare and delicious to eat: Boil pork mince for 10 minutes. While that's happening chop fresh chilli, onion, fresh mint leaves. Have ready some rice powder & fish sauce. (Former is dry-roasted rice pounded into powder.) Turn out cooked meat into bowl. Add rice powder, chilli, onion and stir well. The heat of the meat will cook the others a tad, taking the raw edge off. Add fish sauce. Garnish with mint leaves and serve with steamed rice. All up preparation time is about 15 minutes. Dead easy. I have cooked this dish at home for the past 20 years and I modestly have to say that mine is far better than PBG's professionals did last night. Theirs: too much chilli for me. I know the Thai like their chilli, as do I, but not so much that it kills the flavours. Also, theirs was far too greasy. You must try to get pork that isn't too fatty. Anyhow, a recommended meal; I still enjoyed it even though I struggled with the raw chilli heat. A certain member of our company informed us it is an Isaan dish; I never knew that.
  14. A fantastic evening; thoroughly enjoyable. Good nosh, drinkies got the results required, gorgeous LBs, some of whom were active in their ST roles, the best company one could ever wish for. Big thankyous to deepthroat and SiamSam for making it all happen. Such generosity, such friendship.
  15. I'm up for that bb. I'll stroll over there now.
  16. Be careful there MAC and be glad you got the Atlantic between you, for our kinda nice Tel might just choose to gofa your throat. Ha!
  17. Ken, will I see you before Saturday?
  18. Belated happy birthday deepthroat, you young man you. Missed the shindig by a day. Damn. Seems like it was a good one anyhow. Seeya soon.
  19. Thanx willie. As you can see I haven't been looking at threads for a while also. Lunar New Year Madness & Malady is just in beginning phase here (can we call it foreplay?). People are buying up big, the roads become more frenzied (can you imagine that?), traffic cops start pulling every tenth driver over for trivial reasons merely to exact pre-holiday palm grease from them, some people are already drifting off to the countryside, others talking about it and planning, buying tickets, etc. The real event draws its curtains on 10 february. Thereafter it is real insanity for a few weeks as people pound their brains with rice alcohol, gambling, and noise. Time for a grumpy old cock sucker to do a flying duck: migrate west & south for a month. So it's off to Thailand on Thursday (31/01) and then after GOTC to Australia for cheap wine, legs of lamb, and meat pies. Bye to the village for a month or so. Seeya when a little sense returns and most folks are back at work & study. Forwarding adresses: Sunee Plaza, with one evening at Famous; Pattaya Beer Garden.
  20. Of course they will. I've taken LBs to Candy. It's only a bar and they're only bar customers when they're with you, they drink drinks, chat, sit and behave normally. No problems.
  21. Now where have I heard that before ... ?
  22. Yes, as others have said: welcome Chrisdlux. I probably don't know PP as well as you by the sounds of it. But in 6 or 7 visits to the capital over the past 3 years or so I have never once had any trouble taking LBs or boys back to any room in any place I've stayed. Not so much as an eyebrow raised at reception or anywhere else.
  23. Ah JD you Americans never cease to amuse me; only folk on the planet who speak without an accent, eh? The reason I'm not in Thailand right now is I live in Vietnam.
