  1. Major Cox presided over a residence for women? You couldn't make this stuff up! Was he assisted by Private Parts?
  2. Wow, what a great show that must've been. Chip's brother is Jon Voight so his niece would be Angelina.
  3. Yeah.. Lyle Lovett has a "Closing Time" & so does the great Guy Clark, but I bet it's not either of those...
  4. Same here, for 5 years I used I 90 constantly every week as well as traveling to the east on it once or twice annually, just couldn't recall the number...
  5. As many years as I drove across from the upper midwest to the east coast (Mnpls- Chi) for the life of me I can't remember the main east/west interstate there

Hmmm... I probably knew this at one time, I'd guess it's a reference to something like a H Hesse character or a HP Lovecraft reference?

I should've followed my instincts, '55 & 56 is when all the great shit went down in that studio.

I saw the Ozzy Ozbourne doc last week, how he managed to cheat the reaper is unfathomable. I'm no fan of his work or TV show but he comes off as a likable guy (& lucky!) & the film is entertaining to watch.

    Top Ten lists.

    5. You find a restaurant with a great spicy Thai curry & you get a boner from sudden memories. 4. In a hotel room you check the toilet seat for footprints.
  11. Nick seemed to be on a several year run of big, empty-headed flicks... probably to pay for all those botox treatments. I noticed he's starting to do some more interesting movies again recently (but The Croods 2 is coming).
  12. I believe that's right.... his movie "Lifeboat" takes place entirely in a... well, a lifeboat, how did Alfred get his vanity shot in that one?
  13. Well Zach Galafinakis interviewed him on "Between 2 Ferns" & the opening question was "How does it feel to be the last black US president?" (It's a very funny web series if you aren't familiar with it.)

I wonder if The Ramones are the first famous rock band from the 60s-70s where all the original members are dead already.... anyone?

I'll guess '60 since I think he recorded it first in the old Sun Studios... actually in that case make it '59! (I connect Sun with the 50s.)
  16. Yes, I found trolling malls in the PI to be fertile grounds. Even had waitresses volunteer to meet me after work when I asked questions about the town, etc... Of course I am an irresistably hansum man! Especially the food court areas where they hang out.
  17. Congratulations on organizing & seeing this through Rossco, I'm sure it must be like herding cats sometimes, but the "craic" & gifts to deserving charities is an amazing accomplishment for the community.
  18. Oh jeezus.... 4 years of Latin classes & I can't even remember something as basic as that

Y'know you are right, there was a remake by a Motown group that was a big hit a year or two later Pacman.
  20. Nah.. wouldn't be him, not only does he have recent "loser stink" on him but he's a closeted gay which is a real big deal. A lot of people think Hill is a dyke anyway because she isn't a traditional first lady type.
