Love the daytime photos. The free drinks for the girls later certainly seemed to liven things up. I have a nice photo of Mardhi having been thrown in the pool by the girls...haven't decided whether or not to post. :rolleyes:

Very nice Lung. I'm thinking a Superstar Ladyboy Comic book series in which good ladyboys fight against the "evildoers" of the world. This easily has screenplay potential as well as huge branding opportunities. Just a thought... RJS

I visited Diana Oasis yesterday. Fabulous staff - I mean really, awesome. When you go in, go to the office on the right, not straight ahead (that's a different place). Very full for much of the year. Decent rooms (3 to 4 star). I'd say it's a notch down from April Suites but much more affordable for long term stays. No usable balcony (in case you have a guest who smokes). It seems as though it is mix between "year-rounders" and monthly apartments. Swimming pool looked nice but quite well-attended. Looks like a well run operation.

I went back to the Blue Rahtree Complex today and found the Omelet Bar. As you walk into the complex from Soi Buakhao, the bar is in the middle of the complex on the right side (6th bar on the right). Yaya and Oi were there and they wanted to reenforce getting the word out about their opening party on April 5. Best of luck to the Omelet Bar! Here is a view looking in from the front of the complex...

BREAKING NEWS FROM "ON THE GROUND" - Famous Bar Installs Very Strong Bar Height Tables Outside: replaces big old comfy chairs Famous Bar completed work yesterday on some new bar height metal tables which have been installed in the front of the bar. Complementing these tables are new bar height stools. The tables are beautifully crafted and adorned with decorative metalwork. In addition, according to one of the girls, these tables are quite strong, in fact, strong enough to dance on. On a sad note, it was observed by someone (but not confirmed) that there is no foot-rail. Some will miss the big cushy chairs that would occasionally fall off of the front deck into the stairway, others are ecstatic about the changes. Still others simple don't care. First impressions...not bad

I went in to the Blue Rahtree complex yesterday for a look-see. It's still quite empty but couple of bars are open already. I did not see where Omelet is (or will be). I was impressed with the layout of the place overall. There is a nice bar at the top of the stairs to the 2nd floor with couches etc., looks like a smart, comfortable layout. I agree, Buakhao has a lot going on these days.

It was great to meet you on this trip Foggy and also great to hear about your travels. Now I'm confused about Rinn. For some reason I thought Rinn was that was rather siliconed, veneered, and otherwise worked upon. Not sure if your photo is is actually the "love of my life". BB, do you know who the love of my life is??? She was sitting in the bar across from Caddyshack on day 1. Foggy, the photo you posted above, I like her too!
