I've been drinking less too. I was missing a drink when I had run out at home, but I think that was because it was unavailable. I did stock up when I was finally able to get an online supermarket order delivery last week, but have only had an occasional cold can of Stella or glass of cold white wine in the evening. I'm glad not to have any hangovers. It's great to wake up at 5am in these lighter mornings feeling ready to go - even if I can't go anywhere!. But come the darker evenings in Autumn and Winter I expect my consumption will increase again.

You could be right. Like when lbs say they will be getting a job in a specific lb bar. It might be that they would like to get a job there, not that they have actually been offered a job there. But I think that is more a language thing than a Thai trait. But like you I hope things work out for Sunny. At least she has family and friends in Bangkok. This means that Mind will be more isolated though.

Sunny says she doesn't know if she will get job at Big C when she returns to Bangkok. She will have to find out if there are vacancies and make an application if there are. Might not be possible as I'd guess getting any job will be difficult as there will be lots of people laid off from tourism and associated employment looking for work. I hope she is able to find work. Keep your fingers crossed for her guys!

Well I don't think much of Bozo and Cummings either. According to today's graph there isn't much difference between UK and Sweden's deaths per head of population. But UK's does seem to be declining at the moment, while Sweden's seems to be increasing.

I wish her well. It's good she seems to have already arranged to get her former job back. It will keep her going in these difficult times, better than the precarious living which is all that's available in Jomtien/Patts at the moment. Good for Big Al to take her there.
