Because xmas in Europe has always been associated with mid winter and cold and dark etc I've never been able to get the concept of xmas somewhere warm it just seems weird . Same here if I wasn't addicted to sex with ladyboys I'd have stopped going long ago . But similarly I go to bars to meet my friends and I enjoy their company , the novelty of going to ladyboy bars alone wears off very quickly . Yep probably the most important criteria , if someone is a handful in the bar or a pest they are hardly gonna improve in any other environment and best to avoid . Similarly if someone is sweet and drama free more than likely they are like that 99% of the time . My ladyboy nirvana is ultra cute and feminine , a little bit curvy , fun to be around doing normal stuff and totally wild in the room . This could turn out to be very important advice . I too for many years kept my travel insurance locked away with my passport /travel tickets/passport etc until I heard the horror story a few years ago of a guy who had a serious accident and because not carrying any insurance or ID was shipped off to some dump of a place to die . I'm lucky that my current insurer provides a little plastic credit card sized card with the emergency number and policy number on it . Another good tip is instead of carrying your passport or a photo copy go to any of the photography shops ( I used the one at the Second Road end of Soi 13/1) and get an ID sized copy of your passport page . You can get this made into an ID card and laminated very cheaply I think it was around 100 Baht for 2 copies I even use it at home for ID .

The army and police were raiding the Nana Bars on Sun and Mon of this week forcing the girls and lbs to do "pee pee test" . Lots of photo's taken and put up on social media with customers visible also , as a consequence the bars were empty next night with many girls not showing up . The roadside beer bars have suffered a clampdown too with alcohol having to be disguised in plastic cups .
