i'm intrigued BB... what is a tea-bagging chair? would it be worth me getting one for my dungeon? -

just small packs i think. It's not actually something that i would normally buy but i picked up some cod fillets from siambury's recently and thought why not go the whole hog and have the fish in batter a-la English fish and chips.... Mushy peas available in homemart too! life is good.....

here you go Ches... forget all that posh Lazada stuff... 12 baht at 7-11. just add cold water and that's it

indeed, Mona, looking well but evidently finding working life a bit humdrum out in the sticks wherever she is. But stick to it a bit longer Mo. At least you have regular money coming in. Good kid is Mona.

okay then! to be a bit more positive after the coffee events of 2 days back... Quinn and Chester may recall me questioning how you make batter [if anyone i.e Americans don't know what this is , it's a crispy flour and milk coating for fish, chicken etc] here's the rub... all this cooking stuff is a tad complicated for me... i even asked a Londoner too. And he had the nerve to suggest breadcrumbs as an alternative, which just goes to show that londoners are a bit soft and poofterish sometimes... but never mind, because i have just been to 7-11 and what did i find? packs of batter on sale at 12 baht each! my faith in 7-11 and humanity itself is restored...

The 2020 Romscars

here you go Rom. your joint Rom/Quinn collaboration now proudly framed and on display in Emmy's -
oh well, it just goes to show that even when things are moving along nicely, something can always happen to cause disappointment and consternation. It seems that life truly is not always a bed of roses. Yesterday was one of those days. Things had been going along swimmingly for some time, me finding a 3 storey 7-11 and Pdoggg having a new big store opening near him. How wonderful life was. so Grunt! what has happened? i hear you all gasp with concern. Well i'll tell you, but please no PMs filled with sorrow and sympathy, it will take time but we will recover no doubt. I met up with a certain moderator yesterday, but to preserve privacy i won't give you his name, i can tell you though that it wasn't the mod who lives in Ireland and wears XXXL size shirts nowadays {ha! i bet you thought we had all forgotten about that BB!] anyway, that certain mod who is not Irish and myself had a coffee from the new Santa cups on the 2nd floor of the 3 storey 7-11. Wonderful, life was replete. To make the day even more exciting, we decided to mosey along the beach to the new store in pratumnak. so, there we moseyed to find that the store has a new wonderful coffee machine with all the bells and whistles.. honestly it looked like a command console that has been designed for the moon-rocket that a certain Thai minister has announced recently will orbit the moon in 7 years time. Maybe sooner if they can obtain a strong-enough rubber band. If it crashes into the moon they can always blame brake failure. but i digress... none of the staff knew how to work the damn thing, i'm not having a go at them by the way. I doubt that Bill Gates could have worked it either. We waited so long for the damn coffee that we actually took turns to stand in the queue. I kid you not. eventually we got the drink to find.... it wasn't in the new cups! it was in the old design cups... can you believe that!? so, don't worry about all the shit that is happening throughout the world... shit happens here too.

you missed half of the fun Chester. You didn't stick them in the little book did you?

about time this topic had a bump.. and 7-11 have provided just the right opportunity in these dark doom-laden days.... it's christmas! so here's the exciting stuff... hold on to your hats...... a new festive coffee cup now in 7-11 stores! they even have a pic of santa on them.. [or it could be Quinn maybe] and even better... they have a little gift tag on the back where you can write a message and send it to your love... i'm sending one to Annabelle.

oh god!... what happened to the yawn emoji? i need it!

i dunno about the 'Blade' character Seven, no way do i look at vloggers, but as you know i am known in Pattaya as a bit of a fashion icon... so as far as i'm concerned any man who wears socks half way up his legs with shorts, should be put down. But, how can you say that the forum is boring at this time? we have covid, and... covid.... and covid.... and er... dodgy covid statistics... which reminds me... did Q-Guy ever manage to start a war between England and Sweden? anyway don't worry, i will have exciting news in the 7-11 thread tomorrow! maybe today if i can pluck up enough courage to try to take a photo. wait for it.......

yup! i wish i could sketch.....

some may be aware that Bob Dylan now nearing eighty sold his song catalogue for a reported 300 million dollars . it seems now that Dolly is a-thinkin' of doing the same: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/dec/10/dolly-parton-says-she-may-sell-her-entire-back-catalogue. To help Dolly out a bit, i have also decided to sell my complete back catalogue of songs, including my biggest Country and Western hit: 'My Momma was a cowgal [my papa was a Hoss]' i promise that i will send at least half of the 20 baht i expect to be offered to Dolly, so that she will get double what she is expecting....... Yee Haw!

The 2020 Romscars
blind boy grunt replied to Rom's topic in The Romscars Club's The Annual Romscar Awards 2019-22
just to put you right Rom...my comment wasn't a nay vote... it was simply a comment replying to PDs. i care not what pretentious bullshit delerious posts now if it still does, i don't see it but no, it didn't happen at ALL clubs including the romscars. Herberth went way over the line but anyway my vote was long ago cast TJs way. -

Here's a surprise....... sometimes throughout history there has been surprising collaborations some may compare the following joint-endeavor to Hitler and Mussolini perhaps.. others may compare to Bonnie and Clyde....? a certain illustrious cowpoke BM, may even compare to Kenny and Dolly... but forget them [it's easy!] for the wall in Emmy's bar after the recent Romscar awards.. Here's Rom and Quinn working together.. -

Woodie parish?... i can beat you Woodie, my family on my grandfathers side have a family tree going back to 1175. a village still in existence named after us...Kirk Hammerton near York. One of the Hammerton's - 'Stephan de' Hammerton' was both beheaded and hung by Henry 8th because he led the catholic Yorkshire insurrection against the king. half of what is now south and west yorkshire was owned by the anglo -saxon Hammertons, granted to them by William of Normandy when they became adherents when he invaded. it seems the mistake made by Stephan cost dearly...the lands were claimed by Henry. i assume of course that logically he was hung for a bit before he was beheaded! whatever...i want my birthright back.... -

a more polite British slang way of saying in exasperation... sod me...fuck me!... sod off...fuck off!... but, you being a native thai speaker as i can see from your post to Emmy...win win, same same etc etc. just to keep you correct- you cannot say 'can i sod you later? it doesn't quite work like that! i'm from Yorkshire by the way, so you could say that i'm a non- native English speaker too. and there ends my English lesson for today -
