Beautiful & Impressive

Though not what most of you are looking for.

I have very little interested in flowers and fauna, but the ones in Thailand cannot help but impress you.

Especially when you wander the small soi in the village or the field and pond hedge rows or the nearby jungle.

So, some photos, I have taken over the years.

Wow what beautiful colours these plants have and so majestic.

First 15 are from Samui and the airport

the rest are from the Queen's Botanical Gardens near Chiang Mai, well worth a visit, but a car is helpful.

Great stuff

I do like the Orchids and the Bougainvilleas, (the pink one in the pot on the paved area), which do really well in New Zealand.

Makes a change from seeing the flowering petals we see normally on here!.

What's the flower that smells really great when you are walking by?  Think it might be the pinkish one in your pics.

Its called Lily!!!!!!.
