There have been a number of raids recently in/around Pattaya. Just a day or two ago there was a massage thread started here.where I mentioned two certain massage shops. I didn't know it at the time but both places had already been raided. When I walked by a few hours ago at 3 AM the first shop was open but dark the second was shuttered. One massage place down the street that always only has 3-4 LB out front was open as usual but most of the rest of the massage places on Soi Honey where shuttered. Soi Honey was mostly a ghost town at 3 AM. Club 4 (if I have the name correct) was raided today. It is one of maybe 8-10 gentlemans clubs that has been raided recently. While not a staple of LB lovers the gentlemans clubs seem to be getting hit very hard. Soi 6 is operating but a number of bars aren't allowing ST on site. Some are but I got the impression many are not. Per a first hand account from a GG board some foreigners at a gentlemans club that was raided were taken to the police station. It seems one guy didn't have a copy of his passport page/visa/entry stamp and was held for three hours until he could get someone to get his passport.. Again mostly minimal impact on the LB scene, except maybe Soi 6, so far but ST places are drawing a lot of attention. Besides the crackdown on short time rooms there is evidence of a crackdown on non-Thai sex workers be it PI ladyboys at 60 Bar or Cambodian boys in the Jomtien Complex. Club 4 is an interesting joint. It's sort of out of the way in an area surely not zoned for bars. You need to ring a doorbell to get in. Besides the bar area there are palces to lie down like an Arab sheik and have a drink with a lady. If you wantthey can close the curtains for a blowjob mcuh like My Friend You on Soi 6 but there is a barfine involved if teh curtains are closed. Or you could just go upstairs to a shortime room. pdogg Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Club 4 A popular daytime bar located in Central Pattaya was the subject of a raid on Thursday, following a tip-off that sex and drugs parties were taking place at the location. A team of Banglamung District Licensing Officers and Army personnel conducted the raid at the Club 4 Bar off Soi Arunothai, just before 6pm and found many foreign patrons inside. A total of 9 women, who appeared to be employed by the venue were taken aside and checked. Nothing untoward was found and all the women were over 18 and were not in possession of illegal drugs. Some were urine tested for drugs and they all passed the test. Rooms on the second floor were searched and nothing untoward was found. However, checks on the venues licenses did reveal problems and these issues have been reported. It was obvious early this AM that it put fear into most all of Soi Honey (the bars were open though). But the place with the most LBs was open. However I didn't ask them if they were only doing outcalls. There were more massage girls on Soi Chaiyapoon at 3 AM than on Honey. That is being open unusually late for that soi. Maybe they are getting extra customers until one of them gets popped. It really hasn't affected me much as I rarely go to Soi 6. And the one day trip I did go to Soi 6 was a few days before the latest round of raids. But if you are a Soi 6 person it might make life a bit more difficult. If going to Carre Blanc, Tuesday and Friday are the best days as drinks are 2 for 1. So you can get two SanMigLites for 100 baht or two Leos for 80 baht. Was also at Telephone Bar recently. Although Club 4 is not marked it is only a minute or so away from the Love Time Inn which is marked. Club 4 is also an easy walk from Bliss Blowjob Bar. Love Time Inn is a short time hotel with secure parking and porn movies charging 280 baht for 3 hours. But if you're not familiar with the outskirts of Pattaya it's best if I just show you some afternoon. It's easy to get to from my place. Not all bars have coughed up yet, but it is apparently only a matter of time. Those that have are renting out their rooms to girls who work in the bars that have not at around 300 baht per time which the punters pay on top of the normal bf. I got this information (in a ST room) from a delightful lb who also gave me the following figures:. Each bar, each month pays 3 individual men in brown 5000 baht each, another 5000 goes to the army and 1000 goes to the mafia man who provides the muscle when customers get out of hand (so to speak).So 21000 per month on the overheads just to be able to operate. That's 70 average barfines or the first two and a bit per day.
